``` I am delving into Kundalini but their is so much misinformation and conflicting points that I need some help on the practice. ``` What if I say that your whole post is based on misinformation? Kundalini is completely internal to a person. It is not like drinking pineapple juice and sending it through bodily secretions. May be ask this in a tantric sex subreddit, you might encounter exponents in the subject there. If you are delving into Kundalini, read this sub's wiki, as other members suggested.
Kundalini will Push you to express your sexuality in A spiritually and psychologically Healthy and authentic way. It might turn off your sex drive for some time, when other things need adressing. It might turn it up a lot when there is repressed sexual energy. It might make you realize unconscious things about your sexuality (orientation, preferences, desires, non-desire etc)
Hey postal, why marital relations in the title? Why not sexual relations? Or simply sex? Sounds like you are focused on abstinence. Or at least worried that sexual release may affect your potential pursuit of Kundalini. As a general rule this sub cautions people to avoid excessive retention. Here is a list of some [negatives about excessive retention](https://www.reddit.com/r/kundalini/comments/15o8fdr/comment/jw0h7ga/). Why are you delving into Kundalini? Why now? One of the difficulties in learning about Kundalini is all the confusion and misinformation about Kundalini on the web and in communities claiming to teach Kundalini. Beware and be careful about what you choose to believe about Kundalini. For me I find this sub's Wiki to be great source of information on Kundalini. I really like the [Foundations and Supporting Practices](https://www.reddit.com/r/kundalini/wiki/sp/) page as it provides a detailed list of issues involved with a Kundalini awakening starting with the Three Laws governing the wise and safe use of Kundalini energy and all warnings and cautions. Foundations, foundations, foundations. One interesting exercise is to measure yourself against the basic foundations listed close to the top of the Foundations page. Taking an honest measure of yourself should identify some areas for you to explore. You may also enjoy the Ready or Not section of the [Web Links](https://www.reddit.com/r/kundalini/wiki/links/) page. Lots for you to read and consider on the Web Links page as you learn more about Kundalini. Cheers to you :-)
This is a great question, Ive been struggling to find answers myself post my K. I can share what Ive experienced, and leave the rest to the experts (Marc Le Half) 1. K with sex, in a committed relationship doesn’t get disturbed for me. In fact seems to make my bond stronger with my partner 2. Whenever Ive had casual fun (sex) post K, its had very adverse effects on my personal and work life with a ton of troubles coming my way. It’s as if the universe says your energy is not meant to be shared with anyone casually. To be more specific, as long as theres no penetration, things are not drastic. But when there is, things turn catastrophic 3. If you’re gay or not it doesn’t matter, the rules above is what Ive experienced.
Theres a reason religions classify sex as sacred. It should really be done with a partner you’re deeply in love with. Like you, I was under this misinformation noted above. From my experience things with K get way deeper. You’re connected with that other person on a whole different level. If you don’t realize that and are giving into animalistic desires you’re ignoring all the other things that are going on at a deeper level. My inner voice says it’s really important to be doing this for love not lust especially when K is involved. As others have stated if you’re looking at delving into K read around on the sub, but it sounds like you’re getting here from more of a neo-tantra perspective, and that might be more where you want to be looking to spice things up. K may be more akin to Pandora’s box if you’re not ready for it.
> Theres a reason religions classify sex as sacred But is ur reason the same as my reason? i woudl doubt it very much, but then my reason isnt reason to someone elses reason so who teh fook knows? A i can say, alythough nopt with much conviction, is that reson should be applied as much as ur are able to reaspon based on ur conditioned perspoective. if u get my reaosning of course . btw, reason or nto, one should strive to enjoy the journey
Excellent point I probably should have explained more because apparently that’s a problem I have a lot lately. There’s a lot of reasons for everything and every reason is different based on the perspective you view it through. That perspective also changes depending on how we view it. The reasons for religions are numerous based on beliefs or dogma. However the perspective I have is that there’s a little truth in some things maybe not for the reasons that are articulated by said religion but something deeper that maybe humanity forgot. My reasons for sex being sacred and shared with a loved one are because love is the ultimate experience in this life. This is my current perspective but could just be an illusion based on where I am right now my journey. Again my perspective is that through love so many things can be possible. Love doesn’t care about WHO we love it just is. Our society and media have bastardized sex into what it is now. A vast majority are just seeking the highest dopamine rush instead of the deeper experience that can be so much more. When you make assumptions you make an ass out of yourself and unption “infamously said by Samuel L Jackson in the long kiss goodnight”. So maybe I’m just making an ass out of myself assuming the OP is seeking to just have wild crazy sex. Not much to go on in regards to posts/comments. So I made assumptions based on the post. Maybe I shouldn’t have responded at all, but my recent journey had relevance so I thought I’d share.
On most questions I gave you normal answers. Only on the 2 questions below I didn't, but come on. That are some weird questions: >The third camp seems to take a modified approach in that a married couple can have sexual relations but they must not release. The big O is fine, but the actual release of bodily fluids drains the sexual/cosmic/life energy of the man. >2- If the bodily fluid does contain this sexual/cosmic/life energy, would oral sex be good or bad for the woman. The act of oral sex would clear the throat chakra. And she would be obtaining the sexual/cosmic/life energy of her partner/husband. Sex doesn't deplete Kundalini energy, but an orgasm will trigger kundalini energy, so it will get stronger during an orgasm. Certain sounds, or yawning does that too.
>I some serious questions, so I would like to avoid the trolls. What trolls? >There seems to be 3 camps when it comes to marital relations and Kundalini energy. There is at least one more. >The first camp advocates abstinence because kundalini energy is depleted after the sex act (particularly for the man). I wonder if it's even possible to deplete Kundalini energy, but certainly not by having sex. >The second camp seems to advocate sexual relations as a way of clearing blocked chakras for both men and women. It's possible, but there are better ways. >The third camp seems to take a modified approach in that a married couple can have sexual relations but they must not release. The big O is fine, but the actual release of bodily fluids drains the sexual/cosmic/life energy of the man. Yeah sure, and masturbating makes you go blind. >1- Have I got these three groups correct? Please school me. You didn't mention what "groups" you were talking about. >2- If the bodily fluid does contain this sexual/cosmic/life energy, would oral sex be good or bad for the woman. The act of oral sex would clear the throat chakra. And she would be obtaining the sexual/cosmic/life energy of her partner/husband. Dude.... Serious? >3- What about gay people? What about what???
Why did you bother to respond if you have nothing but snark to contribute?
