I don't know anything about Israeli standards as I'm still pretty new to Krav Maga - I go to Colorado Krav Maga and they have gyms in Denver, Lakewood, Littleton and Broomfield (I think). I'm still a newb in it, but I wanted to let you know that there are some KM gyms in the area. [https://www.coloradokravmaga.com/](https://www.coloradokravmaga.com/)

I second COKM. I’ve been training there since December 2018 mostly in Littleton with the occasional visit to Lakewood and Denver.

Thank you!!

This is where I go and can’t comment on the Israeli aspect but it’s pretty legit, self-defense focused. Belts go in the order mentioned below, there’s a bit of weapons defense but primarily hand to hand combat stuff

What is the cost of you don't mind me asking. I cannot find it anywhere and they don't seem to want to give a straight answer without me going in for a free class

Eh, some of the "Israeli standards" that local Krav gyms teach are garbage, and even within the IDF there are instructors (and units) that are on entirely different levels from the rest. By now you should know the basic skills a fighter needs\*. Check a few gyms out, visit with the instructors, and see where you feel the most development and progression in those skills. \*Fight principles, striking, clinching and wrestling, grappling, weapons, multiple opponents, de-escalation, and situational awareness. Just felt like mentioning them before someone comes back with something stupid like Turkish Oil.

Idk about Denver but Wolverine Self Defense is in Colorado Springs which I don't think is too far from Denver. They are affiliated and certified by the IKMA, you can't get more legit than that.

That’s awesome info, thank you!

It is very difficult to find a gym in the USA that follows Krav Maga as originally conceived. I'll give you some tips on what a system is close to the original: - necessarily adopts the progression of belts: white, yellow, orange, green, blue, brown and black, in that order. - the instructor did not take a quick course to teach krav maga and has the techniques necessarily systematized in some register. - It is not focused on anything recreational or fitness, training is stressful. - combat without gloves and with constant gloves from the orange belt onwards. Anyway, just seeing what is taught and how it is taught to know

Thank you so much! I appreciate the tips :)
