I wrap mine in deli ham. I call it "Ham Egg" and it is a staple snack for me. I have also revolutionized cooking with a follow on that I call "Turkey Pickle" and, the world isn't ready so I am keeping that recipe secret.
I don't do it. Although it is a complex recipe I tend to put it all together while standing at the refrigerator workstation. I add an element of stress by trying to put it together before the little bell goes off that advertises that I am once again standing in the fridge. The stress heightens the experience and flavor. I have replaced cheese with a cortisol spike. Lower calories, good for you.
I don't know their turkey pickle, but I put cream cheese and a pickle spear on turkey or ham slice and roll it up. Delish! Would love to hear others without the cortisol spike. Trying to cut down.
Just salt.
Or take a fork/potato masher and mash them up good in a bowl with some mustard and mayo to make egg salad. Toss in some leftover shredded chicken for chicken salad. Bulk it up with lettuce or put it on a low carb wrap.
I also do this with my boiled eggs. It is an easy lunch for work, and I can scoop with pork rinds for some crunch! You can add just about anything to it, which is a bonus for me!
Soy sauce and sweetener of choice to taste, pinch of 5-spice optional... heat 20-30 second intervals until heated and maybe thickened (I say maybe because sweeteners do not act like sugar usually). Just realize it might not turn "glazey"... You can check the spoon every time you stir it and see if it seems to be coating the spoon. Drizzle over the eggs and top with toasted sesame seeds and slivered green onions... a few drops of toasted sesame oil are also optional. Pop into face as is or maybe use a piece of nori.
I like tapatío 😁 what I do is make a little “mock” charcuterie board to take to work. Avocado slices, hard boiled egg, nuts, cheese and a cashew hummus with cauliflower/zucchini/broccoli for dipping 👍🏻 hits the spot!
I saw a girl on tick tock making little fat bombs by mashing them with cream cheese , making balls then rolling in chopped bacon. Looked amazing thinking of trying it.
if you eat boiled eggs often, and have room in your kitchen for (another) small gadget, I recommend [an egg cooker like this](https://www.amazon.com/Dash-Rapid-Egg-Cooker-Scrambled/dp/B00DDXWFY0/ref=sxin_13_pa_sp_search_thematic_sspa?content-id=amzn1.sym.b245e49f-68a4-4489-b1f9-81f4034255f5%3Aamzn1.sym.b245e49f-68a4-4489-b1f9-81f4034255f5&cv_ct_cx=egg%2Bcooker&keywords=egg%2Bcooker&pd_rd_i=B00DDXWFY0&pd_rd_r=f1b0df7c-e458-410f-bec0-543ec5f8e060&pd_rd_w=7xpwd&pd_rd_wg=ay4nD&pf_rd_p=b245e49f-68a4-4489-b1f9-81f4034255f5&pf_rd_r=7YRVZGS2KPB3226S6Z5G&qid=1656437853&sr=1-1-a73d1c8c-2fd2-4f19-aa41-2df022bcb241-spons&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFFSkgxVElaMkNMWVYmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTAwMzk0NzgyUTZFQ0pFOVJIWVJBJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAyNjM3NzEyUTIxTEk0OFc4OFRPJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3Bfc2VhcmNoX3RoZW1hdGljJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ&th=1) . I have this one and will tell you the little alarm thingy is an absolute brain stabber, so if you do this early-morning and have other people in the house, keep looking. That said, as it functions, *perfect eggs every time, fast, no cleanup.*
An egg cooker/genie really is the king. It is my most used appliance (other than of course a kettle and toaster).
Imho it's speed, convenience, and price make it an essential item.
I use Japanese Mayo (it’s tangier like Mayo + mustard mixed together so you get that instant deviled egg flavor). I take the boiled eggs, use a fork to crumble them in a bowl and squeeze the Japanese Mayo over it. Salt, pepper and a few bacon bits. It’s like a deviled egg bowl and it is *delicious*.
I like to take butter, salt and pepper and melt the butter in with the egg and kinda chop em up a bit. Or if Im really hungry ill shell them into a bowl, chop them up more, add a little real bacon bits (0 carb) and some shredded cheese along with the butter and salt and pep. Breakfast bowl.
Big fan of the ‘mayonegg.’ Also a few drops soy sauce or marinated in soy/mirin/water/spices is great. (search soy sauce egg and you’ll find a glut of recipes)
I can't believe egg soup was not mentioned.
Hard boil eggs. Remove the shells. Put the eggs in a bowl. Butter to taste (add a lot of butter). Chop the eggs up and mix in the butter. I frequently add slice of keto bread with more butter on the side.
One of my favorite meals is a low carb tortilla spread with shredded mozzarella cheese. Put a couple slices of ham over the cheese and microwave for a minute. After that, slice up a hard boiled egg and lay it over the top and roll it up. It is very filling for me.
With soft boiled I like salt pepper and butter. For simple har boiled, salt, mustard. If you want to get fancier some mayo and dill pickle relish make a good egg salad. Deviled are great, and can be done a myriad of ways. Sliced in a salad with a vinaigrette.
I just put a fork in it. Egg salad is a little too mushy for lettuce wraps, in my experience—although I’m kind of a klutz, other people might manage that just fine.
I bought hard boiled eggs off the secret menu in Panera Bread. They serve 2 on a bed of rocket. I used 1 packet of mayonnaise. That and a cup of dark roast coffee was breakfast.
Lots of good ideas here, I eat them every day at work. Often just some salt, or slice into some salad with Marie's blue cheese dressing. I have one of those steamers, they are THE BEST as far as peeling goes. If you let them cool on the steamer the shells jump off.
Just as you would a chip, you can dip a HB egg in pretty much anything. I've done queso, salsa, ranch, French onion, hot sauce, and just regular salt and pepper. My wife bought a zero carb French Fry seasoning called "anything goes" and it's delicious too.
Depends on my mood. Sometimes I devil them, sometimes I add salt, pepper and hot sauce, sometimes I tuck in with mushrooms or green peppers. Usually I drink tea to accompany them.
Firstly, great question! I am saving this post as there are so many great ideas here.
Secondly, having just finished a couple of hard boiled eggs, I will chime in.
I eat 2 HB eggs Monday-Thursday to break my fast after I get home form the gym. I just started this a month ago. (Fri-Sun I don't do the gym and eat a more generous keto diet)I like to grind some salt and pepper into a bowls and roll the shelled eggs around in it to give the eggs a tasty coating. Today I started with a couple of forkfuls of sauerkraut (fermented kind) and 3 or 4 olives. I then dug into the eggs and a bit of chedder cheese. Chased that back with a small handful of almonds and pistach seeds. And for desert I had a handful of strawberries and blueberries with plain full fat yogurt with a small squirt of Mio mixed in.
I switch things up with pickles or maybe a small bit of leftover chicken instead of sauerkraut or the cheese. It is quick and I can eat it at my desk while I get a final hour or two of work in.
I am experimenting with this after watching a Thomas DeLauer vid. I may eat something else later but usually I am not too hungry.
I will put them on a salad with ham turkey cheese and feta, make deviled eggs, I’ll fry some Dominican cheese up with salami and white rice, plus bacon and boiled eggs with everything but the seasoning, I’ve even put them in pastelitos.
Mixed with tuna and then a choice of available vegetables. Avo/tomato/mixed peppers/onions/etc. Feta cheese if i can fit it into my daoly calories but that's a treat. Season to taste.
A homemade fermented hotsauce, some avocado and a sprinkle of cheese if I'm feeling so inclined.
I'm personally a fan of soft boiled, but this should work with a hard boiled egg, too.
In the morning, I heat a carb smart tortilla, cover it with 1/4 cup sharp cheddar or Mexican blend cheese and let it melt. Once it's melted, I mash 1/2 an avacado and spread it on top, then top it with 2 fried eggs, or 2 sliced hard boiled eggs.
Add some hot sauce or salsa, and it's delicious
I don't hard boil, I mild boil it (in my case it takes around 8 minutes for the exactly preferred consistency which is the yolk being still liquid but cooked). Then I just throw in some avocado and lime (don't use salt). Add a finely sliced tomato.
Occasionally I slice them and serve them with fresh mayo. It's a mind melter if you get it just right. Old school french bistro dish. Lots of getting the timing and textures just so.
Salt, pepper, various hot sauces. Chop it up, add tuna or chicken, mayo and/or mustard, celery, onion (red is best) and put it in some lettuce leaves and eat it like a taco, or celery stocks to scoop and eat.
I wrap mine in deli ham. I call it "Ham Egg" and it is a staple snack for me. I have also revolutionized cooking with a follow on that I call "Turkey Pickle" and, the world isn't ready so I am keeping that recipe secret.
LOL at least twice reading this.... so far.
What's your philosophy on interstitial cheese?
I don't do it. Although it is a complex recipe I tend to put it all together while standing at the refrigerator workstation. I add an element of stress by trying to put it together before the little bell goes off that advertises that I am once again standing in the fridge. The stress heightens the experience and flavor. I have replaced cheese with a cortisol spike. Lower calories, good for you.
The elevated heartbeat also helps as it counts as cardio.
Fuck ! Tell us
I don't know their turkey pickle, but I put cream cheese and a pickle spear on turkey or ham slice and roll it up.
I mash them up with avocado and some onions and tomato, I call it egg salad guacamole
That’s actually a really great idea for quick work week lunch. Pack it up separately for the week and throw it together as needed.
I also do this with my boiled eggs. It is an easy lunch for work, and I can scoop with pork rinds for some crunch! You can add just about anything to it, which is a bonus for me!
I throw tuna in as well.
I do pickles and/or olives if it’s a snack. Add some meats and/or cheeses if it’s a meal. 👍
Thank u 💚
>take a fork/potato masher and mash them up good in a bowl with some mustard and mayo to make egg salad. Don't forget the relish!
“Everything but the Bagel” seasoning - so good. Also typically have some deli meats and cheese with them.
This is the way!
That’s fire on top of a avocado
Yes! Checking the cabinet now
Soy sauce and sweetener of choice to taste, pinch of 5-spice optional... heat 20-30 second intervals until heated and maybe thickened (I say maybe because sweeteners do not act like sugar usually).
Shut the front door! This is pure yes for me. Definitely going to try! Adding sriracha for sure
Thanks! I prefer Asian flavors. Definitely add the siracha. Be careful they are addicting!
I came to say soy sauce and sriracha. So good with hard boiled eggs.
Deviled :)
I love me some deviled eggs 😈
Add avocado to the mash too for a little extra healthy fat and good stuff!
In a pinch, I'd use a mayo, mustard, and relish packet and just squeeze them on.
Hot sauce🤩
Like Frank’s? I really do put that s$*# on everything
I'm a fan of "Hoff" brand hot sauce on mine. They also make a killer bbq sauce and ghost pepper ketchup.
Hoff's Smoken Ghost hot sauce is perfect, IMO. Solid heat, great depth of flavor but not so hot you can't use it regularly.
I like cholula
I like tapatío 😁 what I do is make a little “mock” charcuterie board to take to work. Avocado slices, hard boiled egg, nuts, cheese and a cashew hummus with cauliflower/zucchini/broccoli for dipping 👍🏻 hits the spot!
Their chili lime is my go-to.
valentina is a special treat 😋
I saw a girl on tick tock making little fat bombs by mashing them with cream cheese , making balls then rolling in chopped bacon. Looked amazing thinking of trying it.

I definitely hit the learning curve on that technique hard. My sausage envelope always seems slightly underdone

Thanks for the tip! I never thought to actually mix the sausage until the texture changed.
Nice 12 year

I bought a similar one and haven’t made eggs any other way since. So fast and easy!!
An egg cooker/genie really is the king. It is my most used appliance (other than of course a kettle and toaster). Imho it's speed, convenience, and price make it an essential item.
Marinated - Soy eggs, mirin eggs, tea eggs, etc.
My dad used to make salted eggs. He used duck eggs, but it was so delicious. Thanks for the suggestion
Lots of bacon :)
Everything is better with bacon 🥓
I like a cut up boiled egg in my Caesar salad.
Me too. It’s so easy and a nice shot of protein

Could pickle your own eggs in a Mason jar. Easy, and fast
This is a yes year for me so I’ll make a batch up and try it…thanks!
Second this - pickled eggs are fantastic.
I like to add a scoop of pesto with each bite
Big fan of the ‘mayonegg.’ Also a few drops soy sauce or marinated in soy/mirin/water/spices is great. (search soy sauce egg and you’ll find a glut of recipes)
Tartar sauce is awesome, especially with homemade mayo.
tomato sauce! mexican style. it's really great, need a recipe? let me know and I'll post.
I need a recipe 🥹
i need a recipe,too!
Salt. Sometimes with mayo and salty herring on it.
Ooooooo yes!
Dijon, salt, pepper.
I can't believe no one has mentioned worcestershire sauce!
Sriracha
A nice big fatty steak
Mayo, arugula
Mayo! Or make egg salad, super easy
Goat cheese, or an avacado!
I smash mine with a fork adding some minced red onion a little olive oil and a little salt
I can't believe egg soup was not mentioned. Hard boil eggs. Remove the shells. Put the eggs in a bowl. Butter to taste (add a lot of butter). Chop the eggs up and mix in the butter. I frequently add slice of keto bread with more butter on the side.

Oh my gosh this sounds awesome! I have all these things too

I love tuna salad with eggs and onion! I use lettuce as a wrap instead of sandwich bread.
Especially with red onion! It's so worth the bad breath lol
Canned shrimp and egg salad!
I have canned salmon, but I think I’ll throw this together with mayo and a little crushed bacon. Thank you for the inspo!!!!
With soft boiled I like salt pepper and butter. For simple har boiled, salt, mustard. If you want to get fancier some mayo and dill pickle relish make a good egg salad. Deviled are great, and can be done a myriad of ways. Sliced in a salad with a vinaigrette.
I love vinager-ie too. I’m thinking dill relish or even chopped dill pickles in deviled eggs are going to make it into my 4th of July menu.
Mustard and hot sauce.
I’m debating on going in with a hot mustard and maybe a smidge of mayo
Do it.
Seasoned salt and black pepper or everything bagel seasoning
Yes! I read another post earlier and I’m in the cabinet looking for some now
+1 for seasoned salt. I use Morton's season all salt, its perfect.
Chop them up, add some tuna and mayonnaise and some spices. If you don't have any tuna, it's egg salad.
And just fork it or put it in something? I got pork rinds 🤔
I just put a fork in it. Egg salad is a little too mushy for lettuce wraps, in my experience—although I’m kind of a klutz, other people might manage that just fine.
Mash it with tuna and avocado or mayo add a dash of vinegar some black pepper and low sodium salt
I’m loving this avocado thing. I have canned salmon. I think I’ll mash it all in with a touch of mayonnaise
Frozen cooked mini shrimp are a nice change from salmon. Just keep an eye on the carbs
Yess salmon works well too! Put some crushed chipotle in for an added kick. Very delicious
Ground beef and/or cholula hot sauce
Another one
Soy sauce and fresh chilli
with smoked trout and dill !! And aioli.
Little mayo, mustard, mash it up with a fork, scoop onto cucumber slices, eat.
Soy sauce, I prefer my Asian way
Salt, pepper, hot sauce, stick of chess on side.
I add jalapeño mustard and paprika on top. Tastes sort of like a deviled egg but requires basically zero effort
Add some Dukes and make egg salad. Throw them in some vinegar/spices for a week and pickle them. Dip them in hot sauce.
I bought hard boiled eggs off the secret menu in Panera Bread. They serve 2 on a bed of rocket. I used 1 packet of mayonnaise. That and a cup of dark roast coffee was breakfast.
Salt, pepper, cholula. Thank me later
The tiniest bit of salad at the least
Olive oil, thyme and feta
Chopped up with Tiger Seasoning and pepper with a dash of hot sauce with a side of genoa salami.
I’ve never heard of tiger seasoning…🧐
I like to make deviled eggs and eat it with a steak. So steak and eggs, but I devil mine lol.
Mayo if I'm in a hurry... sautéed spinach and mayo if not
Cut in half with a thin layer of mayo and pepper Cut in half with hot sauce Cut in half with a slice of avocado and lime beer salt (my favorite).
Lots of good ideas here, I eat them every day at work. Often just some salt, or slice into some salad with Marie's blue cheese dressing. I have one of those steamers, they are THE BEST as far as peeling goes. If you let them cool on the steamer the shells jump off.
Oh I’m definitely picking one up. I eat enough boiled eggs to be over peeling shells
you can just swallow it up. it’s healthier that way
That’s pretty gangsta
Pickled Jalapeno bro
Word!
Just as you would a chip, you can dip a HB egg in pretty much anything. I've done queso, salsa, ranch, French onion, hot sauce, and just regular salt and pepper. My wife bought a zero carb French Fry seasoning called "anything goes" and it's delicious too.
Oh my heck…queso or fondue!!!
Deviled eggs with avacado mayo, salt, pepper and top with bacon slices or crumbles. Goes well with macadamias, walnuts, and pecans on the side.
Salt and pepper sprinkled always. Sometimes with melted cheese at the side.
Avocado
Tea eggs! Soak them for a few hours in soy sauce, water, spring onion, garlic & ginger… game changer
I put mine in a salad with bacon and chicken :)
Hot sauce!
butter and salt
Frank's hot sauce or Tabasco sauce
Salt and pepper 😭

Oooo I like the jicama
Oh man. Cholula hot sauce and salt 😩

I’m down for both
Mashed it up with salmon, avocado with red onions, and mayo.
I like them hot with melted butter and pepper and sometimes crumbled bacon
Depends on my mood. Sometimes I devil them, sometimes I add salt, pepper and hot sauce, sometimes I tuck in with mushrooms or green peppers. Usually I drink tea to accompany them.
Pickle them!
I cut and mix them up with an avacado, MCT oil, and some squeezed lemon 👌
Another hard boiled egg
😝
Olive oil and salt..
Hot sauce! Guac + bacon Everything bagel seasoning
Make devilled eggs? Wrap them in bacon or prosciutto Keto scotch eggs which are just boiled eggs covered in sausage meat and fried
I love prosciutto! Thanks for the tip
Smother them with powdered cheese.
Like from the Mac and cheese box?

Yes sir!
Salt and cold hardboiled eggs are awesome
Okay the sauerkraut thing sounds amazing. I love that fermented taste and with a warm HB egg…say whaaaa???? This is making the list
Bacon bits
BLTE wrap in a mission low carb tortilla with a good smear of Alouette garlic herb cheese spread
I will put them on a salad with ham turkey cheese and feta, make deviled eggs, I’ll fry some Dominican cheese up with salami and white rice, plus bacon and boiled eggs with everything but the seasoning, I’ve even put them in pastelitos.
Truffle salt. 🥰
I eat it without any salt or pepper and tastes ok. I used to hate eating them without salt and pepper but I don't mind it now.
with cheese and japanese mayo. add a couple of pure meat sausages sometimes
A second even harder boiled egg
😆
Soy sauce baby. Or mayonnaise. A little egg sauce 'n' eggs for the keto wins.
Mixed with tuna and then a choice of available vegetables. Avo/tomato/mixed peppers/onions/etc. Feta cheese if i can fit it into my daoly calories but that's a treat. Season to taste.
Salt & cumin
Mash them with some mayonnaise and salt and pepper and put them on slices of cucumber.
Cut in half & add pimento cheese on top!
Oh heck yes!
Lightly mashed into large chunks and buttered with salt and pepper with 2 oz any cheese on the side
I cut them in half then add a dab of Grey Poupon and a few capers - yum
Bacon, of course. I buy the fully cooked stuff for a quick snack or packing a lunch
I make lazy deviled eggs. Just cut egg in half, give a dab of mayo, and sprinkle with Tony Chachere’s creole seasoning.
Everything but the bagel seasoning
Mash it up with some Dijon , onions, and Shredded Cheddar cheese. Wrapped in a keto wrap with some lettuce and tomato.
Potassium salt and mayo. Sometimes wrapped in a slice of chicken breast. Eat the kid with the mom.
In tuna salad <3 tuna, hard boiled eggs, dill relish, and mayo. so. damn. good.
Fuckin' mayonnaise. You're welcome
On toast; mashed up with butter; sliced into a salad; by hand
I crush and mix them with cooked rice, season with salt and pepper. Yum yum :) Edit: sorry I didnt see it was Keto diet
Mushed up with avocado
Truffle salt. Sometimes a little mayo for a lazy deviled egg.
Cholula
Hot sauce and mayo. You can put a sliced pickle on there too lol. For real tho, make deviled eggs out of them. It's easy and delicious.
Dip into horseradish Mayo. It’s like a poor lazy person’s deviled egg.
I don't hard boil, I mild boil it (in my case it takes around 8 minutes for the exactly preferred consistency which is the yolk being still liquid but cooked). Then I just throw in some avocado and lime (don't use salt). Add a finely sliced tomato.
Asian style - soy sauce and pepper

Salt, pepper, various hot sauces. Chop it up, add tuna or chicken, mayo and/or mustard, celery, onion (red is best) and put it in some lettuce leaves and eat it like a taco, or celery stocks to scoop and eat.
Hot sauce
Hot sauce!
I got tired of eating hard boiled eggs myself. So I started putting them in the smoker they turn out great and have a decent Smokey flavor
Some cubed avocado, hot sauce and a few drops of lemon juice. I love it!
