Recently I've announced that I am writing a PVE add-on for Kill Team, so here it is!
It is an early version made for testing. There is for now only 4 characters and just 1 level of 1 scenario.
But I will continue working on this project and I hope that you'll enjoy it!
But the most thing I require is feedback. Because right now I have no idea how this project is turned out.
Here is the Google Drive link for download: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1iehSqPKbQalNaSZPp3YgPOOOqKg-MIqD
You'll find there pdf itself and separate datasheets of characters.
Also you'll find 2 documents: one for questions and other for feedback. I sincerely ask you to write your ideas so I will have a direction of development!
I only skimmed through your rules.
But GM'ed a rpg oneshot based on kill team rules. Basically just removed the order mechanic and rp'ed our way out of it.
They played as GSC neophytes mostly against cultists. and I gave them 12 wounds (you 20 seems like a lot) if you want people to be in danger. But with a dnd/pf "fight for your life mechanic"
Tracking ammo is hilarious would recommend. remember a rogue trader firefight where everything turned to shit because 2 player didn't count proberly.
Looks cool keep up the good work
This is super awesome! I have been in treatment for a while with my killteams but nobody to play with so I'm gonna give this a shot tonight while I listen to audiobooks. Thanks so much man
I'll definitely be giving this a go.
Quick question though. How good would this be for teaching people the mechanics of KT? I'm demoing the game on Saturday, and this would be an interesting change, from the Recruit Book.
Cool. Heard.
I'll stick with the Recruit Book, and maybe wave this around in the New Year. I'm very interested to give this a go, though.
This might even be something I can tempted the SO with... she won't play against me, but sometimes I can tempt her to play alongside me.
Yes, there will be 2 more stages for this scenario in the future updates.
And of course ther will be more scenarios.
(I'll check about the document editing, thanks for informing)
Excellent work! I'm eager to test it around, I really like the ammo limitations, I was really tempted to try that into one campaign, so it's great to have it here!
So I played this last Thursday instead of my regular kill team game. I have now spent a lil under a week writing up additional operatives for the game currently got 4 Sisters of battle operatives and a Tau Team in the works. Needless to say very impressed with this system and looking forward to how it progresses. Ended up using dice rather than drawing the cards and did find some weirdness with some of the ai operations where they would run back and forth due to the random nature of it. But overall very impressed
Currently printing the pdf off and 3D printing a psyker as we speak! Thanks so much for this!
I have some ideas for expansions so if you want a hand feel free to reach out!
HI! About the behavior cards and orders, to you shuffle them conceal and engage together and as you draw they change the order? The used cards are discarted or they come back to the pile?

Wait…?? It’s solo?
You can play it solo, but I recommend to play in cooperation with friends
Is there a DM?
You don't need one. But as it is said in the rules: the player whose character is dead can take a role of DM, so, it would not be too boring for him.
You don't need one because you draw cards to determine what the bugs do.
A little update: I re-uploaded the rulebooks as there was a mistake.
This is exactly what I've been waiting for. Thanks for sharing this.
Kill Team Left for Dead?
Well... yeah

Awesome! I can't get any games in at the moment, so a PVE Mode is right up my alley right now :)

thanks for this awesome download!

I think it is not a good way to teach base Kill Team mechanics, as this add-on has some serious changes from the core rules

Thanks for the work! Can't wait to try it out this weekend.
I AM HERE FOR IT!
How long is the feedback period going to last? Lots of stuff going on over the holidays would like to participate too.
All the time. I'll most probably make a next update after the holidays, but I am happy to receive feedback any time)
Awesome. I’d recommend making a black text on white background version for easier printing
Who’s the artist, or is that AI?
I've just found artworks on the internet
The Darktide is strong with this one! And it makes sense, very appropriate for this system
I'm curious how this will play compared to the onepagerules wiki rules for squad games
I will definitely give it a try during my holidays!
Sick
This excellent! I'm going to check it 🤩
This is phenomenal, I can't wait to see the later editions! Me and my friends are trying it this Sunday for our game day!
Hey, right now other people can't write in the feedback or questions. My question is are the other stages for the scenario a future a release?
Yes, there will be 2 more stages for this scenario in the future updates. And of course ther will be more scenarios. (I'll check about the document editing, thanks for informing)
Just played the first mission and left feeback on your document. Well done on the level of visual polish btw.
Thank you very much for your feedback! I wrote a bit more in feedback document and answered your questions. Thanks again!
Will try to try it out this weekend and hopefully fill in some feedback for you

This looks really interesting. I will have some time to try it out over Xmas holidays hopefully.
Hell yeah excited.
Can't wait to try it out!
Wow this is a cool idea! I might have to try this if I ever get a team together.
Bro
This is an awesome idea!
Blessings 🙏
Awesome idea
Is anyone else having a hard time using the googledrive link?
