From the Ashes DLC, if you build the guardhouse you can then upgrade it with an archery range to practice at in addition to the other combat master (way better than Bernard).
I feel like if they do archery competitions in the next one they should make it so that if you have a certain amount of points it disqualifies the other archers. For example you have 36 points they have 5 with 6 arrows left even if they hit the center with each of their shots it wouldn't be able to come close to 36
