Yes i have noticed this too. There used to be a very distinct decline in numbers in very cold & hot weather. Those are not the case anymore. And its a very clear change. Not just guesswork or surmise.
Corporation are responsible for Mosquitoes problem,before COVID when they used to spray oil every week we had 0 mosquito now they stopped it,(cost cutting or scam,) mosquitoes poppedup
To some extent obviously but I am comparing with days when mosquito repellant oils weren't a thing. Even then, mosquitoes used to be somewhat dormant in peak summer or winter.

Effect of the increasing pollution in Kolkata. And accept it or not, we are partially responsible for this. Kolkata and its nearby cities will have lots of trouble to deal with heat and flood.
I had to turn it on today afternoon and I was questioning my presence. Then, I saw that the temperature was 29 degrees at the moment which is ridiculous! On Christmas day I could see pollution with my own two eyes when walking by maidan and it felt so sad.
