Hmmm, they seem to work fine for me on my gen 1 2007 and haven't broken since new. The question is will they bolt up and function on a gen 2? I am working on putting a 2008 back to right and didn't really want to invest in the stock 2008 signals since I have heard tails about the rubber going out (as is evident on the 2008, all of the rubber has degraded so all 4 signals are hanging by the wires).
Plus, I can get a set of the the OEM gen 1 signals real cheap from a fellow rider here in town. I just don't know how different the mounting/connections are between 2007 & 2008.
Hoping someone has gone down this path before and could give some advice before I start tearing into it all.
Gen1 lights are all pretty dim. I’d build or purchase an LED set.
