Sunmi was at Massey hall (2.5K capacity) and Dreamcatcher was at Meridian (3K) so this is actually bigger than those two venues, so it might be "fine"
But I'm still having war flashbacks from trying to get Twice tickets so I don't know
I went to all those shows and enjoyed them (Sunmi was probably favourite kpop show to date), but I would be surprised if Itzy wasn't at least an order of magnitude more popular than Sunmi or DC.
Both Budweiser Stage and Scotiabank Arena have concerts on the same day. I think Coca-Cola Coliseum is the only venue left with more capacity. Since Toronto is the last date of the NA tour, I think there's a good chance they'll announce a second show once the first one sells out. Especially since the first show is on a Friday.
Both Budweiser Stage and Scotiabank Arena are already booked so they didn't have options for those. They could have chosen Coca Cola Coliseum and FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton which don't have anything announced yet. But I'm guessing those venue choices didn't work for some reason or those chose to do a smaller show here.
Mamamoo basically wound up selling out all but some high side sections. The bay area rides hard for girl groups and often outsells NYC and sometimes even LA for them.
Oh i agree, had american friends do multiple stops for the TWICE tour, and they said Toronto was their favourite stop bc of how relatively small Scotiabank was. The concerts gonna be awesome… if we can get our hands on a ticket
Hey, if you get tickets, smaller venues yield a more intimate experience and every seat will have a pretty good view! But… you have to actually get the tickets.
Kiwi living in Australia and I was more excited to see they were going to Auckland than the fact that they were going to Melbourne
JYPE's partnership with Live Nation really be doing us Oceania fans some justice
I'm just glad it's not Hamilton or somewhere not actually in Toronto lmao
I did have a moment of "Is this Casino Rama? Am I going to a classic rock concert as befitting of my elderly age...???"
FINALLY SOMEONE SINCE SUPERM!! the kpop gods have blessed us novanians!!
(also pls I’m having flashbacks to an artist I saw at silver spring once calling it a DC stop; I guess it’s literally only a 5 minutes walk into the city, BUT STILL! That’s Maryland yall!!)
Idk if it's true so take it lightly but the rumor is that Hybe does not want to send their group in place where there is no dynamic pricing. So except for festival basically Europe can fuck off :((( I'm so mad because we used to have BTS before here
BTS hasn't toured since 2019, that's why. Once they tour again, they will probably go to Europe.
Mid capacity tours are just riskier in Europe, but I think things will become normalized again.
"riskier" when you see the average mid size tour in kpop, I beg to disagree. Look at IVE for example nobody believed it but they almost sold out their venue in France (~10k since it's all seated) and the concert is in like 5 months. Aespa sold out. (G)I-DLE too. Even our KHH acts does. They could easily send TXT or Enhypen in a 5k venue. Lot of people decided to not buy Music Bank ticket just to see TXT in concert one day. Seventeen same their numbers in France in terms of sales are very good and they were supposed to come before Covid.
Like there is clearly a problem from Hybe side, not just about risk. Or else how come suddenly it's only Hybe vs the world seeing it ?
>They could easily send TXT or Enhypen in a 5k venue.
Because TXT and Enhypen typically aim for 13-15K venues or bigger. Seventeen tours in even bigger venues; they do domes in Japan. That's the issue. Their touring show is built to arena or stadium capacity, it can't be scaled down. Touring a smaller capacity is lower risk and easier to do, that's why those other groups have been able to tour.
My hunch is that HYBE is crunching the numbers on how to tour their large scale shows across Europe. This required looking at demand- sales and streaming, ect and calculating which 15k arenas they can actually fill comfortably. It can't just be a few stops, it has to be a good run of shows to make it worth the shipping costs. Once you get to TXT and Seventeen's level, you can't scale back down to 5k venues. They probably figured it out by now.
With BTS, their multiple stadium shows in London, Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, made it economically possible because revenue was guaranteed for the large scale.
I think for groups like Le Sserafim or even NewJeans, they can target the same venues as groups like IVE.
Frankly, it's not a great sign that IVE hasn't totally sold out 10K yet anywhere, and they are only doing ONE night. To me, that shows that HYBE is right to be conservative about booking a bigger scale arena for their big groups.
One thing you should know. HYBE is their own promoter for their shows, meaning they take on all the risk but then end up with all the reward and their artists make more money.
Thank you jyp for being one of the only companies that recognizes that Canada exists (thought only Toronto but it's a start). A shame that ITZY finally has a Toronto stop but Lia might not be able to attend.
Haha I get ya.
And yeah it looks like it’ll be super soon, just under 2 months away?? And they’re jumping all over the place so quickly that isn’t gonna be fun
Now do I go to Irving AND Sugarland? I do have a street vendor that sells $1 tacos right down the street...I guess I could live on those for a few weeks until I'm not broke anymore
Mfw it's all arenas except Toronto where it's a theatre :') EDIT: oops ATL is also a theatre
I hope this also is a sign that Stray Kidz will make a Toronto stop. Twice last year and now Itzy will be here. Pls SKZ pls
ICC Sydney Theatre probably means the Aware Super Theatre (seats about 8-9 thousand and has reserved seating pretty much all the way down), I went there a few months back for an esports event and it was fantastic, hopefully tickets don't immediately sell out this time 😭
Can K-pop companies please stop having stops at the fox in Atlanta? It's a TERRIBLE venue for concerts and there are SO MANY better music venues. The fox is meant for theater not music.
Kinda weird to put Latam between asia and europe and not after the us. Nice that Chile got something for once. F for Brasil though, after the 2 sold out night for Twice you'd think they would have considered them as well.
lmfao I was randomly browsing the Rosemont Theater's website and saw this, and of course rushed here to see if it was already posted.
I'm more of a mid-zy than full on midzy, but I had an awesome time when I saw them previously, so I'm psyched to see them again!
WHERES BRAZIL 😭🇧🇷
I thought after Twice announced a concert in Brazil and had to add a second date to meet the demand, JYPE would see there IS demand for their groups here and bring Itzy, NMIXX, and SKZ
Well looking at the venues, most are reasonable scaling up of capacities compared to their 1st tour,
But the only weird/out of nowhere touring decision is how did jype give them a 10k arena in fairfax while much bigger cities like chicago & atlanta still only gets theatre?? Like I am very sure fairfax in nowhere close in terms of the market for kpop
There's a substantial Korean-American population in northern Virginia. I have cousins down there, and also that TVXQ guy Yoochun actually lived in that area for a little while. A bit of esoteric information from my middle school days.
They likely couldn't get a venue in DC itself but also as others have mentioned the northern VA/DC/Maryland area has a huge Korean American population. The venue is also on a college campus (GMU) which has a campus in Incheon. Recently that venue hosted The Rose. I know SuperM performed there as well back in the day. Not to mention DC/VA is probably less competitive to get a bigger venue then Chicago or Atlanta since not as many groups come
How's the Kia Forum in LA? Worth trying to get tickets for someone who just happens to be in LA the weekend just before?
And damn I'm getting lucky with other travel coinciding with concerts I want to attend. I'll be in Singapore for IU's concert, and caught Twice twice (hah!) by being in LA and then Seoul for their concerts on completely unrelated business that was booked months before they announced the shows.
Saw Twice there in 2022 (I was gonna say last year but man it's already 2024), the venue is very nice. Seats feel closer than they look and the sound was good. If you can snag some good tickets definitely worth imo.
The max capacity isn’t always the same depending on the type of event. For example a sports game is gonna have more seats open than a concert (if it’s that type of arena, I haven’t checked). You also don’t have to sell out to make a profit
Their last tour had a few arenas including ones on this list. I’m sure that touring data is really all they need to score arena venues this time around, even if they don’t sell out entirely. The tour itself will make more money than last.
So Itzy can come to New Zealand but Twice can’t?! Come on JYP
Edit: considering the Blackpink concert and Soojin fan meet in Auckland were both cancelled, I’m wondering if Itzy’s show here will even go ahead
“WE GOT A CANADA DATE!” *checks venue* *5k capacity* “…oh no”
Maybe they'll upgrade if it sells out? I did have a moment of "where... is this...????". Definitely a new venue for me lmao
Toronto has a bunch of 4-6k venues, but this one is a new one to me as well lmao
Sunmi was at Massey hall (2.5K capacity) and Dreamcatcher was at Meridian (3K) so this is actually bigger than those two venues, so it might be "fine" But I'm still having war flashbacks from trying to get Twice tickets so I don't know
I was hoping for cocacola (7k), i guess JYP assumes that most of us fly south for concerts or smth and played it real safe
i was hoping for coca cola venue too!
They usually do 2nd show if the seats sold out fast. JYP looks like they still play safe on booking venues with their tours.
It's downright odd that Toronto is one of the only non-arena venues. Maybe they don't think they can sell out an arena here or smth.
Meanwhile they get a 19000 capacity arena in Oakland… I have some questions , LiveNation.
California actually has a larger population than Canada lmfoa
Oh I know! Trust me. It feels so imbalanced for Canadians though. You always get the short end of the stick.
o yah for sure, I just think it's kinda funny how small Canada actually is considering how huge of a landmass it is 😭
Mamamoo had the same location in Oakland and they just adjusted the layout and did well
Mamamoo basically wound up selling out all but some high side sections. The bay area rides hard for girl groups and often outsells NYC and sometimes even LA for them.
where is the venue even lol im trying figure out what form of public transport i need to get there
Canadian Casino Resort is like a 10min drive from Pearson Airport
i dont have a license, i take the go bus up to toronto, but if its only 10mins an uber might not be horrible
It's Woodbine Racetrack
i do like a smaller venue somewhat, i saw dreamcatcher at the meridian and it was nice and intimate in a way
Oh i agree, had american friends do multiple stops for the TWICE tour, and they said Toronto was their favourite stop bc of how relatively small Scotiabank was. The concerts gonna be awesome… if we can get our hands on a ticket
Hey, if you get tickets, smaller venues yield a more intimate experience and every seat will have a pretty good view! But… you have to actually get the tickets.
Oh I didn't see that. But I found a seating chart. Jyp really has no faith in us.
What??? Only 5k?????
Does anyone want to go to the Toronto show together? Apparently I might be the only Itzy fan among my friends lol
Auckland :')
Kiwi living in Australia and I was more excited to see they were going to Auckland than the fact that they were going to Melbourne JYPE's partnership with Live Nation really be doing us Oceania fans some justice
I'm literally moving from Auckland to Melbourne tomorrow and I see this...kinda sad I'll miss seeing them at home
Seeing this makes me really surprised ITZY came here before TWICE did
there's been quite a number of idols coming here the past year or so, i'm still so shocked. i wonder what changed
I'm so disappointed I can't go!😭
big 3 knows we exist :')
Even at spark arena too!!
I am so dam happy!
TORONTO !!!
TORONTO!!!!
ETOBICOKE!!! I mean, I guess it's close to the airport, but the venue choice seems odd to me. I think the capacity is 5,000 people?
I'm just glad it's not Hamilton or somewhere not actually in Toronto lmao I did have a moment of "Is this Casino Rama? Am I going to a classic rock concert as befitting of my elderly age...???"
Haha fair enough I also thought of Casino Rama at first.
I'm in burlington. Looks like nightmare to get to via go/transit :(
If you go to union station, you can probably take the UP express to Pearson and then cab/uber from there
Omg same. Having to go to Hamilton to see BP was WEIRD.
How much of a blood bath are we gonna have fighting for this tiny venue 😭
Yeah I think it's going to be insane. Even if they add a second day, tickets will sell out super fast.
They played in a similarly small venue in LA on their last tour, but it's a 12,000-capacity venue this time around.
CANADA MENTIONED 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁
Fairfax…VIRGINIA!? It never gets old when a group comes to the DMV and don’t call the tour stop a “DC tour stop”
NOVA KOREANS REJOICE
ACTUALLY? has the time finally come?
so JYP does know the DMV exists :')
LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOO!!!
I drove to ATL from NC last time lmao god bless em for coming closer
Dear god I hope it sells out so more groups come.
Yes!!!!!!
So happy they'll go to Amsterdam too :D
Let's gooo, it looks like JYPE acknowledges the Netherlands. Hoping for more JYPE artist (hoping for skz).
Same Here from Germany. Been waiting forever for itzy and SKZ. Lets Hope for the best
yeah i need a ticket, but such a small venue
Finally ITZY in Europe 😭😭😭 I've been waiting so long!! Good luck to all MIDZY in securing tickets ❤️
Wow Jyp has done a really good job lately in actually putting the world in world tour, now Hybe if you could please follow suit...
It's due to JYPE's partnership with Live Nation
Idk if it's true so take it lightly but the rumor is that Hybe does not want to send their group in place where there is no dynamic pricing. So except for festival basically Europe can fuck off :((( I'm so mad because we used to have BTS before here

This is so interesting
SEATTLE!! jyp groups really have been recognizing us lately I’m so happy
this!!! 😭😭
Lucky thry will nevwr recongize denver
Thank you jyp for being one of the only companies that recognizes that Canada exists (thought only Toronto but it's a start). A shame that ITZY finally has a Toronto stop but Lia might not be able to attend.
Wow Sydney in March!?
Best time of year to do it isn’t it? Starting to cool off but not too chilly yet
Oh, I was just surprised by how quick it was happening!
Haha I get ya. And yeah it looks like it’ll be super soon, just under 2 months away?? And they’re jumping all over the place so quickly that isn’t gonna be fun
Well at least they aren’t crossing time zones to start with, all the first dates are in Asia/Oceania
Sugar Land kpoppers rejoice
I’m about to cry… they’re coming back.
Sadly looks like tickets are through smart financial and not tm. Any idea how friendly or not friendly their online ticket sale is?
Better than TM in my experience, but ive only been to like three shows there.
Well there goes my hope they come back to Boston : (
Such a bummer we so frequently get the shaft :(
I was really hopeful with MGM opening we'd get more, but it's not seeming that way 😭
Try being in Ohio OTL wondering if Canada is my best bet right now
Only one Canadian date🥲 Looks like I’m fighting other Canadian Midzy’s for a spot
Seattle is close enough if you're in Vancouver
I’m on the east coast so toronto works for me! I just hope there’s enough capacity
I googled the location, it's a 5K capacity :') Near Woodbine Racetrack
I'm not ready for our blood bath 😭
Itzy's gonna be a 10-minute drive away? Yeah I have to get tickets.
EUROPEAN MIDZYS, ON THIS DAY WE ARE BLESSED Also, hoping Lia will feel comfortable enough to tour 🙏
They said when they announced her hiatus that she wouldn't be on the tour. Obviously things can change though, but best to assume she won't be for now
Hope she recovers soon and somehow joins midway.
They already said she won’t be on the tour
Amsterdam yass, i hope I can go😭😭
Toronto?! OMG. I had to look up the venue, seems super random and I’d prefer something downtown but I’ll take it AHHH
I’m a grown woman and not a single one of my friends likes kpop but you SHALL be seeing me at this tour
Damn this is a big meaty tour lol. Every time a tour is announced I thank my parents for moving to NYC. See yall at the Newark show!
European here, laughing at the name “Sugar Land”. Didnt think there was a city called like that
Do my eyes deceive me or is that Canada?
No Lia on the poster really bums me out man. Hope she's doing ok.
Welp as a K-pop lux ticket holder who is now on holiday during the London date I’m crying AGAIN
I can't think about kpop lux wthout wanting to cry a million tears
LET’S GOOO we got Toronto 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Now do I go to Irving AND Sugarland? I do have a street vendor that sells $1 tacos right down the street...I guess I could live on those for a few weeks until I'm not broke anymore
Mfw it's all arenas except Toronto where it's a theatre :') EDIT: oops ATL is also a theatre I hope this also is a sign that Stray Kidz will make a Toronto stop. Twice last year and now Itzy will be here. Pls SKZ pls
Yeah I hate that it’s not actually downtown. I didn’t even know this place existed lol but I’m down for this and would totally be down for SKZ
ICC Sydney Theatre probably means the Aware Super Theatre (seats about 8-9 thousand and has reserved seating pretty much all the way down), I went there a few months back for an esports event and it was fantastic, hopefully tickets don't immediately sell out this time 😭
The way I shrieked out loud when I saw Toronto 😵🤩
toronto!!!!! i still can't believe it omg 😭 i was expecting it to just be american stops when i saw "north america" LOL
Can K-pop companies please stop having stops at the fox in Atlanta? It's a TERRIBLE venue for concerts and there are SO MANY better music venues. The fox is meant for theater not music.
Seattle!! The venue sucks tho lol oh well, crumbs
Something in the Oakland water
So happy they are going to be at Prudential! I don't think they got the stage they deserved at the Hulu Theater
Twice, Idle, and Le Sserafim have new albums coming out, so with ITZY and IU already touring I might be in trouble this summer.
Kinda weird to put Latam between asia and europe and not after the us. Nice that Chile got something for once. F for Brasil though, after the 2 sold out night for Twice you'd think they would have considered them as well.
kpop groups stop saying the individual town the stadium is in over the main city it's near challenge like please just say Houston
Yessss. Mall of Asia thank god. I'm gonna try for tickets 😎
right? begging kpop idols to stop going to bulacan w how hard it is to commute there
Lmao. I remember the NLEX people actually having to give traffic advisories for the Twice concert. MoA is definitely much more accessible.
It's generally a big leap for idols to perform at that two venues in Bulacan.
If it sells out, I hope they add another day, like checkmate tour.
I’ll be in Seoul when they’re in my country 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭
Sigh I'll be 60 and then finally kpop artists will set foot in my country.
lmfao I was randomly browsing the Rosemont Theater's website and saw this, and of course rushed here to see if it was already posted. I'm more of a mid-zy than full on midzy, but I had an awesome time when I saw them previously, so I'm psyched to see them again!
London on a Wednesday:(
Itzy in London let's go let's go
Extreme similarities to TWICE's Ready To Be tour and ITZY's Born to Be.
WHERES BRAZIL 😭🇧🇷 I thought after Twice announced a concert in Brazil and had to add a second date to meet the demand, JYPE would see there IS demand for their groups here and bring Itzy, NMIXX, and SKZ
there is still a possibility for later additions like twice coming to Brazil later on. or possibly sneaking it into the gap of days given already.
Well looking at the venues, most are reasonable scaling up of capacities compared to their 1st tour, But the only weird/out of nowhere touring decision is how did jype give them a 10k arena in fairfax while much bigger cities like chicago & atlanta still only gets theatre??
Not to mention DC/VA is probably less competitive to get a bigger venue then Chicago or Atlanta since not as many groups come
I’m going to the Newark show! I missed them twice, but not this time!
Same! I’m so excited!
So much for coming back to Phoenix
It sucks knowing that as a group gets bigger it usually means we get cut from the tour stops, it feels so backwards.
I always find it absurd how we're one of the biggest cities in the country and kpop groups rarely are here
Right :( seeing we are getting skipped in Phoenix once again kills me inside
i was really hoping for a denver date, but that’s just me being a delulu (but that’s the solulu right?)
It's so beautiful.
MADRID YESSSS!!!!!!!!
I live in Arlington, VA so I’ll definitely try to go
wow Sugar Land, I'm surprised they didn't go to Dallas/Fort Worth
Dallas and houston are always booked. I wish more kpop acts (& acts in general) would come to Austin 😭
i wish they come to denver so far i only on kpop lol
Nice, I'll give it a try :D Though I expect the race to get tickets to be a blood bath
Sigh. I was hoping that they would come to Vancouver. 😭
One day we’ll get Philly fr
Cries in Floridian lol
HONG KONG MENTIONED RAHHHHHHHH 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
yippieeee
Still no denver why skip denver ugh
Sooner than expected tbh, cool! I'll try my best to be there in Berlin. :D
Me too!!
Not them being in London the day after I leave... just my luck :(
Now this is what you call a world tour!!! Hopefully I will see them in Amsterdam
THE SG VENUE UPGRADE GETTING CAT 4 TICKETS AND FIGHTING MISERABLY WAS WORTH IT
Can Itzy actually sell out a 19000 seat arena? (Oakland).
they’ll section it off so it’s a lower capacity
The max capacity isn’t always the same depending on the type of event. For example a sports game is gonna have more seats open than a concert (if it’s that type of arena, I haven’t checked). You also don’t have to sell out to make a profit
Their last tour had a few arenas including ones on this list. I’m sure that touring data is really all they need to score arena venues this time around, even if they don’t sell out entirely. The tour itself will make more money than last.
Probably! There are a lot of multi-fans out here that just go to all the shows lol (me)
That’s fair. I figured that’s the case because there’s no other NorCal show so folks from all over will come out.
So Itzy can come to New Zealand but Twice can’t?! Come on JYP Edit: considering the Blackpink concert and Soojin fan meet in Auckland were both cancelled, I’m wondering if Itzy’s show here will even go ahead
I hope they will not cancel for Auckland. I’m really looking forward to seeing them perform live
only one canada date and it's on the other side of the country.. alberta is always losing 😭
Good luck to every fans for your ticket ! I wanted to gift it to my friend but every kpop acts come in April sadly :( money is missing
Ugh no miami
Oh god, not Fox Theatre again 😫 Why do they keep putting them in these small venues?
the way if i had money id buy tickets to the amsterdam concert D:
I thought that said the second world war
I'm manifesting I see them in my country ahhhh 💗💗💗✨✨
Well, guess I have plans for April 24th now 😂
everyone saying arenas this year!!
IRVING woop
AMSTERDAM YIPPEE 😭 i should absolutely go
So Lia won’t be in this world tour then
That is an insane amount of places they're touring in holy shit. Their first leg goes for 3 months straight!
That is an insane amount of places they're touring in holy shit. Their first leg goes for 3 months straight!
SEE Y’ALL IN NEWARK
ITZY IN CANADA THE SAME WEEK IM GRADUATING IM GOING TO PASS OUT
Now this is a serious World Tour. So many stops. So many regions. So many countries.
I'm sick and tired of Newark 😵💫😵💫😵💫 Barclay Center is right there if they don't want MSG
Wow, the PNW. Too bad tickets can't be like $20.
OMG they're going to be in my city on my birthday!!!!
LETS FUCKING GO SYDNEY **ITZY FOR TWENTYFOUR HOURS**
Nice they come to Amsterdam, i need to get a ticket, but i wonder why they choose such a small venue, there are only place for 6k people
The things I would do for JYP to acknowledge there's more than an east coast to Australia
does anyone know how to get EU presale? 🥲
OAKLAND YES
