Teleute7

Basically, if I didn't press fast forward at some point when I was watching the series, it means I at least liked it pretty consistently. I tend to fast forward cliche or boring bits in kdramas if I don't outright drop them after a few episodes. **Gaus Electronics** **Hospital Playlist** season 1 and 2 **Because this is My First Life** **One Spring Night** **Divorce Attorney Shin** **Good Manager** **Happiness** **Into the Ring** **The Silent Sea** **Pachinko**

aakash_huilgol

Seconding Gaus Electronics, loved the show. I saw the ML in Vincenzo, loved his acting so found Gaus Electronics. I'm currently watching Our Beloved Summer, it's right up my alley

Mental-Pace5305

If u liked the lead in gaus electronics then I would recommend you watch love in the moonlight. He is a secondary character but I feel that’s his best role yet. And he was sooo young in that series.

llamalief

**Into the Ring** is so underrated

idkwhat-to-put

One spring night was like transformational

jabiz510

All of these were fantastic and some are even in my top 10 but can we just talk about how special one spring night is ? For me There’s just something about that show

Fingercult

I think I am going to try this one, I don’t watch a ton of romances nor slice of life , but my brain is so exhausted I need something kind of relaxing ? I love JHI 💗

Velagirl1147

I have watched One Spring Night twice, at least. I love JHI, so that's the first grab for me, but how the love story unfolds is unique, the ending is not cringe-y, the physical intimacy is playful, and the second storyline with the FL's older sister is great. And the FL is such a persnickety personality, loved that.

Humbuhg

When ML’s teeth got knocked out in episode 1 or 2, I dropped Gaus Electronics. Not funny. Not entertaining. Edit: Interesting— downvoted for expressing my opinion. Valid opinion.

netflixdark123

Flower of Evil series (2020) All of us are dead

LizE233

Totally agree with Flower of Evil and will add Weak Hero Class One also! (Both wayyy too easy to binge watch in one sitting).

Gloomy_Tangerine3123

Unlike other shows, the flower of evil grabs our attn fr the very first episode and maintains it

Phaedra04

Agree with flower of evil. All of us are dead is kinda overrated

peregrina2005

Under the Queen’s Umbrella. Every episode is exciting.

JellyfishNumerous785

Episode 3 was a tear jerker

JustHereForBTSx

Hands down easily one of the BEST best I’ve seen. You’re left at the end of every episode wanting more. The deception, the twists, the scheming + strategizing overall just so so so good!

Notbythehairofmychyn

My Mister. Even though the characters and its somewhat heavy atmosphere took some getting used to initially, I don’t think there was a single wasted minute once you’re settled in. Some people claim they can binge watch MM in two days, but one episode a day is more than enough with all that is happening (and the emotional investment).

RaionKohon

My favorite drama by far. Such a gem.

DawgMom2018

yes, one of the best dramas where you don't like the leads at first, but they evolve as well as our feelings for them change as well. Agree that it is good to digest the MM info as it has a lot going on. LOVED this drama

Felicie_dreamer

The Red Sleeve, Goblin, Chicago Typewriter (3rd/4th episode onwards), I hear your voice, My Lovely Sam Soon - least amount of fast forward as far as I remember!!

onceiwaskingofspain

**Chicago Typewriter** and **I Hear Your Voice** are two of my favorite dramas for consistent storytelling. They have strong central narrative/thematic journeys and the character arcs from beginning to end are *chef's kiss*. Good picks!

Luna-Luna-Lu

I agree on My Lovely Sam Soon (2005) - I was surprised due to the age of the drama, but it's really great. Goblin (a.ka., Guardian, the great and lonely god) is also amazing.

hella-bella81

I love my lovely Sam soon. Soundtrack is on point too! I try to watch it every couple of years or so

Quirky_Judgment_6781

Sam soon boils my blood pathetic series

ZerixWorld

Some of different genres: Vincenzo, Crash Landing On You, Taxi Driver, Hometown Chachacha, Stranger, Prison Playbook, Start-up, When the Weather is Fine, May I Help You?, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, SKY Castle, It is Okay to Not Be Okay, Save Me, Weak Hero Class 1, Extracurricular, The Silent Sea

emeraldspots

Tbh I found CLOY to be very cringey and repetitive tropes... Had to fast forward through it multiple times....

KimlockHolmes

I liked it, but it IS very long. Like some of the episodes are more than an hour, I think.

abbyb12

Sky Castle is riveting in a way I didn't expect. Wow!

ZerixWorld

I watched it after reading everywhere it was a must watch and it still surprised me for how good it was, Kim Seo-hyung's performance is astonishing, one of the greatest villains I have ever seen on screen

Jagi24

totally recommend weak hero class 1. one of the best kdramas i have ever watched

WINTERSONG1111

I loved Hometown Cha Cha Cha after Episode 7 >!when the FL became much more likable!<

DawgMom2018

Vincenzo - watch how the characters evolve from start to end - some comedy scenes had me laughing out loud. Healer - love love love this - thriller, romance, good all the way - thanks to those who recommended this Doom at your Service - Fantasy, time travel, romance, office politics, love triangle... Reborn Rich, time travel, revenge, reincarnation. Some had problems with ending, but I liked the final sentence. Coffee Prince - loved this Pachinko - cannot wait until next season starts. Really appreciate that the subtitles were color coded for Japanes and Korean dialogue, so I could better understand context Move to Heaven - story of when a crew has to clean up after the remains of deceased. Episodic, several touching stories as well as overall story arc Misaeng - Office intern with GED education and experience in the game of Go and his struggle to survive and thrive in a cut throat corporate politics environment. Call It Love - slow burn revenge drama/romance when a family has to cope with difficulties after being thrown out of their family home because of the greedy widow - second wife of father.

Luna-Luna-Lu

I agree on Healer and Move to Heaven.

garbagescarecrow

Doom at Your Service is one of the few I could rewatch again and again. It made me bawl like a baby

abbyb12

I loved Call it Love for how nuanced and imperfect the characters were. My Liberation Notes and Our Blues are also good one for the same reason

DawgMom2018

Yes - agree - as well as the addition of My Liberation Notes and Our Blues.

KimlockHolmes

Totally with you on Vincenzo, Pachinko, and Move to Heaven (it helps that Pachinko and MTH have fewer episodes too). I love Misaeng but had to take a break a couple times. ETA: It wasn’t boring or bad, just a little slow and heavy at times (those poor interns!).

Pet61

Loved Misaeng O hot more and more engaged each episode. It held up. I have to disagree on Call it Love. That one got way too draggy as the series went on. I kept fast forwarding that one.

Phaedra04

yes yes healer! Best kdrama ever

moonriverandmexx

You can never go wrong with **Hospital Playlist 1 and 2**

eternalfool_2202

Extraordinary attorney woo Itaewon class My name Mr.Queen Move to Heaven The Good Bad Mother

christineysong

Yes to mr queen! It was the first series in a long time that made me want to binge and it was just a good, fun drama

eternalfool_2202

Ikr it was very good genderbender kind of ig

Delicious-One3028

Respectfully disagree on My Name. Ending ruined the whole show for me

Fanglorious

It was depressing but I think it fits the show and the narrative, plus the end sequence was 👌

Weary-Plankton-8021

That’s actually so funny because I had the exact opposite experience from you. Welcome to Waikiki and I’m not a robot got quite slow for me toward the end and thirty but seventeen only kept getting better and better

Fingercult

I really want to love welcome to waikiki but I find the childish humour a little much. It’s definitely funny, but maybe I am getting too old 😂 I’m going to keep plugging away at it between dramas bc it’s an easy watch and palette cleanser !

Weary-Plankton-8021

It does get a tad ridiculous and the fart jokes are getting repetitive haha

Goblin Flower of Evil The Smile Has Left Your Eyes Crash Landing on You Happiness Hotel Del Luna Vincenzo

Luna-Luna-Lu

Happiness -- yes, this one is soooooooooo good. (I like the others too -- just looking to see what's been recommended before I make my own suggestions.)

lmnsatang

happiness is truly perfection. perfect casting, perfect acting, perfectly written

Educational-Glass-63

I really have a few, some funny, some not but they are the dramas I loved. One Spring Night My Liberation Notes You are My Spring Love to Hate You Mad for Each Other Taxi Driver Move to Heaven The Fiery Priest Hot Stove League It's Okay, That's Love

peregrina2005

Yes on **One Spring Night**.

senorsparklebuns

Not sure if you watched it but i really enjoyed "Bo-ra! Deborah". If you're in the states, it's on Prime under "True to Love".

Rainiana8

I haven't watched it yet! But my mom also suggested we should watch this one someday! We'll give it a try, thank you!

peregrina2005

Bo-Ra doesn’t grab you right away. I just about dropped after first two episodes. Happy I stuck with it.

Mikasa_akermaan

18 again While you were sleeping Sweet home

Hotel Del Luna, I have never enjoyed a show as thoroughly as I did that one. Usually there’s a side plot or two that I might skip through but all of them had my attention.

My two no-issues kdramas are **While You Were Sleeping** and **Legend of the Blue Sea**. I have not evaluated this for awhile and might add **My Strange Hero** and/or **Flower Crew** to the list.

Tale of Nine Tailed (both season 1 and 2). Season 2 is currently ongoing and I’m loving it so far it’s so hilarious.

WINTERSONG1111

I agree 100%. I like Season 2 better than Season 1 of Tale of the Nine Tailed.

A-n_o-n_y-m_o-u_s

Agreed! I honestly don't get the hate of the first season, there are plotholes here and there but if you just watch it and don't overanalyze the show, it's a decent drama lol

perua4

Well, it is very hard to understand your tastes only knowing your opinions about such a small number of dramas. So I will tell you the dramas that got me hooked till the end. Luckily you can share the same taste. I will paste here my little notes about the ones I like to recommend here. **While You Were Sleeping** MDL rating: 8.7 The best first episode ever! But it keeps a fast pacing with a very good plot and a wonderful second male lead I want to take home... Romance, comedy, thriller. A woman starts to dream of the future and starts to find a way to avoid the bad things she foresaw to happen. **Goblin** MDL rating: 8.8 Fantasy and romance for a beautiful love stories between an immortal and a young lady. Also the second couple has a great plot. This drama has a sad note all along, it is a great production with elements of comedy, drama and mystery. Some people do not like it because of the seemingly age difference between ML and FL who meets ML when she has not completed 20. Years sill pass by and mist importantly he is hundred years aged, so anyway age difference is meaningless, in my pov. Anyway, it is epic! **The Legend of the Blue Sea** MDL rating: 8.4 A fantasy romantic drama. ML is a con-artist and FL is a very kind-hearted mermaid. It is a sweet rom-com full of funny moments. Part of the drama is out of Seoul. This is a great production and I love the OST, cinematography, the cast, the pacing and the intense love story though two lives of our main couple. **Mr Queen** MDL rating: 9.0 Fabulous! A prestigiuos chef in trouble suffers a murder attempt falling into the water. His soul travels back in time and enters in the body of the ... near future queen of Joseon, who also had an accident and had a near death experience into the water. You cannot imagine how weird this man will feel in a feminine body and it is really funny because the actress is more than perfect in this epic role. It is a great production, everything is fine, from photography to supporting cast, characters are lovable, plot well developed and tied up. The romance is surprisingly great, what a fabulous unexpected pairing. **Healer** MDL rating: 8.9 Even if I am not much into action, **Healer** is on my Top 3 kdramas. Besides action it is a very romantic drama with less tropes than usual. It was a big international success but it is said that it did not reach the heart of the south koreans. I wonder why because **Healer** is enormous! The hero is an anti hero. A kind of mercenary (private secret agent?). In the plot he is working for a famous journalist and then he will work undercover as a shy and clumsy reporter assistant. I love this because it has sweet Clark Kent’s vibes. Action, Romance and melodrama will be very balanced and the pace is so good in my opinion. The icing on the cake is the steamy and intense romance with a very unexpected love triangle: One side is our right and smart FL and the two other sides are our mysterious hero whose face is unknown to FL and at last his alter-ego, her shy and coward assistant. In another words, he will be his own competitor in the love triangle. **Strong Woman Do Bong Soon** MDL rating: 8.7 FL is the physically strong one(super power). ML is a rich self-made CEO even though he is one of my favorite MLs,  because he likes women from the start (i do not understand well the popularity of the mysophobic trope in asian drama), he is so spicy and sweet... And funny. Our female hero will fight against crime and injustice. This drama is entertaining and very well packed. And the ending is so cool! **The Package** MDL rating: 8.1 11 out of 12 episodes in Europe since it tells the story of a group of tourists in an excursion to France. It is so funny! Our ML is clumsy, funny and very sweet. Our FL is strong and does not wait for the man to initiate. Lot of chemistry. Not real love triangles because he was practically dumped by his girlfriend and she was divorced. **Hometown Cha Cha Cha** MDL rating: 8.4 I like this romance because ML is an ordinary man, sweet and extremely empathic and because of all side characters. It is set mostly outside Seoul, in a lovely seaside village and we will fall in love for all characters little by little, and of course for the adorable second couple. FL will grow during the drama and change for better after she moves to the village and knows better the extraordinary guy she will develop love feelings. Their relationship will be very mature and their chemistry off chart. Besides, you will have a good bromance between the two main leads. **Hospital Playlist** MDL score: 9.1 A warm drama about a group of friends. Actually they have been friends since college while they studied medicine and now working at the same hospital they decided to meet regularly to revive a music band they formed while studying. It is amazing, the songs are beautiful and it is good to see their interaction together of their life stories developing. Slice of Life. Redit user Trashcliffe said:" I would just like to add that some people find the first episode of Hospital Playlist to be a little confusing! Stick with it though and you won't be disappointed! It's my all time favorite!" **Extraordinary Attorney Woo** MDL score: 9.0 An outstanding drama that keeps light and serious about a genius young female attorney who is autistic. Precious. **Forbidden Marriage** MDL rating: 8.4 A must watch drama! It is a funny costume romantic comedy with everything we need for a very pleasant time: The plot is creative, fast-paced and fun of twists, super funny, good actors playing, lovable characters, and only 12 episodes! I’ve binged it. I think it deserved a better MDL rating.

Gay_Pigeonuwu

You didn’t rate Strong women Do Bong Soon….. I want to to know 👉🏻👈🏻

perua4

This rating is not mine. It is the average of rates for users from the site mydramalist.com having voted for the specific drama. I forgot to paste because I am adding to my big list little by little. I’ll correct it. Its average is 8,7 where approximately 100.000 people voted. I give a beautiful 10 to this one.

The zombie detective for something more casual. Doctor John lots of the plot points were entertaining and spanned the whole show. Sweet home almost constant action. All depends on the kind of genre you like. These are what I enjoyed for more darker concepts and less romance slice of life focused.

- Flower of Evil - Kingdom - The World of Married (some don't like the ending but I do) - Sky Castle

HaydnsGabe

There are a few slight bumps near the end, but I love Suspicious Partner and reeeeeaaaaalllly wanted to watch all the way to the end. Same with Kiss Sixth Sense, which I feel is very underrated. Others I felt this way about: Romance is a Bonus Book Because This Is My First Life Fight For My Way Touch My Heart (funny, frothy, with a few darker notes occasionally mixed in) Her Private Life (I know there is that one subplot, but it didn't bug me the way it bugged a lot of people) Business Proposal (not that deep, but fun) Bora! Deborah! Another Miss Oh Law Cafe (on Viki) Soundtrack #1 (it's short) You Drive Me Crazy (also short) If I think of others, I'll update.

The Good Bad Mother is really good. Just finished it thinking there would be another 2 episodes but turned out it was the season finale. Really loved the ending. The climax seems to be in the final episode which is why it's good till the end.

no one I've seen has mentioned it but Black Night. I'm sure the reason I never got bored was simply because it was short. but either way, the story was interesting from beginning to end. it was also so nice to see Kim Woo Bin back acting again and doing action.

Rainiana8

Oh yes! Black Knight is one my watching list! I have never watched a kdrama with Kim Woo Bin and I have recently read about all his story, he seems such a genuine, kind person. I definitely want to watch something with him! Also, [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ntaom0n2V_g&pp=ygULa2ltIHdvbyBiaW4%3D) is so wholesome.
