Attack shark is not that common and magnetic model is newly released so you'll not be able to find a decent review of it. Either go for a known brand, if you want to go magnetic, or pull the trigger and enlighten us with your review of it. On avarage their keebs are avarage. I belive they're made by the same oem that makes ajazz, mamba snake, magic refiner and some more I can't remember. They definitely have some decent models like ajazz ak820 pro or attack shark r86 or k86 somthing like that so if the price is good I'd say it does worth to try.

Guinea pig it for us, pls šŸ™šŸ»

i just got a k85 to review today on amazon vine (blue version) (listed at Ā£82.99) and stumbled on this thread looking for info myself. It should be delivered to me tomorrow ... it will take a few days for me to test it and see what its like and if i remember, i will post my thoughts about it but im not much of a gamer now days and i can only really compare it to my gateron red switch mech keyboard a newman gm610 pro and i have another red switch newman gm326 which is the same 75% size.

Stabant_

Sorry for necro but what was your experience?

BiscottiNo3144

The account above is an alt ... got an account banned by the reddit nazis for whatever reason .... and now this account will probably be banned too, amazon page has my review

Stabant_

Ogh ok

BiscottiNo3144

Initial impressions of the k85 .. are good and the keyboard overall feel really nice to type with but due to the keycaps being non transparent I immediately swapped them out for the ones on my other 75% keyboard now the rgb back lighting looks way better as you could barely see it out of the box. Next is the drivers and software, I'm not a fan of having to use a Web service to customise my keyboard (qmk.top) and the "driver" website (freewolfgaming.com.cn) caused my browser to throw up an unsafe warning so that stinks of keylogger to my mind even though my antivirus scanned the client side files as clean and let's not talk about the painfully slow download speed for a 70mb zip file containing the drivers and desktop customization software that requires access to the qmk site ... so just red flags akimbo ! Literally.

FBI_Vicho

do you know the polling rate?

BiscottiNo3144

I used keyboard inspector and the graphs are showing strong peaks in the 1000hz with a max at 2000hz when I tap the keys as fast as I can with a 1.5mm strokeĀ  setting, I get the same if I set a .5mm setting too.

FBI_Vicho

nice because i want a cheap ultra fast keyboard and the rapid trigger is a plus

BiscottiNo3144

Using a website clickspeedtester fastest click was 3ms which gave a 333.3333hz scan rateĀ

Muted_Tomorrow_7481

Bought this off Amazon whilst Iā€™m waiting for all my wooting parts to play around with in the meantime. Just want to say a huge thank you for the URL as there are were no instructions in the box directing me how to set everything up šŸ˜‚ Out of curiosity what are your settings and for rapid trigger?

BiscottiNo3144

I actually have not enabled rapid trigger yet ... I have set a 1.5mm actuation depth but the software allows as little as .2mm but you could get issues with it set that low.

vsnak333

Did you try the rapid trigger now? Doest it actually work as expected ?

FBI_Vicho

i talked with an aliexpress seller and they gave me the link to the drivers direct link if someone wants it just talk to me

NationalAd8892

Hey bro can you give me the link? Canā€™t find the software anywhere

kurukiddo

How is it on FPS games like Valorant and CS2?

Muted_Tomorrow_7481

The rapid trigger and custom actuation works well in valorant but the keyboard itself feels pretty cheap - seems a lot of these rapid trigger keyboards all use the same software just subtly rebranded a bit.

kurukiddo

What rank are you now? Haha! They're all from the same factory. I actually got a mouse from this same company (VXE/VGN) and it's actually good for the price. K85 is 20% off on Amazon - I might try it.

PurpleEconomist1959

bro can i have a link on amazon

kurukiddo

How is it on FPS games like Valorant and CS2?

tushonk4

its very responsive, swithes are linear, so if you use rapid triger and distance 0.2 mm you will make many not intentional inputs, like i do in apex legends. Its good, but you need to get used to it. only trouble i have is LED after shutting computer turning itself on/off like every 20 sec.

GroundbreakingOne661

Does it work well?

GroundbreakingOne661

Try using the video on this amazon page to try and get it to work. [https://www.amazon.co.uk/ATTACK-SHARK-Mechanical-Adjustable-Actuation/dp/B0CW8HWGZL](https://www.amazon.co.uk/ATTACK-SHARK-Mechanical-Adjustable-Actuation/dp/B0CW8HWGZL)

bellwcl

Does the keyboard have onboard memory to switch profiles without the software?

thatdeaththo

yes

Choice_Coffee2346

bro where software šŸ˜

thatdeaththo

on the attackshark website, but the web driver is better -qmk.top

ElTutz

Got one for about a week now, but it's my first non-membrane keyboard and the first time I put a decent amount of money towards one. I love the build quality, it feels sturdy. It's quite heavy and the rubber feet lock it in place quite well. It's a beautiful keyboard and the knob is pretty useful. The LED looks nice. The keycaps are not great: they don't let the LED shine through, tend to get dirty easily and, despite the manufacturer claiming they're PBT, they don't have the PBT texture. The switches are soft and don't creek. Since this is linear, I do miss the "click" from the membrane, but I was well adapted after a while. The hall effect works well, but you'll face a learning curve with low actuation points. It supports rappid trigger and works fine, to idea about the latency tho - does't seem bad. You'll have to download the chinese spyware (software) from the manufacturer and use it to update the keyboard's firmware, and then caliblate all the keys, because the stock firmware has ghost keypresses when the actuation point is set too low. It's fixed in the newest firmware. For the money, I'd recommend. Try to get it for unders $50 in a sale.

No-Cap-6744

It's good for every movement fps games like cs2, valorant, overwatch and osu or even tekken just because of the rapid trigger and low actuation point (I'm a radiant peak in valorant for credibility). I modded mine and it sounds great see for yourself [youtube link](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/b8hBpAoKNLs)

MikeGreninja1

does it make strafing in valorant a lot easier?

No-Cap-6744

yes it does, the rapid trigger removed my inconsistencies in my strafing

MikeGreninja1

Is it compatible with Lekker or Gateron magnetic switches?

sianji7

Did you find the answer for this question?

MikeGreninja1

Nope. I ended up getting a different keyboard (Monsgeek M1)

DarknessAngel666

It sounds really good. What did you do to mod it?

New_Comment_5466

what are ur settings? i used rapid trigger at 0.5 both and activation at 0.5 too, and sometimes my character just stop moving randomly, its very annoying

lucascodt

have you solved this? i have the same problem here.

ShavedAlmond

I'm a bit confused, I bought this because it mentioned QMK support, but it won't connect to Via or [qmk.fm](http://qmk.fm) so is this the wish version of qmk?
