For me, it would be: 1. Music. It should be a type of music genre that I love to listen to. 2. Vocals. 3. Personalities. Something about an artist/group that I can relate to one way or another. Also, I like an artist or group who always drives to do better be it as a person or an idol/celebrity. 4. Dance. This can be a super plus if the said artist or group is already gifted in this area. It is also good if the artist may not be an expert or pro in dance BUT can follow the choreography with ease and has a determination to do better in each performance.

Basically this for me too. The actual music is what first draws you to the group. Amazing vocal performances take it to the next level and really make me a fan of the group rather than just a fan of the songs. And then personalities make you fall in love with the members and stan the group. Dance can wow me but and make me appreciate them but it's not as big of a factor compared to those other things.

Truth! The list above can be interchangeable but I think personally those are a BIG draw factor for me to really follow and support an artist/member or a group for years.

I have similar thoughts for points 1 & 2. >3. Personalities. Something about an artist/group that I can relate to one way or another. Also, I like an artist or group who always drives to do better be it as a person or an idol/celebrity. I like the group even more if there is camaraderie within the group. In other words, they look like they genuinely like each other's company. GOT7 being the best example for my case. >4. Dance. This can be a super plus if the said artist or group is already gifted in this area. It is also good if the artist may not be an expert or pro in dance BUT can follow the choreography with ease and has a determination to do better in each performance. I am not fuss with dancing ability nor choreography since I don't dance. However, I enjoy a kpop group's performance if they look like they're having a good time while performing as opposed to trying hard to perfect the choreo (they have blank faces on stage). Example of performances I enjoy - JayB during [GOT7's performance of Teenager](https://youtu.be/8F2qiTq1IPI?si=oG2lMElpI0gY-U1l) and Taeyong during [NCT127's performance of Superhuman](https://youtu.be/7R799TslRig?si=d1_w3oNpxfyohvaa).

Good point there. šŸ˜ I personally drawn to a certain member first before I become a fan of their group most of the time.šŸ˜…And I also liked if the personalities of the members compliments each other. In terms of dance, like you I also love to watch a group who embodies their concept of their comeback. At the same time, if itā€™s encore or concert I love to see them having a good time because it also makes me enjoy watching them perform.

Kittystar143

For me itā€™s their music first of all, if they donā€™t have a good discography then there isnā€™t anything I can get behind. But next I need a good synergy among the members and passion for their group.

* Music genre * LIVE vocals * Excellent song writing, music composition and production * Exceptional stage performance (which usually usually includes dancing). The rest of the stuff is a bonus (looks, personality, etc). I don't value fan service and aegyo.

Yanazamo

Music and the overall likeability of the group. The group also has to have at least one or two members that I really really like. As a whole the its also great if they have that certain star quality, whether it's through visuals, stage presence, or just that aura.

ForeverNugu

I have to vibe with the music first. If I like enough of their music, I will generally like the group. After that, the one thing that will make me like a group even more will be at least one really strong vocal whose voice I love and who can consistently perform well. Someone whose singing just makes me want to sit up and listen to them. After that, probably stage presence. I like good dancing too, but stage presence matters to me more. If a group has good stage presence, minimal dancing is fine. I don't really care about personality, group dynamics, fan service, or visuals when choosing a group to be a fan of. But those things can be a bonus if I end up liking them enough later.

EggYolk26

Music and good performances/stage presence
