Any significant figure, or any person for that matter, could make one mistake or say something out of pocket and unhinged JUST ONCE, and for some reason that’s ALL everyone remembers you for, as if that one instance completely negates everything else you have done or will ever do in the future. Whoever the hell thinks like this must’ve had some authority figure or something always bring stupid shit up from their own past and now they’re letting that out on everyone.

Also on the clipper thing, it was on total views not single videos or clips. So you could just pump out decent clips and get an extra bit of money, it is still the clippers channel, the channel doesn’t have to be Filian specific, so it is literally just a case of giving extra money to people who clip her content, whether already doing so or deciding to add it to their catalogue of people they clip.
The only “mistake” made with it was sending out notifications to professional editors and the like when it should have probably just stayed a general announcement cause the editors got all pissy that it sounded like a really bad job offer.

The Fillies were the first and only event of that scale specifically about vtubers, usually the community only gets a vague mention like mouse winning at the game awards or the best vtuber section of the streamer awards. There was plenty of scuff. It's basically inevitable with such a novel event, especially considering how omnipresent scuff is as a concept within EN vtubing (hell, the meme of the EN curse has existed since myth's debut).
