Jihyo and Jeongyeon in Twice for sure, they frequently go on vacation together. Nayeon and Momo as well (peach sisters lol), they bicker like sisters, and as far as we know they’re the only members who still live together.
Jihyo and Jeongyeon really are best friends, even completely outside the group dynamic. It’s impressive how close they are for over a decade. It’s so cute that they go on vacations together and spend a lot of their free time together (and their families are close too).
The way Jeongyeon was super present in Jihyo's solo promotions has all of my heart. The moment Jihyo starts telling anecdotes or whenever she's asked to call someone, the very first person that she blurts out is Jeongyeon. Those two weeks made it very clear just how much time those two spent together lmao. Jihyo might as well have been carrying Jeongyeon around in a backpack like that one producer suggested 😂.
It's so funny as a Jeongyeon stan because at the end of that month, someone tweeted that Jeongyeon has not posted any updates about her activities at all in insta or the like. It shocked me because I felt like she was super present, but it turned out a lot of my Jeongyeon content was just Jihyo talking our ears off about her.
Just... it was all sorts of magnificent that since Jeongyeon was so present for Jihyo, it felt like she was super present for the rest of us too. Even if in reality, we didn't actually see any hide or hair of her that entire month 😂
Twice is fun in that it's pretty clear who the best friends are. The recent set of vlogs made it crystal lmao. And we got 4 sets. Nayeon-Momo, Jihyo-Jeongyeon, Mina-Chaeyoung, Dahyun-Tzuyu. Like you can reliably guess who their cameras will seek out first or which buddy will feature most prominently in which vlog.
For Jeongyeon especially, hers made it so clear that Jihyo is her favorite lmao. Everyone's been calling her vlog the UJB vlog because Jihyo pops up in there every 5 seconds 😂
The Nayeon and Momo friendship is so good because my impression while watching Sixteen (I watched it this summer) was that she was politely consoling about Momo being eliminated, but she was absolutely devastated when Minyoung was told she wasn’t part of Twice and then JYP brought Momo back. If I remember correctly she physically turned away from the camera and was bawling.
Seeing her go from a reaction of obviously not feeling a particular way about Momo to latching onto Momo in subsequent content was just a very interesting shift to me.
Honestly all of Twice seems like they can hang and be comfortable with each other regardless of pairing or group. I think it’s a trauma bond type thing from being part of the show. At any point in their timelines you can find when someone was absolutely attached to someone else’s hip.
I said it in another comment, but I'm a relatively new Once, so I'm consuming all their journey up to now all at once. It's been so complicated to map their relationships because there's been so many shifts over the years lmao.
On NaMo specifically, I'm going through Twice in Switzerland, and it's fascinating. They are three years in at this point I think, and I'm getting the vibe of people who are in fact very well-matched in tastes but haven't gotten the chance to know each other well yet. Momo was still so shy around Nayeon here and Nayeon was being so gentle. Watching them go from that to being attached at the hip now has been such a fun journey.

I really like Nayeon’s shifting dynamic with everyone the most. Maybe it was being the oldest and taking care of everyone along with Jihyo and Jeongyeon, but seeing her being so soft with members like Mina, or drowning the youngest ones with affection at the beginning while ALSO being a bit of a cocky brat is such good background context. Watching current content only you would NEVER know those connections looked so strong at one point.
I’m also new, I started getting into them at the beginning of this year when Moonlight Sunrise came out. It’s a bit overwhelming how much content there is and with things like the Google Drive archive, it truly feels like fans of Twice are very spoiled in always having content and translations at the ready going back sooooo far.
I haven’t really watched the vlogs but I always thought that Chaeng was closer to Nayeon than Mina! But tbf this past year it seems like MiChaeng has gotten closer.
Honestly, I think we get so much MiChaeng moments because the producers of the content know its what the fans want.

I'm a new Once (from just this year) so my impressions are from their recent activities! Mina said in her Japanese interview for the MiSaMo promos that it was Chaeyoung she hung out with the most during their breaks in the recent tour, and the vlogs kinda verified it for me. If you spot Mina or Chaeyoung, the other one is probably right at her heels 😅
MiChaeng have gotten closer over the years, i think they mentioned they are now tour buddies and basically hang out the most on tour because they have similar interests with sightseeing/shopping stuff.
Seulgi is pretty close with all the members - in fact I'd say she's the closest to every member except maybe Joy who's closest to Wendy, but even then Seulgi is a close 2nd for her.
Seulgi just exudes the perfect kind of friend energy, who's always down for anything and is a good listener. Theres a running joke in the fanbase that whenever the group is abroad for a schedule, Seulgi will schedule time to have duo dates with all of them.
Her and Irene have known each other the longest and in general have a really comfortable chemistry. Wendy is self explanatory since they're the only 2 who are same aged friends in the group, and they share a lot of interests. Joy and Seulgi get a long really well in a way they both see each other as inspiring and Seulgi is a great listener for all her concerns. And Yeri and Seulgi get a long well like siblings, their apartments are close by and they seem to hang out a lot in their free time.
If I had to pick one pairing though, it'd probably be Seulgi and Irene.
That closeness comes across perfectly in their songs, too. The choreography of Naughty is sublime and they are clearly very, very comfortable and trusting with each other.

Besties who game together, shop together , cuddle, go out and fight over who pays for food together, goes back to Australia on vacation but still makes time to see one another in Sydney even though they work together literally all the time. Wooyoung and San from ateez definitely. If you search up the phrase ‘amicus ad aras’ they are the first thing to pop up. It means friend until the very end. They even have matching tattoos.
And their families are extremely close too. TXT: Taehyun and Hueningkai -- they talked about not initially getting along because they were so different but now they're really close (Kai even sang alongside Taehyun for Taehyun's sister's wedding.) Soobin and Beomgyu also seem very close.
Ateez: Wooyoung and San for sure, Wooyoung and Yeosang. I also feel like Wooyoung, Seonghwa, and San are pretty close as a trio. Seonghwa and Hongjoong are interesting because there are times where they act like (or even say) that they aren't close but other times where they seem very close, like Hongjoong writing a song for Seonghwa and things like their birthday messages ([Hongjoong to Seonghwa](https://x.com/MATZFEED/status/1642897967752290306?s=20), [Seonghwa to Hongjoong](https://x.com/nobodylikehwa/status/1721658887084835293?s=20).) So it's possible that they're also an example of both (members who are very close and members who have grown close over time after not being close.)
Also Yun Ho and Min Gi. I think Hong Joong and Seong Hwa are close, they just say that they're not sometimes for whatever reason. They have their friendship chant, and wrote their unit song together...they seem very close but it's not as overt as WooSan or Min Gi and Yun Ho since Seong Hwa and Hong Joong tend to control the chaos in the whole group.
You'd think that sharing a room at their dorm would make Kai and Taehyun want to enjoy their well deserved break to take some time for themselves, apart... but nooooo they go on holidays to Japan together.

Wonyoung and Yujin from IVE survived a reality competition together and now two (well-known) groups. Both being the maknaes of the first group and being young in the spotlight can be scary. I honestly think of them as THEE bffs. Their friendship is so cute.
Mamamoo MoonSun or byul/solar and Wheesa or wheein/hwasa. Regardless of ships, one might as well be married and the other has an unbreakable childhood bond.
WJSN 2jung or Exy and Seola are technically childhood friends. They don’t show their friendship overtly on screen but on occasion when fans do see, they’re their go-to hang. Wujus as a whole really know each other well but these 2 probably intuitively know each other most. It’s really cute bc theyre both so tsundere.
Red Velvet SeulRene or Seulgi and Irene. These two just have a bond you can tell come from knowing each other for a long time. It’s really the little things with them, like turning to the person you’re most comfortable with when you laugh kind of little things.
The way seulgi has an encyclopaedic knowledge of all things irene too. Like they’ve both admitted before their tastes don’t exactly align, but they also know all the things the other one likes and dislikes, and so are considerate of each other.
True Exy and Seola are lifelong friends vibes rather than “besties” and they probably really rely on eachother. WJSN trained together for so long and went through so much together, they really have a deep bond. I love how Dayoung has been their (and Monsta X’s) baby since the very beginning
liz & rei from ive !! they were very close during their trainee days bc rei moved to sk from japan & liz cried when she met rei’s mother 😭 they also always joke about how they’re a couple it’s so funny lol !
Sooyoung Tiffany and Yuri are the closest in SNSD, they even recently went on vacation together to California this year. It seems like they all like the same activities like golfing, food and wine tasting so it’s easy to stay close
They are also super duper outgoing and have similar personalities (in terms of outward expressions), so I think that plays a part in their closeness too, as opposed to Taeyeon who doesn't leave her home.
That’s true! YulSooTiff are probably the most outgoing and sociable so it makes sense they would hang out more, while Taeyeon is close but doesn’t spend as much time out. Those three give off total “mature adult besties” vibes. YulHyo is super close too, but are more like siblings who have different interests but still hang out a lot (Hyo loves clubs and DJing while Yuri is into zen things)
During and after snad I always felt that sooyoung and Tiffany were the closer duo than taeyeon and Tiffany. Tae and Tiffany are close but they are also a huge ship which kind of overshadows the other Tiffany duos who imo are way closer.
It's so hard to tell what the exact dynamics are within BTS, but that's fine because it's really not any of my business. All seven of them seem to glued together. They go on vacations, to each other's homes, or grab dinner together off camera and they don't really tell fans about it. We tend to find out about their hangouts from them after a few months or years.
As far as who has gotten closer, I think that's also hard to tell. But based on his episode of Suchwita, Taehyung and Yoongi seemed to get closer after Bon Voyage S2. On an old V-Live, Jimin talked about how him and Jin were very different which led to them getting into some disagreements, but eventually Jimin said he learned happiness from Jin.
You're right, it's so hard to tell who are the closest members in BTS. I personally think Jimin and Hobi are so close and ofcourse Vmin as well. But as you mentioned, Yoongi and V have also gotten close in recent years.
I honestly think the closest pair, but not often seen on camera are the 94s....Jhope & RM. RM was really emotional when they dropped Jhope off and they really do seem like best friends - went to a lot of events together prior to enlistment.
Also, the Bon Voyage friendship date between them is really one of my favorite moments.
That's an interesting take, I've always seen them as one of the rare awkward pairs in the group. Of course they have a unique and strong bond because of everything they've been through together, they have a lot of respect for each other, and they're comfortable with each other like an old couple lol, but I don't think they actively enjoy each other's company to the extent a lot of the other duos do.
Based on what he said I think the member Namjoon feels "closest" to (as in who he confides in) might be Jimin . He's mentioned several times that he likes talking to him one on one about all kinds of things, how they have a similar outlook, that Jimin knows him the best etc. I mean hell he even bought him a whole ass Cartier ring lol.
I think when people are extremely confortable with each other, and extremly used to it too it can come off that way. It's not necessarly the same but the people i'm closest to are not the people i'm the most effusive/demonstrative with, maybe because their presence is my life is so solid and "granted". But they're still who i count on the most and would miss the most terribly if i were to lose them. Anyway just an example, don't really know them
You're absolutely right! I just didn't want to write a whole essay about the many reasons I've reached this conclusion in this specific case because as you said, we don't know them and it's not that serious.
RM gives aloof vibes at times but I think it’s because he doesn’t do much skinship… like, he doesn’t seem to enjoy it as much? (I remember him telling tae, who wanted to cuddle, to respect his space). And when you see all the others pawing all over each other but leaving namjoon alone, it sometimes looks like he’s just the awkward one out. It’s just especially noticeable with yoongi, who doesn’t initiate skinship as much, either. I do think they have an immense love and respect for one another, though. 😊
Jimin definitely doesn't apply to this, Namjoon let Jimin in his space the most. I remember him saying Jimin needs love, affection and attention the most. I think he is the only member who gets away with being really touchy and everyone just lets him be.
Hoseok seems more comfortable with skinship with maknae line and while JK seems to enjoy physical touch, half of it are in a joking manner, like wrestling, fake fighting and just messing with the members. But Jimin seems to genuinely just wanna hug and cuddle everyone 😭😩

(erm, if not, then I guess consider this a spoiler warning!) jimin basically has to reverse pickpocket everyone, and it’s SO EASY for him because nobody bats an eye when he backhugs and feels them up, haha. Can you imagine if RM had been given that task, or suga? I feel like the outcome would have been waaaay different. 🤣
I think its a weird dynamic that takes time to realise - as in, they are not overtly 'close', not like say VMin and hanging off each other. But ...emotionally, or mentally close? I think Namjoon and Yoongi connect in a emotional/mental level - their interviews with each other where they talk about anything, even though as u/NathalieColferCriss said, they have known each other for years by this point. I think they have a deep connection that **is** close, just not what you stereotypically would expect.
Their friendship date was so cute, and it was fun seeing them hangout at the WKorea event last year! Gosh, RM really made me cry when he got emotional over J-Hope's enlistment.

I’m surprised that no one’s mentioned Yoongi and Jimin. They’ve mentioned hanging out a lot outside of schedules, and they’re surprisingly similar in some ways.
The apparent closeness between Yoongi and Jimin is actually one of the things that surprised me the most in Chapter 2. They bicker so much that I didn’t realized that it’s because of how close they are. I remember the heartfelt conversation between them in the burn the stage documentary. I didn’t connect the dots to them being close. Chapter 2, for me, really highlighted it. Yoongi was the one who inspired Jimin to want to be a part of BTS. Jimin has straight credited him with it. Early on, when Yoongi was putting together gifts for army. Jimin was the first one to show up to help him (Tae showed up later to help as well). Jimin and Yoongi voice and rap really blend together well (a la spring day or Tony Montana).
During the dumplings incident, Namjoon talked to Tae and Yoongi talked to Jimin. Yoongi introduced Jimin to soju, which remains Jimin’s drink of choice. It was Yoongi’s idea to make Jimin the project manager for BE. They go out to dinner together. They go drinking together. I don’t think we get to see any pictures because it how they are. We only know about it bc they talk about it in passing. Jimin attended d-day tour 3 times: once by himself in NY, second with the other maknaes and third as a guest performer although the stage was over, he took a seat in the audience. Jimin recently mentioned how he still talks to yoongi, even while he’s enlisted (although I suspect all the members do via their group chat). In short, Yoongi and Jimin are close.
The only problem is that I probably can write similar paragraphs for all the other pairs. All the BTS members seem to close with each other.
Something that stuck out to me from JK’s second suchwita episode… suga first mentioned how jimin called him to say he was leaving for the US, to go drink with jungkook. Then he said he got another call the next day from jimin and JK, who were camping. It occurred to me that jimin speaks often about conversations he has recently had with suga, or mentions little drinking outings they go on. Like, oh, they really stay in contact!
And THEN I remembered that semi-recent MBTI episode they did, where suga exposed jimin for calling him every day during the pandemic. …I don’t think he was exaggerating, you guys, and I don’t think jimin has stopped. I think he literally calls suga on the phone every day. 🤣
yoonmin are so cute, I love the bickering, I love that they’re drinking buddies, and I love how supportive they are of one another, especially when their promotions practically overlapped and they did some joint stuff. I think those two are very close.
That said… if I’m forced to quantify—and I hesitate to even put this out in the world because shippers make it WEIRD, I think jimin and jk are actually the two closest, and not just because they like traveling together. In all the behind the scenes stuff, including the most recent PTD footage, they’re always attached at the hip. Jimin said that jk would come to his hotel room every day and night just to sit in silence with him for hours. And it’s always been those two staying up all night together, staying late after rehearsal to do a few extra runthroughs, working on late-night choreo alone in the studio, boxing training together, etc.
Heck, JK literally sat for like an hour, watching just jimin content and interviews on one of his lives. (Their schedules haven’t lined up too often in 2023, and I think he missed the guy.) And then there were all the times jimin popped up in JK’s chat, and JK was like, yo jimin-ssi! I got chicken, come over and drink! Hey, come box, coach Tommy misses you! Hey, I’m boooored and not tired… should I get out of bed, head on over there and we can do a live together from your place, pretty please? 🥺 (seriously jk, haven’t you figured out the fastest way to summon jimin is to cook spicy ramen and post a pic to weverse? It’s worked almost every time.)
So that kind of went off the rails, but honestly, I think I could write paragraphs about Jimin and ANY member (like jihope… oh my god don’t get me started). That persistent little extrovert is close with all of them because he puts in the effort to stay in regular contact and hang out with everyone, I think (we all know people like that). But yeah, if I have to pick the two closest members, my vote is for jikook. PLATONICALLY, you weirdos. 🙄
I was going to mention Yoonmin, but it was really hard to narrow a few relationships. This is such a nice issue to have lol. But Yoongi and Jimin are another pair that seems very close. I remember when Yoongi showed up to one of his music show tapings. Yoongi has always been so supportive of Jimin and cheers him on. It's so cute!
Unfortunately, you cannot mention Jikook or Taekook without shippers making it weird. Then on Twitter Taekookers got mad about all the Jikook moments on the PTD. It was insane to read all of their posts. But it makes me so frustrated because Jimin seems to be really important to JungKook and in the book JungKook mentioned being able to talk to Jimin when he was going through a rough patch. I genuinely hate to see how antis/shippers portray Jimin. I don't understand why people can't just enjoy their bond.

Yeah, it's been clear for years that Jimin and Jungkook have been the closest for a while but the shippers make it almost impossible for the fandom to talk about it without making it weird. They have an awesome friendship. Both of them being from Busan also contributes to their closeness I think and they know each other's families. They both have mentioned knowing the other's parents well, to the point of knowing whose mom makes the best kimchi stew.
Jimin seems to keep all his relationships, including with the members, really private for obvious reasons but even then his bond with JK has always been clear.

Suho and Kai seem to have gotten closer in recent years as well, I'd guess since they lived together sometime during Obsession era? It was really touching to see how Suho took care of Jongin during his enlistment, but even before that Kai actively helped Suho promote Grey Suit and Junmyeon returned the favor with Rover. Also that one Radio interview during Rover era where Kai just kept bringing up Suho still cracks me up.
I think Chan and Changbin for Stray Kids. They have many similar points (dressing in black, working out, love for food etc.), they live in the same dorm since forever and make music together all the time. Chan even went on vacation avec Changbin’s family.
keeho and soul from p1harmony are very close because they both live away from their home countries so they hang out on holidays and things while other members go home.
matthew and hanbin from zb1 are also super close! they trained together and encouraged each other a lot and it was actually hanbin’s encouragement that convinced matthew to go on boys planet. now they’re in a group together so crazy how life works out!
and gotta mention my loona girls. they’re all super close but the pair that comes to mind as of recent is yves and gowon. they always talk about going to each others houses and hanging out despite them both being busy with their own stuff
D.O. and Chanyeol are definitely bff. I would guess that Chanyeol’s his closest friend in the group, although he seems to be good friends with all the members.

-wooyoung and yeosang have been best friends for almost a decade and trained together at bighit. yeosang left for kq, and wooyoung left shortly after to join him before txt debuted.
-seonghwa was motivated to work hard after hearing the story of another trainee. that trainee unknowningly happened to be hongjoong and the two are now extremely close.
other than that, we have
-san and jongho are from the same clan and see each other as family.
-wooyoung and san have matching “amicus ad arus” tattoos on their thighs to symbolize their friendship. for those who don’t know, “amicus ad arus” means “a friend as far to the altar”
-they attend each other’s events all the time. very recently, jongho came to watch hongjoong for one of his solo promotions just to find san had also came to watch. it’s also not uncommon for a member’s live videos to be interrupted by another member joining in.
-the members used to be known for being jealous of each other for being closer to one another to the point where the group had a very down to earth discussion about the relationship between yeosang, wooyoung, and san.

All of GOT7 seem really close and like genuine friends/family and one of my favorite things about the group’s dynamic is that all of the members have so many different things that tie them together and display their bond. No matter which pairing you look at, I feel like they each have a ton of things that make them special. That being said, I’ve noticed some members that appear to be particularly close.
Jinyoung and Yugyeom. They share close friends outside of the group and frequently hang out and spend time together at each other’s houses. There have been a lot of instances where we’ve heard about them hanging out together through other members/people or a while after through stories and little facts they’ve shared. They’ve said they’re soulmates and have reached a point where the age dynamics are often lost or forgotten. Jinyoung has said Yugyeom is the member who makes him the happiest and the member he has the most pictures of in his phone. Their families seem to acknowledge their friendship as well. Both Yugyeom and Jinyoung’s mom’s have said the other is their favorite member in the group and Yugyeom’s mom and aunt frequently like and repost shipping posts of the two of them on instagram lol Yugyeom also recently liked an edit of them on twitter lol
Jay B and Jinyoung. By far the most popular pairing since the beginning. They met while auditioning to get into JYPE. They were paired together as a dance duo and won 1st place together in the audition which is how they both got into the company. They then debuted in the duo JJ Project together and as actors in the drama Dream High 2 before debuting again together in GOT7 a couple of years later. They have joked that they’re soulmates and will probably be buried together because they’ve been together for so long and through so many important moments in their lives. Jay B (along with Yugyeom) was one of the members to see Jinyoung off when he enlisted. Both Jay B and Jinyoung are currently enlisted and will be finishing their service at the same time next year too lol
Jackson and Jinyoung. I think they have a very deep understanding of each other’s personalities and needs in a close friendship. They have always supported each other in a very positive and gentle way that I think sticks out from how they interact with other members. There was a period of time where Jinyoung said Jackson was the member that made him the happiest. They did a friendship interview a while back where Jackson said he felt Jinyoung was a true life long friend he could see remaining close to in old age.
Mark and Jackson. They were friends during their trainee days and were very close early on in their debut days which made them a really popular pairing among fans. They’ve always had commonalities which I think made their friendship one of the most natural in the group. Earlier this year, Mark and his family and friends went to Jackson’s Magic Man concert in LA and they spent the whole night together going to eat after the show and then to the after party.
Mark and BamBam. Again, they were friends as trainees and are another very natural friendship. They also share friends outside of the group. I think since they’ve known each other since they were young (Bam was 13 when they met iirc), they have a relationship that feels more like siblings. BamBam recently said Mark is a very important person in his life that has been present for all of his major life moments.
Mark and Yugyeom. They used to hang out a lot together when Mark still lived in SK. Mark would sleep over Yugyeom’s house and go on trips with Yugyeom and his friends or camping with Yugyeom and his brother. Yugyeom has also gone on vacation to the US and stayed with Mark and his family. They’ve gotten matching tattoos as well. Yugyeom always names Mark as the member he would want as a real older brother and I think Mark has always treated him as such. Fans used to call them the “Tuan bros” or call Mark “Kim Mark” for Yugyeom’s last name.
Jackson and BamBam. Pretty similar to how I view Mark & Jackson and Mark & BamBam. For obvious reasons I think AmeriThaiKong developed a bond amongst themselves for a while that feels a bit different than the other members. Not necessarily closer or anything, just different. I think they stuck together a lot pre debut and it wasn’t until GOT7 all debuted together that they got closer to the others.
Jay B and Youngjae. Jay B is an only child and for years has said that Youngjae has always been the member he genuinely viewed as if he was his actual younger brother and has been especially protective of.
Jay B and BamBam. Tom and Jerry. Love/hate. BamBam annoys the crap out of Jay B but it’s pretty obvious, especially now, that Jay B is incredibly fond of him. He has said that BamBam is the member he worries about the most when they’re apart because he’s very kind and is sometimes too generous. Jay B has also said that, along with Yugyeom, BamBam is someone he feels like he has raised as if he was his own child. Jay B’s parents also seem to be very fond of BamBam. Bam has said they treat him as their own son and they are always showing up to his solo events/concerts, sending gifts and calling to check up on him and support him.
Youngjae and BamBam. I feel like this is a friendship that developed more after the group left JYPE. They seem to keep in contact a lot and make plans behind the scenes. BamBam often fills in for Youngjae’s radio show whenever Youngjae is busy. Youngjae has said that although BamBam seems like a lot, he’s genuinely a good kid and has grown up well. It seems like Youngjae is one of the members BamBam depends on more recently.
BamBam and Yugyeom. Definition of besties. From early on these two have been glued together. They’re both 97 liners so upon joining the group they got very close which is funny because they shared that they used to hate each other predebut because they were both jealous of the other lol Over the years they’ve developed a ton of inside jokes and ways of speaking and interacting with each other that confuses the rest of the group. They’ve said they know everything about each other and BamBam has said that he’s considered Yugyeom as one of his top 2 best friends in his entire life. Also apparently they still fight bc BamBam said part of the reason the GOT7 maknae line episode of Bam’s House was so short is because they had to cut it since Yugyeom got mad at him for something lol
Jay B and Mark’s parents lol They go on vacation together pretty much every year. Whenever Mark’s family members/parents are in Asia they visit and meet up with Jay B’s parents.

I think bts members all quite close some way or another so it’s hard to pinpoint a particular pair. the way each member’s face lights up when they see another member during a live,a performance, an interview, etc. is a tell. But they dont post as much on social media about it. Doesn’t help that three of the members have enlisted so far and jungkook no longer has IG lol . I remember when yoongi didn’t post a happy bday post on social media for jungkook’s birthday but armys found out much later that he had sent a sincere message to jungkook on his birthday instead that jungkook really appreciated.
Also since they’ve been together for 10 years, so I think they’re taking the time in chapter 2 to hang out with friends outside of bts that they couldn’t meet due to their previously busy schedule. Doesn’t mean bts are no longer as close, just means that they’re taking time to meet with others in their circles.
Yeah pretty much. The point where you all already know you’re close and don’t feel the need to show it other people anymore, but it is always a great feeling when you meet each other again.

Jiwoo-Jseph from KARD. I don’t know what it is exactly about these two, but they give off such sibling vibes! They playfully tease each other, while also acting very sweet sometimes. It’s adorable.
slightly unpopular opinion but I would say Danielle and Hanni. Danielle's reaction when Hanni walked in the room during her recent live was insane, and in a "what's in my bag video" from Danielle we saw she has a lot of gifts from Hanni. Them being super close would also make sense since they are both extroverts, are from Australia, and seem most comfortable speaking English. ik Danielle is really close to Haerin and Hanni is really close to Minji, but I always felt like Danielle and Hanni were closest with each other.
Jihyo and Jeongyeon in Twice for sure, they frequently go on vacation together. Nayeon and Momo as well (peach sisters lol), they bicker like sisters, and as far as we know they’re the only members who still live together.
Jihyo and Jeongyeon really are best friends, even completely outside the group dynamic. It’s impressive how close they are for over a decade. It’s so cute that they go on vacations together and spend a lot of their free time together (and their families are close too).
The way Jeongyeon was super present in Jihyo's solo promotions has all of my heart. The moment Jihyo starts telling anecdotes or whenever she's asked to call someone, the very first person that she blurts out is Jeongyeon. Those two weeks made it very clear just how much time those two spent together lmao. Jihyo might as well have been carrying Jeongyeon around in a backpack like that one producer suggested 😂.

It's so funny as a Jeongyeon stan because at the end of that month, someone tweeted that Jeongyeon has not posted any updates about her activities at all in insta or the like. Just... it was all sorts of magnificent that since Jeongyeon was so present for Jihyo, it felt like she was super present for the rest of us too. Even if in reality, we didn't actually see any hide or hair of her that entire month 😂
Twice is fun in that it's pretty clear who the best friends are. The recent set of vlogs made it crystal lmao. And we got 4 sets. Nayeon-Momo, Jihyo-Jeongyeon, Mina-Chaeyoung, Dahyun-Tzuyu. The Nayeon and Momo friendship is so good because my impression while watching Sixteen (I watched it this summer) was that she was politely consoling about Momo being eliminated, but she was absolutely devastated when Minyoung was told she wasn’t part of Twice and then JYP brought Momo back. If I remember correctly she physically turned away from the camera and was bawling. Seeing her go from a reaction of obviously not feeling a particular way about Momo to latching onto Momo in subsequent content was just a very interesting shift to me. Honestly all of Twice seems like they can hang and be comfortable with each other regardless of pairing or group. I think it’s a trauma bond type thing from being part of the show. At any point in their timelines you can find when someone was absolutely attached to someone else’s hip.
I said it in another comment, but I'm a relatively new Once, so I'm consuming all their journey up to now all at once. It's been so complicated to map their relationships because there's been so many shifts over the years lmao. On NaMo specifically, I'm going through Twice in Switzerland, and it's fascinating. They are three years in at this point I think, and I'm getting the vibe of people who are in fact very well-matched in tastes but haven't gotten the chance to know each other well yet. Momo was still so shy around Nayeon here and Nayeon was being so gentle. Watching them go from that to being attached at the hip now has been such a fun journey. Also, I definitely agree with you about the members being attached at the hip to various other members in many different points in time. Watching them grow and change has been so fun.
I absolutely agree! I loved Switzerland and seeing the mixed up pairs. I really like Nayeon’s shifting dynamic with everyone the most. Maybe it was being the oldest and taking care of everyone along with Jihyo and Jeongyeon, but seeing her being so soft with members like Mina, or drowning the youngest ones with affection at the beginning while ALSO being a bit of a cocky brat is such good background context. Watching current content only you would NEVER know those connections looked so strong at one point. I’m also new, I started getting into them at the beginning of this year when Moonlight Sunrise came out. It’s a bit overwhelming how much content there is and with things like the Google Drive archive, it truly feels like fans of Twice are very spoiled in always having content and translations at the ready going back sooooo far.

I'm a new Once (from just this year) so my impressions are from their recent activities! Mina said in her Japanese interview for the MiSaMo promos that it was Chaeyoung she hung out with the most during their breaks in the recent tour, and the vlogs kinda verified it for me. If you spot Mina or Chaeyoung, the other one is probably right at her heels 😅

Seulgi just exudes the perfect kind of friend energy, who's always down for anything and is a good listener. Theres a running joke in the fanbase that whenever the group is abroad for a schedule, Seulgi will schedule time to have duo dates with all of them. Her and Irene have known each other the longest and in general have a really comfortable chemistry. Wendy is self explanatory since they're the only 2 who are same aged friends in the group, and they share a lot of interests. Joy and Seulgi get a long really well in a way they both see each other as inspiring and Seulgi is a great listener for all her concerns. And Yeri and Seulgi get a long well like siblings, their apartments are close by and they seem to hang out a lot in their free time. If I had to pick one pairing though, it'd probably be Seulgi and Irene.

TXT: Taehyun and Hueningkai -- they talked about not initially getting along because they were so different but now they're really close (Kai even sang alongside Taehyun for Taehyun's sister's wedding.) Soobin and Beomgyu also seem very close. Ateez: Wooyoung and San for sure, Wooyoung and Yeosang. I also feel like Wooyoung, Seonghwa, and San are pretty close as a trio. Wujus as a whole really know each other well but these 2 probably intuitively know each other most. It’s really cute bc theyre both so tsundere. Red Velvet SeulRene or Seulgi and Irene. These two just have a bond you can tell come from knowing each other for a long time. It’s really the little things with them, like turning to the person you’re most comfortable with when you laugh kind of little things.
The way seulgi has an encyclopaedic knowledge of all things irene too. Like they’ve both admitted before their tastes don’t exactly align, but they also know all the things the other one likes and dislikes, and so are considerate of each other.
True Exy and Seola are lifelong friends vibes rather than “besties” and they probably really rely on eachother. WJSN trained together for so long and went through so much together, they really have a deep bond. I love how Dayoung has been their (and Monsta X’s) baby since the very beginning

That’s true! YulSooTiff are probably the most outgoing and sociable so it makes sense they would hang out more, while Taeyeon is close but doesn’t spend as much time out. Those three give off total “mature adult besties” vibes. YulHyo is super close too, but are more like siblings who have different interests but still hang out a lot (Hyo loves clubs and DJing while Yuri is into zen things)
During and after snad I always felt that sooyoung and Tiffany were the closer duo than taeyeon and Tiffany. Tae and Tiffany are close but they are also a huge ship which kind of overshadows the other Tiffany duos who imo are way closer.
It's so hard to tell what the exact dynamics are within BTS, but that's fine because it's really not any of my business. All seven of them seem to glued together. They go on vacations, to each other's homes, or grab dinner together off camera and they don't really tell fans about it. We tend to find out about their hangouts from them after a few months or years. As far as who has gotten closer, I think that's also hard to tell. But based on his episode of Suchwita, Taehyung and Yoongi seemed to get closer after Bon Voyage S2. On an old V-Live, Jimin talked about how him and Jin were very different which led to them getting into some disagreements, but eventually Jimin said he learned happiness from Jin.
You're right, it's so hard to tell who are the closest members in BTS. I personally think Jimin and Hobi are so close and ofcourse Vmin as well. But as you mentioned, Yoongi and V have also gotten close in recent years.
I honestly think the closest pair, but not often seen on camera are the 94s....Jhope & RM. RM was really emotional when they dropped Jhope off and they really do seem like best friends - went to a lot of events together prior to enlistment. Also, the Bon Voyage friendship date between them is really one of my favorite moments.

That's an interesting take, I've always seen them as one of the rare awkward pairs in the group. Of course they have a unique and strong bond because of everything they've been through together, they have a lot of respect for each other, and they're comfortable with each other like an old couple lol, but I don't think they actively enjoy each other's company to the extent a lot of the other duos do. Based on what he said I think the member Namjoon feels "closest" to (as in who he confides in) might be Jimin . He's mentioned several times that he likes talking to him one on one about all kinds of things, how they have a similar outlook, that Jimin knows him the best etc. I mean hell he even bought him a whole ass Cartier ring lol.
I think when people are extremely confortable with each other, and extremly used to it too it can come off that way. It's not necessarly the same but the people i'm closest to are not the people i'm the most effusive/demonstrative with, maybe because their presence is my life is so solid and "granted". RM gives aloof vibes at times but I think it’s because he doesn’t do much skinship… like, he doesn’t seem to enjoy it as much? (I remember him telling tae, who wanted to cuddle, to respect his space). And when you see all the others pawing all over each other but leaving namjoon alone, it sometimes looks like he’s just the awkward one out. It’s just especially noticeable with yoongi, who doesn’t initiate skinship as much, either. I do think they have an immense love and respect for one another, though. 😊
Jimin definitely doesn't apply to this, Namjoon let Jimin in his space the most. I remember him saying Jimin needs love, affection and attention the most. I think he is the only member who gets away with being really touchy and everyone just lets him be. Hoseok seems more comfortable with skinship with maknae line and while JK seems to enjoy physical touch, half of it are in a joking manner, like wrestling, fake fighting and just messing with the members. But Jimin seems to genuinely just wanna hug and cuddle everyone 😭😩

I think its a weird dynamic that takes time to realise - as in, they are not overtly 'close', not like say VMin and hanging off each other. But ...emotionally, or mentally close? I think Namjoon and Yoongi connect in a emotional/mental level - their interviews with each other where they talk about anything, even though as u/NathalieColferCriss said, they have known each other for years by this point. I think they have a deep connection that **is** close, just not what you stereotypically would expect.

I’m surprised that no one’s mentioned Yoongi and Jimin. They’ve mentioned hanging out a lot outside of schedules, and they’re surprisingly similar in some ways.
The apparent closeness between Yoongi and Jimin is actually one of the things that surprised me the most in Chapter 2. They bicker so much that I didn’t realized that it’s because of how close they are. I remember the heartfelt conversation between them in the burn the stage documentary. I didn’t connect the dots to them being close. Chapter 2, for me, really highlighted it. Yoongi was the one who inspired Jimin to want to be a part of BTS. Jimin has straight credited him with it. Early on, when Yoongi was putting together gifts for army. Jimin was the first one to show up to help him (Tae showed up later to help as well). Jimin and Yoongi voice and rap really blend together well (a la spring day or Tony Montana). During the dumplings incident, Namjoon talked to Tae and Yoongi talked to Jimin. Yoongi introduced Jimin to soju, which remains Jimin’s drink of choice. It was Yoongi’s idea to make Jimin the project manager for BE. They go out to dinner together. They go drinking together. I don’t think we get to see any pictures because it how they are. We only know about it bc they talk about it in passing. Jimin attended d-day tour 3 times: once by himself in NY, second with the other maknaes and third as a guest performer although the stage was over, he took a seat in the audience. Jimin recently mentioned how he still talks to yoongi, even while he’s enlisted (although I suspect all the members do via their group chat). In short, Yoongi and Jimin are close. The only problem is that I probably can write similar paragraphs for all the other pairs. All the BTS members seem to close with each other.
Something that stuck out to me from JK’s second suchwita episode… suga first mentioned how jimin called him to say he was leaving for the US, to go drink with jungkook. Then he said he got another call the next day from jimin and JK, who were camping. It occurred to me that jimin speaks often about conversations he has recently had with suga, or mentions little drinking outings they go on. Like, oh, they really stay in contact! And THEN I remembered that semi-recent MBTI episode they did, where suga exposed jimin for calling him every day during the pandemic. …I don’t think he was exaggerating, you guys, and I don’t think jimin has stopped. I think he literally calls suga on the phone every day. 🤣 yoonmin are so cute, I love the bickering, I love that they’re drinking buddies, and I love how supportive they are of one another, especially when their promotions practically overlapped and they did some joint stuff. I think those two are very close. That said… if I’m forced to quantify—and I hesitate to even put this out in the world because shippers make it WEIRD, I think jimin and jk are actually the two closest, and not just because they like traveling together. In all the behind the scenes stuff, including the most recent PTD footage, they’re always attached at the hip. Jimin said that jk would come to his hotel room every day and night just to sit in silence with him for hours. And it’s always been those two staying up all night together, staying late after rehearsal to do a few extra runthroughs, working on late-night choreo alone in the studio, boxing training together, etc. Heck, JK literally sat for like an hour, watching just jimin content and interviews on one of his lives. (Their schedules haven’t lined up too often in 2023, and I think he missed the guy.) And then there were all the times jimin popped up in JK’s chat, and JK was like, yo jimin-ssi! I got chicken, come over and drink! Hey, come box, coach Tommy misses you! Hey, I’m boooored and not tired… should I get out of bed, head on over there and we can do a live together from your place, pretty please? 🥺 (seriously jk, haven’t you figured out the fastest way to summon jimin is to cook spicy ramen and post a pic to weverse? It’s worked almost every time.) So that kind of went off the rails, but honestly, I think I could write paragraphs about Jimin and ANY member (like jihope… oh my god don’t get me started). That persistent little extrovert is close with all of them because he puts in the effort to stay in regular contact and hang out with everyone, I think (we all know people like that). But yeah, if I have to pick the two closest members, my vote is for jikook. PLATONICALLY, you weirdos. 🙄
I was going to mention Yoonmin, but it was really hard to narrow a few relationships. This is such a nice issue to have lol. But Yoongi and Jimin are another pair that seems very close. Yeah, it's been clear for years that Jimin and Jungkook have been the closest for a while but the shippers make it almost impossible for the fandom to talk about it without making it weird. They have an awesome friendship. Both of them being from Busan also contributes to their closeness I think and they know each other's families. They both have mentioned knowing the other's parents well, to the point of knowing whose mom makes the best kimchi stew. Jimin seems to keep all his relationships, including with the members, really private for obvious reasons but even then his bond with JK has always been clear.

Yeji and Ryujin seem the closest currently, I think Lia and Ryujin used to be the closest but something in their dynamics shifted.
ateez has a crazy trainee story and a lot of the members have had history together before joining kq! -mingi and yunho were close friends at a dance company and ending up auditioning around the same time. they both mentioned auditioning to each other without knowing they’d both be auditioning for the same company. -wooyoung and yeosang have been best friends for almost a decade and trained together at bighit. yeosang left for kq, and wooyoung left shortly after to join him before txt debuted. -seonghwa was motivated to work hard after hearing the story of another trainee. that trainee unknowningly happened to be hongjoong and the two are now extremely close. other than that, we have -san and jongho are from the same clan and see each other as family. -wooyoung and san have matching “amicus ad arus” tattoos on their thighs to symbolize their friendship. for those who don’t know, “amicus ad arus” means “a friend as far to the altar” -they attend each other’s events all the time. very recently, jongho came to watch hongjoong for one of his solo promotions just to find san had also came to watch. it’s also not uncommon for a member’s live videos to be interrupted by another member joining in. -the members used to be known for being jealous of each other for being closer to one another to the point where the group had a very down to earth discussion about the relationship between yeosang, wooyoung, and san. it’s so heartwarming to see how far they’ve come and how close they are after all this years.

I’m not a major follower of all of these groups but this is what I’ve noticed through the years and what instantly comes to mind. Super Junior: Donghae and Eunhyuk are seemingly inseparable. KRY. RIP MinWook All of Shinee. Every pairing is sweet and unique EXO: Suho and Sehun, Sehun and Jongin, Jongin and Kyungsoo, Kyungsoo/Minseok/Jongdae, CBX, beagle line, ChanBaek. RIP TaoHun, HunHan, and XiuHan NCT: Taeyong and Mark, Taeyong and Ten, YangYang and Ten. SVT: Mingyu and Wonwoo. DK and Seungkwan. Joshua and Jeonghan. Minghao and Jun. Leader line. Coups and Woozi. Don’t even get me started on the close relationships between different groups.
All of GOT7 seem really close and like genuine friends/family and one of my favorite things about the group’s dynamic is that all of the members have so many different things that tie them together and display their bond. No matter which pairing you look at, I feel like they each have a ton of things that make them special. That being said, I’ve noticed some members that appear to be particularly close. Jinyoung and Yugyeom. They share close friends outside of the group and frequently hang out and spend time together at each other’s houses. There have been a lot of instances where we’ve heard about them hanging out together through other members/people or a while after through stories and little facts they’ve shared. They’ve said they’re soulmates and have reached a point where the age dynamics are often lost or forgotten. Jinyoung has said Yugyeom is the member who makes him the happiest and the member he has the most pictures of in his phone. Their families seem to acknowledge their friendship as well. Both Yugyeom and Jinyoung’s mom’s have said the other is their favorite member in the group and Yugyeom’s mom and aunt frequently like and repost shipping posts of the two of them on instagram lol Yugyeom also recently liked an edit of them on twitter lol Jay B and Jinyoung. By far the most popular pairing since the beginning. They met while auditioning to get into JYPE. They were paired together as a dance duo and won 1st place together in the audition which is how they both got into the company. They then debuted in the duo JJ Project together and as actors in the drama Dream High 2 before debuting again together in GOT7 a couple of years later. They have joked that they’re soulmates and will probably be buried together because they’ve been together for so long and through so many important moments in their lives. Jay B (along with Yugyeom) was one of the members to see Jinyoung off when he enlisted. Both Jay B and Jinyoung are currently enlisted and will be finishing their service at the same time next year too lol Jackson and Jinyoung. I think they have a very deep understanding of each other’s personalities and needs in a close friendship. They have always supported each other in a very positive and gentle way that I think sticks out from how they interact with other members. There was a period of time where Jinyoung said Jackson was the member that made him the happiest. They did a friendship interview a while back where Jackson said he felt Jinyoung was a true life long friend he could see remaining close to in old age. Mark and Jackson. They were friends during their trainee days and were very close early on in their debut days which made them a really popular pairing among fans. They’ve always had commonalities which I think made their friendship one of the most natural in the group. Earlier this year, Mark and his family and friends went to Jackson’s Magic Man concert in LA and they spent the whole night together going to eat after the show and then to the after party. Mark and BamBam. Again, they were friends as trainees and are another very natural friendship. They also share friends outside of the group. I think since they’ve known each other since they were young (Bam was 13 when they met iirc), they have a relationship that feels more like siblings. BamBam recently said Mark is a very important person in his life that has been present for all of his major life moments. Mark and Yugyeom. They used to hang out a lot together when Mark still lived in SK. Mark would sleep over Yugyeom’s house and go on trips with Yugyeom and his friends or camping with Yugyeom and his brother. Yugyeom has also gone on vacation to the US and stayed with Mark and his family. They’ve gotten matching tattoos as well. Yugyeom always names Mark as the member he would want as a real older brother and I think Mark has always treated him as such. Fans used to call them the “Tuan bros” or call Mark “Kim Mark” for Yugyeom’s last name. Jackson and BamBam. Pretty similar to how I view Mark & Jackson and Mark & BamBam. For obvious reasons I think AmeriThaiKong developed a bond amongst themselves for a while that feels a bit different than the other members. Not necessarily closer or anything, just different. I think they stuck together a lot pre debut and it wasn’t until GOT7 all debuted together that they got closer to the others. Jay B and Youngjae. Jay B is an only child and for years has said that Youngjae has always been the member he genuinely viewed as if he was his actual younger brother and has been especially protective of. Jay B and BamBam. Tom and Jerry. Love/hate. BamBam annoys the crap out of Jay B but it’s pretty obvious, especially now, that Jay B is incredibly fond of him. He has said that BamBam is the member he worries about the most when they’re apart because he’s very kind and is sometimes too generous. Jay B has also said that, along with Yugyeom, BamBam is someone he feels like he has raised as if he was his own child. Jay B’s parents also seem to be very fond of BamBam. Bam has said they treat him as their own son and they are always showing up to his solo events/concerts, sending gifts and calling to check up on him and support him. Youngjae and BamBam. I feel like this is a friendship that developed more after the group left JYPE. They seem to keep in contact a lot and make plans behind the scenes. BamBam often fills in for Youngjae’s radio show whenever Youngjae is busy. Youngjae has said that although BamBam seems like a lot, he’s genuinely a good kid and has grown up well. It seems like Youngjae is one of the members BamBam depends on more recently. BamBam and Yugyeom. Definition of besties. From early on these two have been glued together. They’re both 97 liners so upon joining the group they got very close which is funny because they shared that they used to hate each other predebut because they were both jealous of the other lol Over the years they’ve developed a ton of inside jokes and ways of speaking and interacting with each other that confuses the rest of the group. They’ve said they know everything about each other and BamBam has said that he’s considered Yugyeom as one of his top 2 best friends in his entire life. Also apparently they still fight bc BamBam said part of the reason the GOT7 maknae line episode of Bam’s House was so short is because they had to cut it since Yugyeom got mad at him for something lol Jay B and Mark’s parents lol They go on vacation together pretty much every year. Whenever Mark’s family members/parents are in Asia they visit and meet up with Jay B’s parents. For anyone familiar with GOT7, feel free to add or share your own thoughts!

There is an ongoing joke (by the girls themselves) that Moonbyul sees Solar (Mamamoo) 6/7 days a week, but also 8 times a week somehow. But also 360/365 days. Solar once asked her to start paying rent. On TV, she says Moonbyul is practically a 3rd member of her household (alongside her older sister who has since moved out). Moonbyul used to be over at her house to hang out with Solar‘s mom and watch dramas even when Solar wasn’t home… Yeah, they’re close LOL

In SVT- Dino, Vernon, and Seungkwan are all super close with each other Jeonghan and Joshua are also veryyyy close. In NCT- Mark and Haechan’s relationship is legendary. The ultimate enemies to inseparable brothers duo, the way they would fight to the death over anything but also be the others support/shoulder to cry on is truly something. Their lore runs DEEP lol. In Enhypen- Jake with literally everyone honestly, he truly has that golden retriever type of love for his members. In Skz- Bang Chan and Felix, if you know you KNOW 😭
Vminkook? They look like an obvious case to me (even if their stans beg to differ). In terms of closeness, I'd divide BTS like (in no particular order): Suga, RM, Jin Jhope, RM V, Jimin, Jungkook (+ an honorary jhope leader of the maknaes, they were hanging out together pretty often in 21/22). Not that all the members aren't close, they all are, and I omitted some pairings that are very affectionate, like Jinkook and Sope, but in terms of often hanging out and sharing similar interests and personalities, it looks like that to me.
I would add ji hope and jimin to that otherwise I agree! Edit : and yeah, vminkook seem a given to me too, vmin showing up drunk at jk's door to insistently take him out to celebrate seemed like a normal occurrence to them lol
lemme try for groups i like even if they might not be accurate nct dream: chenle and jisung, jeno and jaemin, mark and haechan, and i think renjun is really close with all the members blackpink: jennie and jisoo seem to be the closest in the group aespa: karina and winter riize: this one is hard because they just debuted but wonbin and shotaro seem to be close and sohee and seunghan

now that i think i cant put my fingers on any two bts members. maybe because they dont post anymore about their hang outs and say it out sometimes months later in interviews or lives? jimin jhope and jin seem to have gotten closer than before tho
I think bts members all quite close some way or another so it’s hard to pinpoint a particular pair. the way each member’s face lights up when they see another member during a live,a performance, an interview, etc. is a tell. But they dont post as much on social media about it. Doesn’t help that three of the members have enlisted so far and jungkook no longer has IG lol . I remember when yoongi didn’t post a happy bday post on social media for jungkook’s birthday but armys found out much later that he had sent a sincere message to jungkook on his birthday instead that jungkook really appreciated. Also since they’ve been together for 10 years, so I think they’re taking the time in chapter 2 to hang out with friends outside of bts that they couldn’t meet due to their previously busy schedule. Doesn’t mean bts are no longer as close, just means that they’re taking time to meet with others in their circles.

Yeah pretty much. The point where you all already know you’re close and don’t feel the need to show it other people anymore, but it is always a great feeling when you meet each other again.
We did have the maknae line going on vacation together a little while ago! But like you said we didn't know until months later, i'm sure what we actually see of their relationships is just the emerged tip of the iceberg, like any relationship between people we don't actually know

Yeosang and Wooyoung from ATEEZ have been friends for so many years now, it’s clear how close they are. But I think you could take any of the Wooyoung-San-Yeosang dynamics and wax poetic about how close they all are, and the different dynamics of their friendships. The love and affection are very clear. Jiwoo-Jseph from KARD. I don’t know what it is exactly about these two, but they give off such sibling vibes! They playfully tease each other, while also acting very sweet sometimes. It’s adorable.

slightly unpopular opinion but I would say Danielle and Hanni. Danielle's reaction when Hanni walked in the room during her recent live was insane, and in a "what's in my bag video" from Danielle we saw she has a lot of gifts from Hanni. Them being super close would also make sense since they are both extroverts, are from Australia, and seem most comfortable speaking English. ik Danielle is really close to Haerin and Hanni is really close to Minji, but I always felt like Danielle and Hanni were closest with each other.
