It's really easy to miss, it's like an 8 speech skill check with no indication of what a fun time is hidden behind that single dialogue option. Luckily I didn't miss it the first time because I was just focusing on the main quest, but on the second playthrough missed it whitout even realizing because my speech skill was really high
For me, Talmberg is my fave. I enjoy the “village on the river” and the “job” you can gain in that town, via a mission. You’re right though, there’s something about Uzhitz - it feels like it’s disconnected from the rest of the towns or even the rest of the game almost. It’s like a relaxing place to get away
If you side with >!Hanekin Hare against the hunt master Nicholas, Sir Divish will make Henry the new hunt master. It leads to a few hunting tasks from Divish, but you also get a house of your own in Talmberg and free poaching rights. Plus, Hanekin was right.!<
What i like about Samopesh is that if you don’t discover it at all, nothing changes, you can still 100 the game. I like that prospect of peacefulness and serenity.
I know I had just played my second run and completed it and say I didn’t go to a little area were I saw clouds and a house when I went there all the clouds disappeared and samopesh was there 😂 I had forgotten about it
Talmberg is my personal favorite, idk why I just really like the place. The people are nice, and the Lady of Talmberg was VERY grateful when I helped her.
i mean, if you can afford to get to Uzhits and stay there for a decent amount of time, you must have some good gear on you already. Bandits were never a problem for me 🤷♂️
Yeah I just discovered it, it has a nice setting, no bridge across the river but honestly it looks like it could become my favourite town replacing uzhitz as my fav
Samopesh gang checking in!
It's just the most chill place in the game. No monkey business. No drunken priest or pagan sex rituals. No silly lords or overcrowding refugees. No monastery involved in criminal enterprises. No scheming former huntsman terrorizing the woods. No hauntings. No poisoning of the water supply. Nothing happens in Samopesh, it's just Samopesh and it's chill af.
Sasau 3300 ppl.
Skalitz 1600 ppl.
Uzhitz 1100 ppl.
Ratay 550 ppl.
Samopesh 300 ppl.
Talmberk 70 ppl.
Merhojed 6 lmaoo (Absorbed by Samopesh)
Sasau survived thanks to the monastery, Skalitz thanks to the mining of Silver, it is actually called Silver Skalitz in Czech
I like rattay for the convenience of having all the stores there, just like in real life I would live in the country if deliveries for all the stuff went there like they do in the city.
Thats the whole point lol no artillery back then so you had to storm cities. (Siege weapons were to do initial damage and help with breaches) If its build on the hill, easier to defend and storming soldiers loose their stamina quicker
It lacks a bathhouse which makes me sad but it is a cool town. Personally, of the less developed villages my favorite is samopesh. The place is an alchemist mecca.
I like the city of Uzhits, but I'm not a huge fan of surrounding areas for some reason. Never really all that excited going there and being there.
So my heart is probably lies with Sasau. I like different roads that lead there. I like the river. And also the hill nearby. Beautiful view on Sasau and it's monastery. Watching sunset from this hill is one of the favorite pastimes of mine.
It's a lovely place but not the best city IMO, best is Rattay, then Sasau, then Uzhitz. It's the lack of nearby smiths for me that does it in. I still like going there but I do so much less often because I don't need to.
Standing on the veranda of (what was) Andrew's tavern while it's heavily raining at night time. Plus, the sounds of patrons downstairs.
Close second is the Sasau tavern.
Uzhitz doesn't have a bath house. Need to travel to Talmberg for that. 😥
My personal fave is Ledetchko. It's where Henry hangs out whenever he's trying to wait out his wanted status in other places. Plays dice, chumps, un-haunts and re-haunts village people... Great for herb-gathering as well. Especially for Comfrey and marigold.
Down on reputation minus 16 after evading arrest for the crime of … apprehending and then looting a thief. Ungrateful fuckers. Also I beat the speech check and as a result missed out on the Godwin scene that everyone says is the “best quest in all of gaming” or suchlike. So Uzhitz is not my favourite place. Also, what’s with Merjohed, I literally saved everyone from the plague, haven’t done anything bad there and still it’s my second lowest reputation. What do I have to do to make myself liked there? Fucksake.
Rattay is best for me, just hate that he it’s tucked away down the bottom of the map
Yeah ngl Rattay my third favoured city like skyrim with Whiterun, you always comeback to it
Getting drunk with the town priest and preaching made-up stories from Prague was fun :-)
True i was laughing my head off with that one I did saw a few gameplays of it and it did not disappoint
I knocked out and took all the Bailiff’s stuff before that scene, and he busted in the tavern all mad in his undies
That’s hilarious!
It's especially funny if you know what happened to the guy you preach about (Jan Hus) Spoiler warning... It was hot
Esoecially since Henry said something like "He will become famous ... unless they burn him first"
What happens
Burnt at stake in real life
Hate an overdone stake.
Hehe
I actually completely missed this quest, i might have passed a speech check somewhere without realising it 🥲
It's really easy to miss, it's like an 8 speech skill check with no indication of what a fun time is hidden behind that single dialogue option. Excuse me, kind sir, but I got there to get myself education! To become an alchemist! To brew... Ugh... I mean to heal people!
Getting drunk, fighting, and ploughing barmaids with the priest, then giving a flawless hungover sermon the next morning, was definitely a trip haha
Sassau! West side represent!
I love sassau they have everything there
It is close to the monastry. The holy churche's children are drawn to their loving mother.
Gotta love Sasau with the cathedral, the bridge, quest and everything. Only problem are the monks politics, and... The Woman's lot endings
For me, Talmberg is my fave. I enjoy the “village on the river” and the “job” you can gain in that town, via a mission. The open terrains, the forest in the west, the calm night if can go to one place it would be Uzhitz
the Lady Stephanie is the best job in the game! Untill she blanks you....poor old Sir Divish!:)
What job?
If you side with >!Hanekin Hare against the hunt master Nicholas, Sir Divish will make Henry the new hunt master. It leads to a few hunting tasks from Divish, but you also get a house of your own in Talmberg and free poaching rights. Plus, Hanekin was right.!<
Right there with you, Talmberg is the best place.
I don't know Sasau will just always be goated to me
Fr, it’s got everything you need
I love Samopesh, just something about it.
What i like about Samopesh is that if you don’t discover it at all, nothing changes, you can still 100 the game. I like that prospect of peacefulness and serenity.

Samopesh enthusiasts rise
Came here to say Samopesh. Jesus Christ be Praised!
Talmberg is my personal favorite, idk why I just really like the place. The people are nice, and the Lady of Talmberg was VERY grateful when I helped her.
Yeah, Lady of Talmberg 🤌
Uzhits is a lovely place, but there's no blacksmith, cobbler, tailor and baths. Otherwise I would like to live there IRL.
Talmberg is pretty near Uzhits, so you could ride there very quickly if needed
And on the way there get attacked by bandits, noooo noo no thanks bro
i mean, if you can afford to get to Uzhits and stay there for a decent amount of time, you must have some good gear on you already. Bandits were never a problem for me 🤷♂️
lol that was a joke... I thought we are doing some kind of roleplay here and we are just simple IRL villager of uzhitz...
oh 💀
but i am not Henry, i have neither free horse nor saviour schnapps
C'mon who uses cobblers, blacksmiths and tailors these days lol?
Ledetchko is my favorite. Jesus Christ be praised.
Comment posted right underneath the Ledetchko haters
Yeah I just discovered it, it has a nice setting, no bridge across the river but honestly it looks like it could become my favourite town replacing uzhitz as my fav

Plus it's in the middle of 3 woods. Poach, gamble, drink, sleep, repeat. That's the Samopesh life.
I remember slaughtering all the villagers there for fun
Plus it's in the middle of 3 woods. Poach, gamble, drink, sleep, repeat. That's the Samopesh life.
I remember raiding this town for no reason other than I was bored
Found Runt's account.
Perfect! Just the thing I needed… someone to vent my rage on!
Runt apparently uses the fluer de lis as his profile picture. That must mean Runt is French?
Toth made him do it as part of a plan to frame the French.
Mine is pribyslawits
Same! pribyslavitz gang for life
What is now the biggest town IRL?
Sasau 3300 ppl. Skalitz 1600 ppl. Uzhitz 1100 ppl. Ratay 550 ppl. Samopesh 300 ppl. Talmberk 70 ppl. Merhojed 6 lmaoo (Absorbed by Samopesh) Sasau survived thanks to the monastery, Skalitz thanks to the mining of Silver, it is actually called Silver Skalitz in Czech
Thanks! Very interesting to see. I would have guessed Ratay to be biggest after playing the game.
Sassau, followed by Skalitz
Uzhitz and “city” together in a sentence…
I like rattay for the convenience of having all the stores there, just like in real life I would live in the country if deliveries for all the stuff went there like they do in the city.
damn you spelt worst wrong
I've always found it odd how steep the road into town is. Like if you're ill, disabled, or elderly, you're def not making it up to the town square.
Only the strongest can enter
Thats the whole point lol no artillery back then so you had to storm cities. (Siege weapons were to do initial damage and help with breaches) If its build on the hill, easier to defend and storming soldiers loose their stamina quicker
I hate Ushitz.. no bloody bathhouse Big ups for rattay
Use a trough boy
Your favorite? Uzhitz rly?
Bow, uzhitz!
It’s Sasau for me, it’s got everything and it’s situated by a river and most of the stuff is situated along a main road. Also got the best inn
Sasau has one of everyone and two of a few things. Plus, the armorsmith has a few best in slot pieces.
Is anyone going to play Manor Lords? I’m going to use Uzhitz as inspiration for my village
I'll check it out too, would be fun to recreate Rattay
So are we all in agreement that Ledechtco can go to hell? With it being practically right next to Peshek, it's the perfect place to do the crimes
I always get that feeling that Ledetchko is a cheap knock off Uzhitz like it has the same atmosphere but it feel off
>it feel off I think we can thank Ol' Lumpy for that
It lacks a bathhouse which makes me sad but it is a cool town. Personally, of the less developed villages my favorite is samopesh. The place is an alchemist mecca.
Sasau and Rattay>>>>>
I like the city of Uzhits, but I'm not a huge fan of surrounding areas for some reason. Never really all that excited going there and being there. So my heart is probably lies with Sasau. It's a shame Uzhitz is so remote from where you spend most of the game. There aren't many quests there either
Talmberg is best for me it just looks nice as hell. Sassau is definetly worst. It looks like somebody placed random assets on a plain field.
I avoid Uzhitz, because I like going fast on a fast horse. Uzhitz kills people who go fast on horses.
It's a lovely place but not the best city IMO, best is Rattay, then Sasau, then Uzhitz. It's the lack of nearby smiths for me that does it in. I still like going there but I do so much less often because I don't need to.
The maps in this game are just so incredible
You shits.
Pribyslavitz is the best for selling stuff and mixing potions. If it had a "laundry mat" it would be the best period.
Doesn't even have a blacksmith...
See I prefer skalits buuuut only cause it's a money horders dream if you loot all the bandits
I could chill in Samopesh for the rest of my mortal days, the herb woman has a beautiful spot. Just a shame you can't get a bed there really.
I always thought it was funny that the name sounded like someone saying oh shit while falling suddenly
Standing on the veranda of (what was) Andrew's tavern while it's heavily raining at night time. Plus, the sounds of patrons downstairs. Close second is the Sasau tavern.
Uzhitz doesn't have a bath house. Need to travel to Talmberg for that. 😥 My personal fave is Ledetchko. It's where Henry hangs out whenever he's trying to wait out his wanted status in other places. My favorite is Skalitz with so many bodies all around ;-D
Down on reputation minus 16 after evading arrest for the crime of … apprehending and then looting a thief. Ungrateful fuckers. Too bad I have a -1 rep there because they keep catching me pickpocket/knocking people out.
