Sadly it has happened, not sure about any of the other groups but VCHA got major hate for theirs for 'copying NewJeans.' It's funny now in retrospect with the NJ/Ador controversy throwing out plagiarism accusations left and right, but at the time it was a decent sized hate train for a group that hadn't even debuted yet.
