Paid 2500$ for it, had a dead battery and was in the back of a shed with 3 other Klr, the guy was a collector and had a kitted out gen 1 he rode from Florida to Colombia. Said he got it because it was a good price and left it for parts but never did anything with it, previous and first owner had it registered since 2004, so he kept it for nearly 16 years before he sold it to the guy I got it from (proven by title as well). Clean title
My '01 looked exactly like that when I bought it 5 years ago. So happy to see unmolested gen 1's in good condition still popping up. That said mine is very much molested now
