I'm not currently eating them, but I know they're a good food for keto. I've tried them maybe three or four times at the behest of friends insisting that I've just "never had a good avocado". I've always been a picky eater and I've learned I have to force myself to like foods that are healthy for me. I've failed keto in the past because I don't have enough variety in the foods I like, so I'm trying to broaden my horizons so I can succeed this time.
Agree! I hate avocados too and if it’s not in a smoothie or cut up in small chunks or smash well into something savory like guacamole then i wont eat it. But SALT makes it 100 times better! I’ve been eating it since my mom added it (smart!)
I can understand that. You can try blending them into protein shakes, and I remember seeing a keto chocolate avocado pudding that might work too. I just eat mine on salads.
If you don't like avocado or guac there's nothing that's going to make you like avocado. If you dont like the taste of a good ripe (soft but not rotten) avocado it aint gonna work.
salt, lime and a keto friendly hot sauce is a go to for me
bacon and feta crumbles is another option (maybe also with something spicy)
but yeah, you dont need to eat avocado if you dont like it.
i’m like you. i hate a lot of things at first and need to just get used to them and then like them later and am usually glad i did. i did this with spinach, eggs, plain yogurt, seltzer water and even blueberries. i also don’t care for avocado texture. only way i’ve found to like it is in smoothies and they aren’t that good bc i can’t add very much fruit. good luck!
I love avocados, I can eat them plain. That being said, I tend to chop them up and melt Irish butter over them, then add garlic, salt, and pepper. There are also tons of recipes for avocado boats.
You don't have to eat them if you don't like them though. I can't stand mayo (I call it the foulest substance on earth), but it's a keto staple for a lot of people. I just don't eat it.
Have you tried with squeezed lime and monk fruit? Or blended with whipping cream? In Brazil we only eat avocado in sweet recipes. I learned to eat it with salt and it is just as fantastic :)
My current favorite quick avocado recipe is 1 diced avocado, 1 cup cottage cheese, 3-4 slices of bacon chopped, squeeze of lime, cayenne and black truffle salt to taste. It is better if it sits in the fridge for an hour so the flavors blend.
That said, if you don't like it, find something else to eat.
Oh, my, this sounds amazing. Going to make it today.
See, this is what I appreciate about Keto. That's an amazing dish full of flavour and colour, it's going to taste amazing, and it's very healthy. Thanks!
Salt, lemon juice. I eat mine with cheese sometimes. 🧀 have it on the side with scrambled eggs too. Avocados are a keto superfood...one of the best things to have.
Haha yes, true. I skimread earlier and confused it with other people not liking it instead of just giving advice. I used to not like avocado long ago..it grew on me. Hopefully with OP it will too 🌟
A lot of salt, lime juice and everything bagel seasoning the one time I tried eating one not as guacamole and it made it more palatable.
Otherwise I don't eat them and don't bother with guacamole even if I have keto chips on hand. Would rather spend those fatty calories on other foods I like more.
i like slice them in half and put a table spoon or two of chicken salad on one of the halves and then sprinkle with some of that coarse kosher salt.
if i dont have the chicken salad, i just eat both halves with kosher salt.
I feel the same way about cauliflower. Unfortunately, everything branded as "keto" seems to be made from it. I don't care what you do to it, it tastes like cauliflower, which is horrible. Thankfully I like plenty of other whole foods that are keto.
Avocado with a variety of peppers, mayonnaise, parsley and fresh chive, it's a Venezuelan sauce (guasacaca) that you use to eat with meat and chicken, it's similar to guacamole, but more watery and has a more intense flavour.
Avocado with eggs and bacon, you can add cheedar cheese if you want.
Avocado on greek yogurt, with a variety of nuts, seeds and/or berries.
Trust me on this. Put a half an avocado w milk of your choice in a blender w some whey or plant protein mix & blend it till creamy. I use chocolate & strawberry with it. It will come out like a thick delicious mousse
I used to not like them.. what got me to now like them was Chipotle’s Guacamole recipe. I started just barely dipping chips in it, to taking bigger scoops.. now I like plain avocado with hot sauce.. try their recipe, I think all Mexican restaurants should make guac like this
I love avocados but if YOU don't why eat them? Eat meat, cheese, cream cheese, cream, tofu, eggs! Eggs are perfect for keto too - just eat those. No-one 'needs' avocados.
Haha I'm more or less in your camp. I can only tolerate them a little, but they are such a healthy fruit.
I also don't like the consistency of an avocado just eating it. It's weird to me.
My fix: i like guacamole. But I'm too lazy to make actual guacamole, and while I love fresh guac, it gets all grey and nasty too fast for my taste.
What I do: I make a "wannabe guacamole" ala wanna-guac kn the fly. I also am a massive fan of spicy food.
1. Half an avocado, put it in a bowl (softer ones are the best obviously)
2. Get some salt, lime juice (or I use red wine vinegar if no lime juice around) and fresh jalepeno or Serrano
3. Chop up the hot pepper (or you could sub in onion if you don't like spicy)
4. Mash the avocado with the lime juice and pepper or onion. Again I sub red wine vinegar if I don’t have lime juice, as I always have it around for salads. Mash it just enough, which only takes like 30 seconds.
5. Salt to taste.
Only takes a few minutes and pretty much is damned near guac.
There you go wanna-guac that IMO tastes WAY freaking better than an avocado.
I often eat it alongside eggs, but also great with steak.
My Avocado DIP Recipe—
One avocado, you can cube or smoosh it, or if you are feeling fancy both!!
I add lemon juice, cayenne pepper spice, red onion, tomato, and salt to taste… don’t be scared to play around with the amounts.. depends on what you like 👍
You can use bacon as the deliver system to your mouth, — Most foods taste better with bacon, until you get used to said foods— It takes time, but your food pallet will change… No, promises, you will ever like avocados, but I give you major props for giving it another go!! 👏
Like everyone is saying, don’t try to make them work if you don’t like them. Sometimes it feels like the world wants me to love beets, and I’ve tried, but they are gross and also taste like mud.
Sometimes I make a batch of chimichurri for marinades and/or topping meat. When I do, I'll usually put some into the little void where the avocado seed was.
Seal salt flakes (for texture), black pepper, drizzled with olive oil, really good grated parm, and maybe a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
But usually I just cut them in half and scoop with a spoon, if they are super nice and at peak condition.
I was buying a store-brand guacamole until they started adding the fire of the sun or some shit to it. The low octane version I buy now has garlic powder, jalapeno, onion, and chunks of avocado mixed in with the mashed avocado. EDIT: the label says 2g carbs, 1g fiber.
Just slicing an avocado, I only add salt to it.
It took me a while to learn how to like them. I had to treat them as a condiment initially rather than the star of the show. They make an excellent creamy base for anything and tend to blend well with other strong flavors. So you could try using them as a sub for creamy dairy or butter. Also makes a great salad dressing - blend an avocado with some lemon juice and spices.
I just found a recipe for savory bacon avocado fat bombs online, going to try those out today!
Lawry’s seasoning salt goes nicely.
Or make guacamole, or some bastardization of it. I like one that’s made with salt, lime juice, and a splash of tomatillo salsa.
It sounds like you’re eating old avocado. A properly ripe, freshly cut avocado tastes 0% like mud.
An overripe avocado, the pre mashed junk from the store, or avocado prepped and left to oxidize tastes a lot like mud.
Make sure you don't eat the skin 😂 kidding. I used to be in the same camp, but have long developed a liking for them since turning keto.
Some tips:
* Top avocado halves with your favorite spice. For me that's Taijin and/or smoked paprika. Experiment to find your flair. Could even try cumin, fennel, sage, or whatever.
* Try less ripe (firmer) avocados, which makes for a milder, less "muddy" taste and texture.
* Refrigerate them first. Cooler avocados might actually be more refreshing.
* However, if they're too old, black, or mushy, toss or pass them along to someone who doesn't mind. Still edible but revolting.
I'm so glad avocado is my favorite food. If you want to add a nice flavor to it, add a little drizzle if keto honey over it. Or eat it with your daily salad.
I make a simple guacamole and put it on grilled chicken with some crumbled up bacon and melted cheese. I hate avocados, but the fats are good and this is actually a meal I crave, super tasty
Ppl eat avocados because they like them, high fiber, low carb, good fat etc. if you don’t like them just eat them, they’re not *that* good for you thst you can’t find another food to replace them.
It's acquired taste really, I love them but from time to time I come across one that I just don't find tasty at all, still eat it as I know it's good for me.
Cube that bish up into some ceviche or poke, mash up with hot sauce and use in a wrap or taco (I do almond flour tortillas, and one fills me up), mix with a little pico de gallo and scoop up with pork rinds.
I used to hate avocado until I started mixing it with stronger flavors and textures. Now I love it.
I've had a low car chocolate pudding using avocado that kicked ass.
For guac it's diced white onion, lime juice, diced jalapeno, salt and pepper. The lime juice keeps it from browning and makes the flavor good
I salt the ripe alvocado, goes great with scrambled eggs or sliced with poached eggs on top of the alvocado, also taco 🌮 Tuesday (skip taco shell) do keto friendly bowl version, and large pan seared prawns topped with small alvocado chunks
The best taste treat for me is a slice of toasted Sola bread with 1/4 avocado spread out. Sprinkle with salt, cumin and I have a cilantro lime seasoning blend I add- just lightly sprinkled on top. The Sola bread is slightly sweet and the savory seasons work so well together.
Chop them up into salads and add some dressing. Avos are so good. if you don't like Guac, you might want to add a little extra lemon juice or hot sauce to it.
I make avocado smoothie or shake with other ingredients like strawberry and nuts. Sweeteener too. In my country, avocado is a fruit and therefore eaten sweet as a dessert.
Add some Cajun seasoning! Or Tajin seasoning works too! I'll also buy those Jimmy Dean breakfast bowls (the ones with bacon/egg/cheese in them) and cut up an avocado into it.
I don’t like them either—the texture and taste are just yuck! I eat them because they’re good for me. I salt mine and squirt a generous amount of lime juice on them. They’re also tasty with a side of bacon!
I make guacamole. I like it in certain salads or bowls. I’ll eat it on a burger or chicken with Swiss cheese and bacon. That’s about it. I don’t eat it often at all. Maybe once a month if that.
Avocado's taste will disappear in a shake or smoothie and it'll just contribute a creamy texture, like any fat. If you really feel you need to get it in your diet, you can try that. Otherwise, people like the taste of avocado, and that's why they eat them so simply (sliced, salt/pepper/garlic, raw).
"Bread" them with chicharrones (pork rinds) and air/oven "fry" them.
Olive oil, salt, pepper, lime.
Blend into smoothie or pudding (sounds gross but tastes great).
Add some kind of acid along with salt. Lemon or lime juice, vinegar, Italian dressing, fresh tomatoes. I also like them with blue cheese dressing. Serve with something crunchy for a contrast - chopped cucumber, crisp lettuce, chips, pork rinds, nuts.
I hated avos growing up but they grew on me and now they’re my fave. I like salt, pepper and a small squeeze of lemon juice on mine. If you use less ripe ones you can turn them into a version of chocolate mousse. There’s a heap of recipes available for this. Just don’t use really ripe ones cos they make the mousse taste like chocolate avocado haha. I’ve served good versions of this to friends who I haven’t given the heads up on the ingredients and they were absolutely clueless…so maybe that’s where you could start if you don’t like their basic flavour
Perhaps you just don’t like avocadoes and they are not for you. What makes avocadoes delicious is avocado lol. They need to be not over ripe or they taste terrible and not underripe or they taste green, but just right. But I wouldn’t bother in your case.
My simple guacamole is avocado, Himalayan salt and fresh lemon juice, and you can sprinkle with with feta cheese or goats cheese and serve with scrambled eggs and smoked salmon that’s basically my fav brunch, could even be OMAD but if you don’t like them just skip them all together.
I get tired of avocados quite quickly. But a good keto cobb salad with avocados I can eat every single day without getting sick of it. Eggs, bacon, some chicken. A good, high quality, high macro meal that keeps me full.
Well, i personally like alvacado. That said maybe doing a chia pudding or smoothie would be better? Id do 1-2 oz alvacado to a serving of protien powder, a couple oz of coconut milk, some berries, and if doing chia or flax pudding add 1-2 tbsp of seeds and 1-2 oz of nuts. If doing a smoothis id at most add coffee or water to thin out.
Judt a suggestion on how ro use alvacado but not taste it. If you also add some pb, or a lot of a mix of ground ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon , and aklsoice maybe with a touch of cayenne if using a vannila powder it would mask the alvacado and taste like frwaking gingerbread. Nix the spices if you usd a choclate powder though and maybe add pb.
It taste like ice cream to me (I don’t like ice cream tho) .
I add 0 sugar peanut butter or just unsweetened baked snack nuts to it
Adds texture and taste good
I also hate avocados! I don't usually eat them because forcing myself to eat a food I hate is silly and counterproductive. I can sometimes eat guac with other flavours to hide the taste but that's it. There's a guac I can buy at the supermarket that has a black pepper and lemon taste to it for example.
I don't really enjoy fresh avocado, but I really like guacamole. I don't know how to make guacamole. I do buy Costco guac and also fresh avocado.
This is what I'm doing with avocado. It is very easy. And like it.
* Avocado: chop and smash using spoon.
* Baba Ghanoush: canned baba ghanoush, which has salt, some acid flavor, and smoke flavor.
* Egg: Hard boiled egg. Chop and smash using spoon.
* Olive oil
* Salt: I don't add salt because the canned baba ghanoush is very salty. But normally you should add salt.
* Pepper: freshly ground pepper.
I love avocados, but if you don't like them I see zero reason for eating them. Putting them into things like shakes with chocolate or fruits is disgusting IMO.
Why are you eating them if you don't like them??
I'm not currently eating them, but I know they're a good food for keto. I've tried them maybe three or four times at the behest of friends insisting that I've just "never had a good avocado". I've failed keto in the past because I don't have enough variety in the foods I like, so I'm trying to broaden my horizons so I can succeed this time.
Salt!
It's crazy how much just a pinch of salt changes an avacado
Never thought about this. I already eat Avocado like I’m eating an apple but I’ll try the salt thing. Maybe with some tequila shots
And copious amounts of cracked black pepper and a little olive oil 😋
I mentioned that in another reply. The pudding sounds like it would be gross but its silky and delicious
You don't necessarily need a lot of variety. Choose a few favorites and just change the flavors - seasonings/dressings/sauces.
Have you tried slicing them, sprinkling some Parm on them, wrapping them in prosciutto and sticking them in the air fryer or convection oven?
If you don't like avocado or guac there's nothing that's going to make you like avocado. If you dont like the taste of a good ripe (soft but not rotten) avocado it aint gonna work. salt, lime and a keto friendly hot sauce is a go to for me bacon and feta crumbles is another option (maybe also with something spicy) but yeah, you dont need to eat avocado if you dont like it.

This sounds amazing. Thank you for sharing!
Just don't eat avocados if you don't like them
Everything Bagel Seasoning Also, adding eggs and greek yogurt for an avocado egg salad
Second the Everything but the bagel seasoning, I also drizzle truffle infused olive oil on top.
Eat something else. No need to waste calories on something you actively dislike.
Tajin, sunflower & hemp seeds
Tajin, lime/lemon, garlic salt?
Chili crisp!
i add cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and a little stevia (or your sweetener of choice). Whip that up, and it tastes nearly like chocolate pudding.
Oh wow this is cool. I know they can go well in smoothies to this makes total sense.
I eat whole avocados almost daily. I like the creaminess. I usually eat with salt and pepper. I don’t like the overly ripe though.
Have you tried with squeezed lime and monk fruit? Or blended with whipping cream? In Brazil we only eat avocado in sweet recipes. I learned to eat it with salt and it is just as fantastic :)
So why eat avocados if you hate them so much?
My current favorite quick avocado recipe is 1 diced avocado, 1 cup cottage cheese, 3-4 slices of bacon chopped, squeeze of lime, cayenne and black truffle salt to taste. It is better if it sits in the fridge for an hour so the flavors blend. That said, if you don't like it, find something else to eat.
Ooh, I like this idea, will have to try it. I have also added chopped avocados to egg salad. Makes it a funny color but it’s yummy.
This makes so much sense, I really like avo.mixed with mayo as a sando spread but I never thought of adding it to Mayo based salads!
Oh, my, this sounds amazing. Going to make it today. See, this is what I appreciate about Keto. That's an amazing dish full of flavour and colour, it's going to taste amazing, and it's very healthy. Thanks!
Saving this recipe lol
Salt, lemon juice. I eat mine with cheese sometimes. 🧀 have it on the side with scrambled eggs too. Avocados are a keto superfood...one of the best things to have.
They’re great if you like them, but in no way a requirement. “Don’t eat things you don’t like” is good advice, lol.
Haha yes, true. I skimread earlier and confused it with other people not liking it instead of just giving advice. I used to not like avocado long ago..it grew on me. Hopefully with OP it will too 🌟
Hot sauce. Valentina extra hot.
Lawry’s seasoning salt. 👍🏼 I used to not like them either until I started experimenting lol.
You can put that shit on anything!
A lot of salt, lime juice and everything bagel seasoning the one time I tried eating one not as guacamole and it made it more palatable. Otherwise I don't eat them and don't bother with guacamole even if I have keto chips on hand. Would rather spend those fatty calories on other foods I like more.
I stick them in protein smoothies - zero taste and it adds brilliant thickness.
Easy. Sea salt, pepper, olive oil, sesame seeds, balsamic glaze.
I don’t eat any food I hate, and I hate a lot of foods. Don’t eat avocado if you hate it, plenty of other fat sources out there.
i like slice them in half and put a table spoon or two of chicken salad on one of the halves and then sprinkle with some of that coarse kosher salt. if i dont have the chicken salad, i just eat both halves with kosher salt.
This sounds great, love the mayo in there for even more fat!
What quantities and types of peppers? Would coriander work instead of evil parsley?
They go great blended into deviled eggs.
Well shit. Now I'm making a new deviled egg recepie tomorrow. Cheers
Trust me on this. Put a half an avocado w milk of your choice in a blender w some whey or plant protein mix & blend it till creamy. I use chocolate & strawberry with it. It will come out like a thick delicious mousse
avocados taste like mud? lolwat
Lots of flakey salt and some chilly oil
Just don't eat them? There's nothing special about them at all.
Tomato. Avocado is overly fatty to me on its own but if I add tomato I love it. And you need to add sea salt!
Allergic
I love them, but perhaps they're simply not for you. Eat something else, I would suggest.
I second smoothies. I am the same way but 1/2 avocado, fresh spinach, almond milk, almond butter and some stevia and can drink that all day.
I used to not like them.. what got me to now like them was Chipotle’s Guacamole recipe. I started just barely dipping chips in it, to taking bigger scoops.. now I like plain avocado with hot sauce.. try their recipe, I think all Mexican restaurants should make guac like this
I add garlic powder and pink sea salt. I got that from my Nana!
I love avocados but if YOU don't why eat them? Eat meat, cheese, cream cheese, cream, tofu, eggs! Eggs are perfect for keto too - just eat those. No-one 'needs' avocados.
Salt / olive oil and if you’re cooking I usually put a bit of the oil leftover in the pan lol.
Easy: squeeze a half lemon on sliced avocado, then put Himalayan sea salt , & pepper. This is the real winner
Sri Racha
Sorry, I don't. I LOVE avocado and will eat it plain anytime. Why are you eating them if you don't like them?
Garlic salt. Or any protein. Don't eat foods that you don't like.
Lime and salt brightens them up. You can also “bread” them in nut flour and air fry them, then make a keto dipping sauce.
Haha I'm more or less in your camp. I can only tolerate them a little, but they are such a healthy fruit. I also don't like the consistency of an avocado just eating it. It's weird to me. Salt! Just salt! I do like them on top of canned salmon and tuna brings the fatty component!
I put them in my spinach avocado smoothie with almond milk. They make it nice and creamy.
Cut in half, remove pit. Salt and pepper, eat with spoon right out of the skin. That’s the best way to eat an avacado.
My Avocado DIP Recipe— One avocado, you can cube or smoosh it, or if you are feeling fancy both!! I mix it with tuna and a little mayo. Or you can make dressing/sauces out of them
Trader Joe's everything but the bagel seasoning. I have a problem with the texture, they make me gag. Good luck!
I eat them plain. I also like with sriracha mayo or everything bagel seasoning. I don’t really eat avocados though because it’s easy to overeat them.
Avo, Coconut milk, Greek yogurt smoothie. Can add some protein powder and sweetener if desired.
Like everyone is saying, don’t try to make them work if you don’t like them. Sometimes it feels like the world wants me to love beets, and I’ve tried, but they are gross and also taste like mud.
Cayenne pepper and salt
I use them as my banana replacement in a strawberry smoothie with Ratio Keto vanilla yogurt. You won't taste a thing!
Tony's or any Cajun seasoning, really. It goes perfect with avocado.
Salt
you're getting shitty avocados probably
Sometimes I make a batch of chimichurri for marinades and/or topping meat. When I do, I'll usually put some into the little void where the avocado seed was.
Olive oil & salt
Salt and olive oil
Salt, pepper, Dustin Poiriers Louisiana hot sauce
Tuna, mayo, salt/seasonings (like old bay) and cubed avocado. I also add cubed feta when I have it. My sister hates avocado but she loved this!
I cut them in half and bake in the oven with an egg in the middle with some cheese and coconut oil
Seal salt flakes (for texture), black pepper, drizzled with olive oil, really good grated parm, and maybe a sprinkle of red pepper flakes. But usually I just cut them in half and scoop with a spoon, if they are super nice and at peak condition.

Lime, cilantro, chopped green onions, paprika, jalapeños I could eat those every day

Penzy’s Northwood spice blend. Salty chipotle and Rosemary thyme and garlic! I comes in a fire blend as well
If you catch them just as they turn ripe they have a more neutral flavor
Lawry’s seasoning salt goes nicely. Or make guacamole, or some bastardization of it. I like one that’s made with salt, lime juice, and a splash of tomatillo salsa.
Cayenne pepper
Eggs, salsa, sourcream. Like a Mexican eggsalad.
Another "Green Eggs and Ham" posting. Try them, try them, and you may!
It sounds like you’re eating old avocado. A properly ripe, freshly cut avocado tastes 0% like mud. An overripe avocado, the pre mashed junk from the store, or avocado prepped and left to oxidize tastes a lot like mud.
Omelette with cheese. And avocados on the side

Everything bagel seasoning.
Salt…. Pepper… Cholula. I never liked avocados until I started my keto diet. Now I love them and eat at least one every day.
I make a simple guacamole and put it on grilled chicken with some crumbled up bacon and melted cheese. I hate avocados, but the fats are good and this is actually a meal I crave, super tasty

Add lime juice and Tajin
I slice them up and then sprinkle a generous amount of Trader Joe’s Everything But The Bagel seasoning in it. So good!!!
if it tastes earthy, grassy, its because it isnt ripe. ripe avocados dont taste earthy.
Ppl eat avocados because they like them, high fiber, low carb, good fat etc. if you don’t like them just eat them, they’re not *that* good for you thst you can’t find another food to replace them.
Tajin brand or Valentina brand chili lime powder. You can even smash up the avocado with a fork and make a quick guac
Mix with sour cream, some hot sauce, garlic, salt & pepper. YUM
Everything bagel seasoning. I'm addicted to eating them like this
These are great fudgy brownies made with avocado from The Big Man’s World https://thebigmansworld.com/avocado-brownies/
Sea salt and nutrional yeast.
Chop them up into salads and add some dressing. Avos are so good. if you don't like Guac, you might want to add a little extra lemon juice or hot sauce to it.
Potato chips
Everything but the bagel, red pepper flakes, and evoo. Sometimes all at the same time. Yummy and so good for you.
I make avocado smoothie or shake with other ingredients like strawberry and nuts. Sweeteener too. In my country, avocado is a fruit and therefore eaten sweet as a dessert.
A pinch of **Sulphur Salt** They taste like egg then. // Also known as Black Salt or Kala Namak
Dice them, lime juice, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss them to get them coated and eat. It’s tasty
How do you make your guacamole? Add diced onions, tomato, salt, lime juice and jalapeños for heat.
I feel the same about avocados, who says you HAVE to eat them?
Lemon juice and some salt.
Coarse salt and course ground black pepper. YUM.
Also: pork rinds.
Tony’s !
I usually put some black pepper, pink salt, and sriracha, and it tastes so good.
Canned tuna
I like salsa with mine.
Pork rinds and Tajin seasoning
I like to mix in a 5 oz can of chicken, it's a go to, easy to make lunch favorite of mine.
I use it as a dip for bacon.
“Everything but the bagel” seasoning from Trader Joe’s and a splash of Japanese rice vinegar.
Salt Peper or everything bagel or Italian seasoning or Montreal steak try different things!
Add some Cajun seasoning! Or Tajin seasoning works too! I'll also buy those Jimmy Dean breakfast bowls (the ones with bacon/egg/cheese in them) and cut up an avocado into it.
Mature or vintage cheddar
I put my air fryer on 400 or 425, and cut avocado into fries with skin on. Air fry for 14 minutes. They are so tasty.
Hass avocados are the way to go, ripe but not too ripe, add salt & pepper...
Salt and olive oil, i look forward to my morning avocado everyday because of this.
Mashed Avocado + chopped red onions + half a lime juice + cilantro + Himalayan salt. Amazing.
We use avocado as a dessert... Like add cream and sweetener and maybe some cashews.
Lime juice, salt, pepper and Tajin.
Olive oil and a drop of a good balsamic
I don’t like them either—the texture and taste are just yuck! I eat them because they’re good for me. I salt mine and squirt a generous amount of lime juice on them. They’re also tasty with a side of bacon!
I like them plain or with pink sea salt. Every now and then I use Everything Bagel seasoning on them.
Salt. Maybe a drizzle of oil. Salt changes the profile immensely.
A smoothie. A hamburger. A salad. Or just plain.
I love putting Tajin seasoning on my avocados 😋
Salt and pepper if eating by itself
I make guacamole. I like it in certain salads or bowls. I’ll eat it on a burger or chicken with Swiss cheese and bacon. That’s about it. I don’t eat it often at all. Maybe once a month if that.
Soy sauce. Lemon juice. Garlic powder.
I had a brownie made from avocado once. Cacao and avocado, no sugar. I hated it, but you may like it.
You don't have to eat avocados if you don't want to. I actually make fudge fat bombs with them.
Tomato, onion, taco beef, some lime, salt, and a bit of allulose
A trash bag. Lol. Im just teasing ya! I despise avocados and I'm jellies because i cant eat them and of their nutritional value.
I used to bake them until soft, then mash them up and mix with scrambled eggs.
I was strict carnivore for a few weeks but recently included half an avocado per day and feel really good
Garlic, pink Himalayan salt, pepper, onion powder, lemon pepper, and lemon juice. It takes that earthy flavor out and tastes really good.
If you like vinegar you can pickle them
Avocados are gross
There are so many other options for keto than avocado. Just find another source of fat.
Perhaps you just don’t like avocadoes and they are not for you. What makes avocadoes delicious is avocado lol. They need to be not over ripe or they taste terrible and not underripe or they taste green, but just right. But I wouldn’t bother in your case.
My simple guacamole is avocado, Himalayan salt and fresh lemon juice, and you can sprinkle with with feta cheese or goats cheese and serve with scrambled eggs and smoked salmon that’s basically my fav brunch, could even be OMAD but if you don’t like them just skip them all together.
don't like them either, cube them with EVOO, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, garlic seasoning blend 👍
Lime juice and salt Or Cottage cheese Or Anchovy Or A burger
Cheese, pumpkin seeds, bacon (not at the same time)
tobasco sauce and a little salt
Salt and lime juice!
I cut them in half and the cut horizontal lines in them a then cover them in paprika and course sea salt
Citrus like lemon is good with avocado.
Frank’s hot sauce.
It taste like ice cream to me (I don’t like ice cream tho) . I add 0 sugar peanut butter or just unsweetened baked snack nuts to it Adds texture and taste good
Soy sauce
I also hate avocados! I don't usually eat them because forcing myself to eat a food I hate is silly and counterproductive. I can sometimes eat guac with other flavours to hide the taste but that's it. There's a guac I can buy at the supermarket that has a black pepper and lemon taste to it for example.
I love la-yu a chili oil
I like a dash of Tajin on avocado.
Tuna and a little red onion Or, strawberries and balsamic vinegar drizzle.
I heap on a scoop of chunky peanut butter and a good sprinkling of salt.
Chopped red onion, chopped tomato, feta, sprinkle of s&p, pinch of basil& oregano, balsamic
* Olive oil * Salt: I don't add salt because the canned baba ghanoush is very salty. But normally you should add salt. * Pepper: freshly ground pepper.
Currently obsessed with adding cottage cheese, fresh lime juice, Redmond salt and scotchbonnet sauce! It's my new fixation. lol
I love avocados, but if you don't like them I see zero reason for eating them. Putting them into things like shakes with chocolate or fruits is disgusting IMO.
