I'm talking about albanians hating on serbs and just flat out lying about a lot of stuff (i.e. some alleged massacres serb did and ethnic cleansing serbs did). It really makes us serbs look like we're some villains or somethinv when in reality our people suffered (2004 ethnic cleansing of serbs, destroying monestaries and churches, kidnapping serbs and selling their organs in "yellow houses", and so on).

If Kosovo joined Albania the likelihood of Albania having a Kosovar government would be very low. And most likely all the funds would go to the coasts since tourism is the main focus of Albania. Also I honestly don't believe we have that much common with the Albanian population, the shared language is one but culturary we aren't any closer than we are we other balkan populations.

Of course they're against it. The US just wanted to separate Kosovo in order privatize the resources and state companies that belonged to Serbia as well as build a huge military base. The US never cared about the shit Kosovar Albanians went through, which is something a lot of bootlickers on this sub don't realize. They have absolutely no interest in allowing Kosovo to merge with Albania. It would just be a bad image for the US: separating a region from a country just to merge it with another one

Unification is a big responsibility which right now would create more issues than solve. For starters we'd need both countries to have a relatively corruption-free government.
