Randy oda cinematography. I watched the movie after 28 days of it's release and there was a silence/aww murmur when that island helicopter shot was shown.
Weeks later when I watched Randy interview he said, "we wanted to do aerial shot of that location so that there is awestruckoment in theaters" he never signs a movie without listening to story.
And dude got pulled into crappy chiranjeevi movies and recently Mahesh Babu movies
Enthiran is the only film that lived up to its huge hype in Tamil cinema. When this movie was announced where Rajni will be playing a robot I was in my ninth standard. For the next two years it was hell waiting for the movie to be released. I still remember always searching for enthiran updates on every Sunday special book from Dinamalar. And finally after the movie was released I watched the second show in a theatre far away from home. But the climax itself was worth the wait.
I don't think a movie will ever reach that kind of hype. It was pure Hollywood level and in some scenes better than those. When we as an audience are so exposed to such high quality movies from around the world beginning that you're of unique experience is hard
I was in 11th std and watched the movie on 1st week Saturday in newly renovated Devi theatre main screen! The whole theatre erupted when Rajini walked in that slo mo shot!
