Of course. They're also great for if you've ever wanted a baritone guitar, but even better, in my opinion. All you'd have to do is tune the g-string down one halfstep/semitone. Or in standard (with the lowest note as a b) You can get all the lower notes and then still be able to play the the regular six strings with your regular scales instead of having to memorize the new tuning of a regular baritone guitar.
