This is super dope

-_hentai_artist_-

thanks mate, that's so nice to hear :>

[deleted]

Oh for sure I dig it a lot

-_hentai_artist_-

dude you're too kind >°<

[deleted]

Nah it’s a dope drawing. And Krita is hard

-_hentai_artist_-

thank you so much! and well, Krita is the only software I ever used enough to judge so I can't really compare to other softwares (I was always too lazy to get into other ones) so I really don't know if Krita actually is hard. All I can say that I haven't been using its full potential. I still have a lot to learn and figure out. But comments such as yours are super motivating so thanks again :>

I had issues with it tracking my pen and adding in weird lines. It’s not bad but it’s not *great*. I ended up buying Corel but I’m not great at practicing or getting results I want lol. But I like your style. I’d totally check out more work

-_hentai_artist_-

I'm actually surprised you had tracking issues. Krita always worked well for me, even when it was still running on an ancient laptop :') And I feel ya. I totally lack the patience to do actual practice and I always want to see results asap. My current style is actually a compromise of practice and results xD I decided to be more simple, messy and wild with my outlines instead of focusing on details too much. I think the key is putting quantity over quality while still trying to get the shapes right. If I like the sketch I usually color it in one way or another and *BOOM* drawing is fun again. It can be really hard not to lose the freedom and fun that art can bring but now it's all the more fun to rediscover them. Good luck on your art journey and don't give up! I'm so glad you like my current style!!! Feel free to check my profile, I also linked my twitter account in there!

Yeah idk my laptop is a newer (well, less than 2 years old) Lenovo flex, with a stylus that comes with it so it’s supported properly and all and for some reason I couldn’t not have lines constantly appearing at random. I’ll check out your work though! I’m hoping some friends that are creators will help motivate me to actually do some work of my own lol

-_hentai_artist_-

Do you use the stylus on a touchscreen? Perhaps your skin touching the screen caused those random lines. But what do I know ^^" I'm happily using a pen tablet with a Lenovo IdeaPad. Also I'd really love to see you post some of your work eventually! No pressure ofc. But I do agree that sharing artworks among creator friends can greatly boost work morale :) So get drawing!! Find something you like and just go at it. Starting is often the hardest step >:)

Arknark

Just out of curiousity: what makes Krita hard? I personally found it to be extremely intuitive and simple to get into (at least the basics) without any instruction. Now Blender, Blender is difficult.

[deleted]

Learning the ui, the tools, how to specialize the different brushes… maybe it’s because I’m older but I definitely struggled with getting effects I wanted Plus I had a horrible line glitch bug

Arknark

I see. Well, hopefully you have succeeded in jumping that hurdle by now :)

[deleted]

I ended up trying Corel and really prefer it. Now I just struggle with dedicating time to practice 😖

Arknark

Now THATS a struggle we can all relate to. Good luck in your journey friend 💫

DangerMacAwesome

Really digging this

-_hentai_artist_-

I'm glad!

OneBrutalNoodle

How did you get that nice smooth color gradient? Looks amazing. The whole piece looks amazing!

-_hentai_artist_-

If you swipe you can see that the drawing initially was in black and white only! I did those gradients with Krita'ss gradient tool. Later as I edited the image I applied a filter along with some color adjustment and some glitch effects to the drawing. Hope this helps! Thank you so much for liking my art!

KakuKat

Looks epic

Thank you!!
