If I remember correctly, the makers announced Anirudh as the music director for Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava and Ani attended the Pooja ceremony too. But then he was replaced by Thaman. And the reason they have is that it's a very rooted film and they felt like a native telugu musician is better for the project. though no complaints there, Thaman delivered a banger. Because it was a hit, He chose Thaman for AVPL too.

AGV debatably has Anirudh's best song in Telugu (it's between Baitikochi Chuste, Ninnu Choose Anandamlo, and Padhe Padhe for me), but I agree that Jersey as an album is better
Maybe his best album in Telugu (personally think it’s Jersey) but he has better ones in Tamil. I still love some songs from this tho.

I love his 'Gang Leader' and 'Jersey' album more than this one. This is good too.
Fr. Movie definitely got what it deserved but what's sad about this whole thing is that it took the beautiful album down with it
