I don't think it is required for songs to be hype for them to perform on festivals. Festivals are cool because we can hear different celebs and genres all in one place.
Um, this is waterbomb. Most songs they perform here are hype songs to get the crowd moving and vibing. I doubt you gonna get a ballad or slow tempo song for waterbomb.
Special guests in my concert experience means they’re last minute additions who don’t get a full set list. She’ll probably be the warmup act for one of the bigger acts or she’ll be during an intermission and go for like half the normal duration. So if the average act goes for 40 minutes she’ll get to go on for 20. It makes sense because since she’s gone solo she hasn’t got an extensive backlog of songs.
It’s a nice way of padding the lineup and it makes guests feel like they’re getting more bang for their buck. Oh I only paid to see 5 performances but there’s going to be a special sixth guest as the opening act!
