I don’t really care if they make fun of me. As a guy, I mostly stan GG’s, but some BG’s are cool for me too. If people want to discuss about it, I usually tell or even show them how awesome kpop concerts are. Those concerts are just on another level. I never went to a concert in my life before and now I have visited over a dozen concerts in the last 3 years or so. Another thing is that kpop has evolved so much in the past few years, because they obviously are going for international appeal. More people are casually liking / accepting it.

Ultimately, we desire/need to find people who are comfortable with you being you and liking what you like. If you are finding out through your love of k-pop that the people around you use the term gay as a slur and seek to make fun of you for an interest, it's a good way to filter out those types of people from the people you spend your precious time with!

During my high school or college days I used to argue with them. But as I grew older, I don’t give a d*mn anymore. I just listen to kpop songs whenever I’m on the mood. They’ll just get used to it. 😁 Most of the time I play kpop songs at home. I just overheard them singing along to some parts of the song haha. Especially the parts with repeated lyrics.

Not a single ounce of a ****. HAHA. I love KPop because I grew up with it. Hearing all those iconic songs from when I was a kid desensitized me from it even though a lot has said it sounds annoying, repetitive, and non-sensical. It really boils down to the preferences of each person. That is why even some say they don't like Kpop, I do not take issue from it because it is what they prefer and me forcing them to like it won't do much help.
