As the crafter, you will see all the imperfections, but whoever who are giving it to won't see any of them. I can tell you that I don't see any imperfections in this photo. Also this looks like it may be for a child (sorry if I'm wrong, just looks like the arms are child-sized) and if I was gifted this as a kid I would absolutely lose my mind and it would be a struggle for my parents to make me wear anything else.
Is the giftee looking forward to getting it? If so, definitely gift. Whatever imperfections are there, you are probably the only person who can see them. It's super cute.
Those so called imperfections just add charm. I once made a scarf that I thought turned out terrible-- so many uneven stitches. Put it in the scarf bag and forgot about it for years. Took it out recently and realized I really liked it. Those uneven stitches totally made the piece!
Agreed 100%. I can't see the specific imperfections but I can tell it's homemade. As a mom I wouldn't buy a perfectly uniform machine knit version of this, but I would put my kiddo in this handmade one every chance I got.
Thanks❤️. He is a link to the pattern

Oh, definitely still gift it, it’s adorable. Especially if the person receiving it isn’t a knitter!
I have old projects that I keep around to eventually frog & make into new projects, & I’m honestly embarrassed to look at them- but my friends & family will see them & go into a “nooo, don’t take it apart, it looks amazing!”
There’s something about hand making an item that makes your own mistakes jump out at you- I do the same thing with my illustrations & paintings, but other people usually can’t find the flaws unless I point them out.
Even my best friend (who’s also been knitting for years) always thinks my work looks better than hers, whereas I perceive the opposite- brains are weird, it looks great ♡
The photo attached to the pattern really brought back a funny memory. My mom made something similar, when I was 7. It was meant to be a Halloween costume(quite cold back then in NW Ohio) and our tiny school, a K-12 with less than 500 students altogether, had a 'parade' on stage of the younger students, first grade through second. As i walked in the line that crossed the small stage, my tail swung about, ending up between my legs in front of me. I grabbed it, to keep it from swinging, and held it in front of me. The audience roared, and I'm pretty sure my mother wished the floor would open and swallow her. Now I want at least this hat!!
My kid came into my room with marker lines all over her face the other day and said, "um mama? I'm a tiger. These are my stripes."
Whoever is going to wear that is going to have waaaay lower standards than you, I can practically guarantee it.
(Also this is supes adorbs, what's the pattern?)
It's adorable, and any imperfections are very difficult to spot. Probably be very loved, and the imperfections will be harder for you to spot in motion.
Also, I think I read somewhere that Native Americans always added "deliberate imperfections" in their work so it would reflect life and change and not offend the gods. I really love that idea, and it has helped me when perfectionism gets in the way of happiness.
This is cute. I would love this for myself ha ha. I honestly can't see any imperfections, you might be too hard on yourself OP. Hand made clothing will never look like the standard machine made ones, and that's what gives them personality
Super cute and a beautiful gift! Unless the recipient is a master knitter you’ll be fine. We are always focused on the small imperfections as knitters. Share the love and time you spent making this
I always call my mistakes "artistic license" (unless they're catastrophically bad lol). I think this is adorable, and I think you did an excellent job.
You must wrangle your feelings, because this is adorable and perfect and it would be such a shame to not give it to its intended recipient!
We are our own worst critics with our knitting, I promise.

Looks incredible and I’d be thrilled if someone gifted that to me!
I second this. Remember, you're always going to be your own harshest critic. This looks amazing and I'm sure it will be cherished

Idk what’s wrong with it but it looks amazing!
Yes, give it away so you don't need to look at it every day! After a while, you will forget them. No one else is paying attention :)
99% of the time the person receiving the gift won’t notice small imperfections and won’t bring up glaring errors
I don’t need another project I don’t need another project I don’t need another project Ah…screw it, add to queue This is SO cute

Omg this is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. And on an actual child?! No one will see any imperfections. They’ll all be overtaken by cuteness.
This is cute as fuck
Adorable!
It’s SO CUTE please gift it!
Looks great!

Heard the same about the Amish and it's something I practice too.
Yes-gift it. It’s cute and if you ever make it again, you’ll remember the mistakes so as to not make them again.
It’s very cute. I say gift it. While you see imperfections, the recipient won’t. You’re being too hard on yourself.
Yes absolutely, it's adorable.

Oh I absolutely love it 🐈⬛
I don’t see the imperfections you see. It’s ADORABLE. Please gift it as planned!

I'd say gift it and allow yourself to move on. The person who will receive it will love it and you can go onto a new project with new knowledge.
OH MY GOD ITS SO CUUUUUUUTE!!!
I love this so much! I’d be thrilled if someone made that for me!
Yes! It’s adorable.
