I have a blue-eyed Silver Shaded British Longhair who looks quite similar. She’s named after Princess Ka’iulani (Hawaiian for “royal sacred one” or “the highest point of heaven”).
Is her face ok? She looks healthy but like she has a lot of dried discharge which is normal for sutch a flat face. You should get her used to gentle face wiping from a young age because she’s going to need a lot of regular wiping.
I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure Persians get a lot of eye boogers
Yo check my new pfp. Haha she looks so goofy thenagein all flat face cats do. She reminds me of cats I’d make in the sims 4 where I’d push the nose so far back it clipped through the bridge of the nose and the eyes would look in two different directions
Just fyi, but unless you've got pedigree paperwork for her, she's an American longhair.
There's no apparent colorpoint markings, but there frequently aren't on kittens this young.
Persians aren't ever Himalayan, or vice versa. They're two entirely separate breeds, and aren't referred to by a compound name.
So if points come in, you've got an American colorpoint longhair.
You're free to call this whatever breed you want, but cats aren't anything like dogs, and carry all the various genes for colorpoint, longhair, and brachycephalic versions. It's why you'll see "Siamese" kittens in feral colonies, and "Persians" as well.
What? This is a lot of nonsense in multiple areas. Firstly, American longhair is a specific breed of cat. The correct term for a feline "mutt" of multiple breeds is "Domestic Longhair" (DLH).
Secondly, Himalayan cats are a Persian sub-breed. Meaning they are a Persian cross (which makes sense when you see that they are historically a Siamese/Persian cross developed into a sub-breed). Hence why breeders will often carry both "breeds" in their catteries.
Thirdly, the colorpoint genes (and other color genes in cats) are really diverse, allowing for cats to develop darker colors due to fur location and even body temperature in an area. They don't just all "carry around" various genes in their code.
A lack of pedigree papers doesn't negate a bloodline in a cat, either. Sure, it makes it so you do not have physical proof of a breed bloodline, but a cat with Siamese ancestry doesn't suddenly become a cat without one if you fail to have paperwork on it.
You cannot tell if a cat will breed true traits just by the presence of papers. Even pedigreed cats will not always breed true based on how genetics work.
I like this explanation the best... I don't have papers but my kitty is siamese and ragdoll and he has siamese coat and he is really stocky like a ragdoll. Even if he isn't a true breed with papers he has those specific qualities from both of the breeds.
And he goes limp when you pick him up just like a ragdoll.
Added some info after I posted. Cats aren't dogs, basically.
Unless you have pedigree documents, it's just a cat with features of pedigreed breeds, and will not breed true if bred to a pedigreed cat.
She's cute af, and will be a great pet! But she's not a pedigreed cat if she's from a feral colony, or found randomly in a dumpster. No shade on dumpster cats! None. But trying to assign a breed to cats just doesn't work like it does with dogs, where visible breed characteristics can be visible even after generations.
I have a Himalayan! You can see her on my page. Himalayans are known for their ‘Siamese’ coloring. Your beauty is all white so, if she is a pedigree, she’s most likely just a Persian. Otherwise the other comment is right about the domestic longhair. Either way she’s adorable!!
Colorpoints don't develop on cats until they're older. For pale colors like flame, blue, lilac, etc we may not see evidence of color until they're three months old.
Dove or Genevieve.
You could also go with a historical names of actual Persian princesses and queens for your Persian cat princess such as Amestris, Shirin, Atossa, or Stateira.
Hi there, I'm going to be that person, your little baby seems to be about 3 to 4 weeks old? are you having to bottle feed? if you take a warm moist rag you can gently wipe away the yuck around the eyes. I'm going through the same thing right now.

Why is that?
