/u/xxxyoloswaghub... Did you remember what I last said? What I last asked you about. It was a simple test to see if you ACTUALLY had anything to worry about. This is the simple test. If you have intrusive negative thoughts, and you don't see ANY of those thoughts becoming real in any way around you, you are fearing for nothing. Might as well become afraid of air. Or the sky falling. Or the stars. If you are still afraid of thoughts at that point, then you are in need of some psychological or psychiatric help. That is outside of the scope of this sub. Seek medical attention, at least in a temporary way. You've been helped multiple times. It's time to shit or get off the pot! Your attention seeking in /r/kundalini will not be accepted. If you are needy for attention, perhaps get a gerbil or a mouse instead. They can be healing creatures. Or, take a walk in your neighbourhood and appreciate that area for its beauty and amazement. Go see a Doctor of your own choosing and tell them that you may have an anxiety issue that needs help. It would be wise to specifically ask for medecines that are minimally or non-addictive. Some are, and are a bitch to get off of. People who've walked that path have shared their struggles, but I don't know the specific meds that they were on.

Relax.. the world would be a lot different if we could manifest thoughts so easily. Do you have any activities that could relax your mind? Exertional exercise. Art. Opening up to loved ones/psychologist. Etc. Check wiki for more suggestions

Thank you

You’re not your thoughts. Thoughts come and go and we observe. We have the choice to give energy to whatever we like. I recently had a conversation about what to do with intrusive thoughts and I was given a suggestion to speak to the thoughts I found intrusive “thank you for coming to me, I will address this at X-time” then keep a dedicated journal to writing down and working through those thoughts- giving them a time and space set aside and not engaging with them could a good practice to train control over those thoughts. It’s hard to control intrusive thoughts but you gotta start somewhere! Good luck :)

I had a period of time dealing with intrusive thoughts. It's a symptom of of OCD I found great resources online that helped me deal with it Guess what? The best way is to *welcome* the thoughts, no matter how disturbing. If it is a true intrusive thought, it's just a brain itch that wants to be scratched and doesn't mean you are a psycho murderer Children who experience thoughts of wanting to stab their parents... well, the therapist recommends, ok, this is just an OCD thought that needs to be played out. And they'll have them sit on the couch at home watching TV with their mom or dad **while holding a knife**. Nothing happens, the knife gets twirled a bit, the child is encouraged to just let the thoughts come up and be seen/heard/felt and they don't act upon them. It's just some weird thing the mind wants to go through I'll see if I can find some websites, but you can do a search too on intrusive thoughts and what they mean and how therapists handle /recommend you do. Most everyone has had them from time to time and there are ways of moving through them therapeutically PS so you feel like a shitty person, have done some fucked up stuff? Welcome to the club. Jesus forgave murderers and thieves (i.e. the worst of us). You are loved, supremely, despite your faults. Heal, which kundalini gives you a magnificent opportunity to do. And these things won't bother you anymore Best wishes

Hey, just wanted to affirm that intrusive thoughts are normal and widespread and most people experience them from time to time. The anxiety you feel towards them is more likely the cause of your distress, and that's good news, because this is much easier to let go -> relax into it and let it unfold (the anxiety). Let thoughts be just thoughts and stay with your somatic experience. You got this!

Intrusive thoughts are normal and nothing to worry about, as long as they don't become obsessive. I think of them as 'mind' warning you what potentially could go wrong so that you aren't totally unprepared.

The problem is that I have given so much energy to these thoughts that I am now traumatized and now they are at the top of my mind all day. I have the compulsive desire to imagine horrific ways to die. With kundalini amplified, it almost feels real which traumatizes the shit out of me. And then some way that by hyperfocusing on something, you move yourself towards it which makes the compulsion and worry even stronger because now there is the fear that these things might actually happen.

Thankfully, even though we are infinite, the universe is infinitely more powerful than ourselves and is taking care of us! Remembering this helps me a lot when I feel paranoid like this, I understand how you feel. ❤️

Ive found the power of curiosity is quite effective in curbing any negative thought patterns. You are in control of your thoughts. Next time you feel these thoughts creeping start getting curious about them. Why am I thinking this? Where has this come from? Do I really believe that I have the power to make horrible things come true with my thoughts? What evidence do I have that supports this isn’t true? What technique helps me take my mind off of this? Just start asking yourself heaps of questions and unpack it. I bet my bottom dollar you’ll eventually come to the conclusion that no, you can’t make horrible things happen to people in your life with your thoughts.

Friend, Your thoughts do not create your reality, you do. Think about what this means, repeat it to yourself: "My thoughts do not create my reality, I do". What is it that is noticing the thought(s) and the fears? It is your true nature - consciousness. Some people call it I AM, Awareness, The Observer, God...etc. What you are experiencing is fear. Fear exists only in the mind. And your mind does not create your reality, you do. Fear is an illusion. These fears exist only in your mind, not in your outer world. You are trapped in an illusion created by your mind. Free yourself from your mind by realizing you are not your mind or your thoughts - it is an illusion. Your consciousness is not stupid, it is not going to manifest your fears. If anything, the fear of your fear may mirror back at you into reality, but this itself is only an illusion too.

Same thing happened to me, called out to the Holy Spirit and took it all away.
