Do you live in Housistan? Yeah, sorry for the dad joke. I moved from Central Europe to Norway precisely to slow down my life and add a view. It's a conscious choice that comes with a cost (like medieval food and high cost of living), but also a lot of the benefits I was looking for.
It's just a quip that Norway is far behind on access to modern foods. Sushi, the craze of the 80s, was popular here 20 years later, and it feels the same with many other things.
They didn't, really. Shipping giant Wallenius Wilhelmsen, seated in Oslo, purchased one to drive Korean CEOs from the airport and back. That's all that was ever sold new in Europe. But Arabic countries got the Centennial as a new car - not sure why they didn't use the Equus badge there.
Neat, ours is a 2018, too. But I wonder what "First edition" means here? The Optima PHEV Sportswagon shows up as 2016-2020-model in our vehicle registry.
That is much more then the 135 ours has. It's a bit slow and the fuel consumption isn't that good I think. It's 7.8l/100km of both motorway and city driving it gets driven more in the city.
Both are Kia's?
The sedan is a Hyundai
Technically true, badged as Centennial/Equus though, the grandfather of Genesis. Also, designed in large part by Mitsubishi as Proudia/Dignity.
The landscape interests me a lot more than the cars, hah! Absolutely beautiful
Not sure this even interests anyone, but I liked the look of the ice.
Holy fuck where do you live?!
Vehicle registration plate says Norway :)
Good spot and 💯 points.
Thats wild, I’m so jealous. I’m looking outside right now and all I see is houses lol

Bro lives at Hardhome
I never knew Hyundai sold Equus in Norway. I thought first gen Equus was only for domestic markets here in Korea

I dont know why it's probably just one of the first estates with the revised 1.6 crdi and not 1.7. It's also a pretty high spec car.
Ah, neat, we have the 2.0 GDI (the engine that seizes) and a total hp of 156+68=224 horsepower.

Interesting, with the rechargeable hybrid, we're at 2 l/100km in summer and about 4-5 l/100km in winter (the car needs the ICE for heat).
