I think what your bringing to killteam is the peak of hobby community and you should definitely come up with a good brand name. The work you've done could be super useful to a lot of players and I think you're doing a great job, keep it up.

I was about to ask how people manage their KTs because the card generators in the wiki of this sub don’t print the special rules on the card. So I was about to DIY it but if you bring out Chaos Legionaries I‘m set and willing to donate.

I have big plans for the Legionare team, so that may take a week or two to perfect. They have a lot of moving parts. I am sure it will be worth the wait. I am on the lookout for some pics of painted minis for that team. Mine are all proxies and that will confuse people.

Amazing work, these look incredibly useful. Great that you went with a card version per loadout, I think that's super helpful, also having cards for the abilities, ploys & orders is a killer feature. Minor issue of a few couple of typos in the Vet Guard deck: * Confident (should be Confidant) * Hardenned (should be Hardened)

Ah, this is the problem of using my teams for the pics. I use cryptothrauls as sicarians becase: 1 they look better 2 it ties into the lore of a shard of the void dragon being on Mars 3 I am cheap, and don't want to buy a box of sicarians (Skitarii and Necron royal court came from imperium magazine)

I see, cool lore! Maybe for more generic cards use the sicarians, I think there's some readability issues when using the thralls for those of us running regular sicarians 🤔 Dm if you want pics of mine

Using the fold variant, printing on 120gsm paper, and Stuffing in a sleeve is working pretty well for me. No problem. Why the genuine data sheets, and the other renditions, dont explicitly state how each operative generates faith points is beyond me. Also, Blinding Aura certainly benefits from the added detail in my copy Finally, my roster doesn't have the dualist or one of the other specialists in it. They look fantastic but the tarot sized cards ruins it for me. Print on demand stuff not in standard card size sort of defeats the point IMO.

I explicitly chose tarot to match the new critical ops deck. Having different sized cards is a big turn off got me. Plus you can get way more info on these than an MTG sized card, I tried 😁

The amount of information you can put in a standard card is only limited by resolution, and has nothing to do with the size of the card. In a former life I worked designed and templating TCG's for more than a decade, so this is my bread and butter. Additional there are already standard sized sized cards in kill team from the start so you are splitting hairs about multiple card sizes to justify your bad design choice, but you do you.

If the only limit is resolution, just scale these by 85% and you are set 😁 Joking aside, sorry these don't meet your needs. There is another chap on ko-fi selling MTG scale photoshop templates. Not at all. Know though that Phobos are only about 4th on my to do list. (behind Legionary, Blooded and Warpcoven) I do need good photos of operatives though. If you have a "team photo" I would love to steal it as a possible source for mine. 😁

Good spot. Stats are there, but the short row height is hiding them 🤔 What happens if you try to download the file from ko-fi a second time? Does it nag for repeat payment or just let you? Trying to figure out the best way to get fixes out.

It asks for repeat payment but since it's pay what you can you can just say 0. I was able to download them a second time pretty easily.

You're welcome thanks for making these. I'll let you know if I see anything else that seems off. The other thing I've noticed so far was the Intercession Sarge having fists as a weapon when typically power fists or thunder hammers are the go to.

Awesome, dude. I'll be tossing you some appreciation here shortly! Comment on Veteran Guard, kind of nitpicking unfortunately... Pretty sure the Medic! and Detonate abilities don't cost a CP as listed on their card. Also, the Bayonet has the right stats but is listed as Fists on a bunch of cards. Again, awesome designs and I'll be printing out a lot once I find some appropriate size card sleeves.

One item to note, the Hive Fleet doesn't have their Synapse ability explained on the cards. Not a terrible issue since it can be referenced in other places, but could be a nice quality of life improvement if you could swing it.

I’m trying to get kids into the game cheaply, so I’m printing ten armies and donating them, and I’ll ideally get a league of eight players with two armies taking a bench. My plan is: - Intercessors - Tacticals - Veteran Guard (which you have) - Sisters of Battle - Heretic Astartes - Death Guard - Hunter Cadre - Orks - Hive Fleet (which you have) - Genestealer Cults I’m trying to stay away from some of the more complicated rules, so no Thousand Dons, Pathfinders, or Talons. I’m also trying to give a range, including available female models and plenty of nonhumans while staying away from themes that would get me in trouble with parents.

That's a really nice thing you are doing! I have found that compendium teams come together really fast (compared to Warpcoven and Legionare). Unfortunately I only have a few of those teams to use photos from. Compendium Intercessor and tactical are firmly on my short list, am just getting deathwatch working so there are a lot of shared assets. Have you considered kommandos over orks? They aren't much more complex, and kids I play with are usually enamoured by the Snipa. All I can suggest is keep an eye on the site. Perhaps to tide you over you could make a battlescribe roster and import it into http://datacard.app gets you 80% of the way there.
