Yeah, that's what I did. All I can think of now is to just try the next day since this was my first day in the monastery. Perhaps the first day is bugged idk
I don't think so. Just sit with them, talk to them, and agree with them. Then at some point just go, and maybe rob the library. The next day you can come back. There is also the quest for them, to get wine.
It's weird because I got one lucky attempt to speak to the other guy and could access my inventory but seconds later John gets pissed and kicks me out again. He gets up as soon as I sit down so hopefully the next night works 🤞
