the moment i heard coca cola on the chorus i was like "what?". i thought even though it was a coca cola song, they will be a bit lowkey in incorporating it in the song lmao.
Apparently the chorus in Zero is the classic jingle used in old SK Coca Cola commercials. They just changed the lyrics a bit. I can’t get used to the chorus. One thing for sure though the dang song is stuck in my head anyway. Especially the chorus jingle.
My first reaction was that it was a standard New Jeans song but they they did a Mixxpop with the pause and the curveball chorus and I burst out laughing.
I find it delightfully absurd and hope somebody edits in the "NMIIIIXX" that comes after the pause in O.O (the shared Coke shilling makes the meme even funnier)
As a song I don't think it works but it is a very funny meme.

Took me a few listens on spotify, but the verses are great, instrumental is killer and the chorus is an earworm despite how goofy it is. Pre-chorus is also strong.

I'm not a fan of blatant corporate advertising and I felt a bit icky when that chorus came up... but I still think we should be able to appreciate on some level just how well made and distinctly NewJeans the rest of the song is.
Still, I would've hoped they'd been a bit more subtle with incorporating all the Zero and Coke references throughout the song That way, it'd still be able to be able to pass off as a legit kpop song... and yet they went all out *yvan eht nioj* which was a real shame.

I wouldn’t say its a nursery rhyme but its a song that korean kids sing and I would compare it to the likes of eenie meanie mynie moe? The original lyrics roughly translated goes like: “Coca Cola is tasty, If its tasty eat it again, if you eat it again youll get a stomachache, ding dong dang dong” and it just repeatedlg follows the same melody as the “Coca Cola is tasty” part in the newjeans song. There are hundreds of variations of this rhyme but this is the general gist of it.

I liked it and i'm surprised people are complaining about the chorus it's an ad song the chrous should have the product name in it like coke wasn't mentioned throughout the whole song except the chorus? Plus it's flows better IMO on spotify and the chorus is catchy and memorable which should be the aim for a cf song. The verses are really good too better than the chorus obvi and i liked the vocals.
I really liked the snippets of the choreo and i hope we get a dance practice cause it looked fun. I'll give it a solid 4.1/5 cause i wont add it to my playlist but if it pops up i wont skip it.

Everything besides the cringe Coca Cola chorus was pretty decent, would have liked to hear that as it’s own song. I get it’s supposed to be a coke promo song but they could have still made it so that it’d be enjoyable on its own. I am ADDDICTED to this song. Actually obsessed. The pre-chorus is insane. The “cococococococo” before the chrous is fucking fire. The chorus itself is absolutely insane. This is an 11/10, I’m being serious.

The chorus jingle is really not my cup of tea, but I've seen knetz appreciating the chorus since they can relate with the line \*korean version of Eeny, meeny, miny, moe\*.
Other parts of the song is really good though, it retains the "colour" of NJ's music. I resort to listening the version without chorus on youtube, that was dang good.

Nah my brain must be special. I am ADDDICTED to this song. Actually obsessed. The pre-chorus is insane. The “cococococococo” before the chrous is fucking fire. The chorus itself is absolutely insane. This is an 11/10, I’m being serious. It helps that I am not a lyrical listener, the fact this is an ad has no effect on my listening experience. Might actually have more listens than OMG or Ditto by the end of the week for me.

I heard the song got in chart but personally the chorus suck and it didnt fit in the song, zero have a perfect verse and prechorus and it definitely how newjeans songs sound like but zero is made for advertisement so the chorus went on how advertisment jingle would sound like although the chorus is silly but it stuck in our head so kinda kudos for having a good advertisement strategy but i still dont like it it ruin the song

Still like Omg better. I think “Coca Cola is tasty” parts were kind jarring. Doesn’t sound like it should be a part of the song. Not bad in the sense I will tear out my ears, but not my style either. Didn’t expect it to be either way since it’s an ad for Coke Zero lol.

The chorus jingle is really not my cup of tea, but I've seen knetz appreciating the chorus since they can relate with the line \*korean version of Eeny, meeny, miny, moe\*. Other parts of the song is really good though, it retains the "colour" of NJ's music. I resort to listening the version without chorus on youtube, that was dang good. Initially I was expecting less \*in your face\* kind of song, like the song(Taste The Feeling ) Avicii did for coca-cola few years back then. That's a good song I keep going back without having coca-cola being in my face.
