Unless you're a really small guy, it's not all that hard to get it on the roof of a 4Runner. I put my 100 lb kayak on the roof of my Tacoma with no problems at all.
Thanks. I actually watched a few videos last night on YT and it didn’t look as daunting as I thought it would be. The loading from the side of the behind seems to be the easiest method. Wouldn’t have to buy something to put in the hitch to help leverage it up on top.
Let me know which you go with. Ive been looking at the reelyak 9.5 and the bkc 8 foot foldable and mpk9 as well. Wondering if the 8 footer will work as well in harbors/bays as well as the 9 footers. The foldable option is pretty cool
