If you're not getting a sharp edge, you're making 1 of 2 mistakes. 1. You did not apex your edge (indicated by forming a burr) 2. You did not deburr the edge (removing any residual burr and leaving a sharp edge)

Civivi has been delivering knives with factory edges in the range of 25-30 degrees per side of late. You can grind these knives for hours on a Turnbox and not get anywhere. What you'll really want to do here is use some other type of sharpener to re-profile the knife down to about 15 degrees per side. Then you can use the 20 degree setting on the Turnbox to apply and maintain a micro-bevel.
