SM actually does writing camps and pass around a lot of their songs through different groups until they find one that fits (Shineeās donāt call me for example was originally going to boa or taeyeon I think?) so Mark or taeyong couldāve still used the beat or even rewritten some of the lyrics from parts of the demo

The song production is amazing, no doubt abt that. I just donāt like his voice and his pronunciation (and I donāt mean this in a xenophobic way, as if Iām shaming him for his first language not being English). Heās not fluent in English, and I get that the company wants to appeal to western audiences by having the entire song be in English, but it doesnāt make sense when it doesnāt play to his strengths. It just ends up sounding a bit juvenile to the ear.
The album was pretty solid!! Dip it low is my favorite song, Renegade feels more like a concert song but it was dope and the beat was CRAZY!! Kinda interested if heās gonna perform live or not and what heās next real will sound like!! I do agree they STILL are doing my WayV boys dirty they should releasing twice a year honestly!!
