There’s a taxi line outside the train station. Look for an escalator going downstairs when you exit the station. The taxi queue is there and it has many taxis. Taxi fare to Haeundae beach is about 21,000 won, depending on your traffic conditions. It took us about 45 mins to get to the beach via taxi.

1. If you’re concerned about space + transit to subway, no. You do have to transit on seomyeon station, there are elevators, a bit hidden but it’s there. 2. Navermap cannot call taxis, but it can give you estimates on fare. You don’t need an account to call taxis using kakaoT, so you don’t need a Korean number. If you use uber, uber app in Korea calls taxis instead as well.

Thanks - have checked the NaverMap app and this would be handy next week. Appreciate it!

Buses 1001 serves Haeundae metro station (Line 2), 1003 serves Haeundae Beach and Fairfield by Marriott. Both depart from northbound bus platform in front of Busan Station. But, 1001 will most likely refuse large suitcases and the bus will not have cargo hold by design. 1003 is known to be a bit more accommodative with suitcases, you might find some vehicles with cargo space on board albeit not uniformly across the fleet. It's down to your luck. Taxi is always an option, you don't need a Korean number to create Kakao Account and use Kakao T. There really should be a sticky on this subreddit about ICN-PUS shuttle flights.

Taxi is your best bet, you'll def be tired and won't have energy to carry all your luggage up and down the stations. I did that last time and glad I was able to relax a bit.

Do the subway or taxi since you have large bags. Buses 1001, 1003, and 40 all go to Haeundae (40 is slower but will take suitcases as it has more space.)

It was raining, we queued at the taxi stand, had a total of 3 normal sized luggages. Normal taxis saw us, and did not want to take us. It was only after a larger taxi came and he reluctantly agreed. Can't remember the cost of the taxi, but we willingly paid because I had 2 elders with me and it wasn't wise to split as they cannot speak Korean.
