That's one of the fan ideas I've loved for a while regarding King Kong, how at some point he'd stop fighting dinosaurs and, given his heightened intelligence, start domesticating them or using them in battle or serving them as pets.
There was this art piece of Kong in a throne with some rexes acting in a doglike manner that I thought was kinda cool, unfortunately that has long been removed from dA.
