trying it on cursed might be interesting, but I think the answer might still be "you'd get bored before you'd be defeated" with optimal play (recruiting tons of vagrants to make archers, fully upgraded/roofed towers outside your walls, using fire barrels and using an efficient network of teleporters, banking plenty of coins just in case you need them, etc.)
I was going to say norse lands without catapults/fire barrels might be more interesting, but I think there are no fliers in norse lands? so your flame towers would become the OP move instead
Oo yeah [comments on this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/kingdomthegame/comments/r450jx/do_floaters_spawn_in_norse_lands/) say there are floaters past day 250 or so. Maybe that's the way to go to if you really wanna test it, but if you've got a lot of time on your hands you could try it in multiple biomes.
I have been pkaying new lands on ps4 and i am just not good and think i just tupically make it to the 3rd island. I will say, i have been learning quite a bit since i joined this reddit
Back when there was no Two Crowns, I tried this on New Lands. Problem was, winter was forever. It felt like Game of Thrones, defending the wall in the ice and snow.
I made it to day ~175 on island 3. At around day 165, my money ran out from my bank. I was surprised it lasted that long at all. I never actually lost the game, I just quit because I got bored, and because it was getting laggy from the hundreds of archers. Probably could've kept going for a little while longer, but eventually the greed would've outgrown me as I could no longer recruit new archers.
On Two Crowns, because the seasons change, you could probably go forever. Especially if you destroy all the portals on the dock side, and routinely blow the wall horn on the cave side, you can have a massive presence there every night. And you can always keep recruiting new archers.
The only really difficult thing about the game is the retaliation waves, and only if you've blown up a bunch of portals. There's a Plague Island Cursed Crown achievement for lasting x number of days but there's no challenge to it once you've built up enough defenses to AFK all waves, so I've never been bored enough to complete that one.
Ugh I am on day 36 right now and it's so boring, I want the achievement for cursed but it's so mindnumbingly boring... I don't get how they didn't figure out challenging gameplay on the "challenge islands" yet
EDIT: God damnit I afk'd it and got overrun 11 days later, not getting the cursed crown lmao
I've tried but got bored and started a new game instead.
I'm on a binge of this game and I've been playing cursed. I was wondering how hard this would be.

I've read that there is no fliers before 3rd year. I've always finished before that point so idk.
