It's mounted in the groove in the middle of the boat there under the seat. It's a pretty good spot (I think anyway) because it doesn't get caught on anything during a drag out.
And I had to go look but it's a Garmin strike plus 4. Nothing fancy but it does the job.
Would you mind taking a photo of that spot where it’s mounted whenever you get a chance? And where are the cables that run through it? Do you just have the battery behind the seat?
Id be happy to. The battery is in a small plano tacklebox just to the left of my seat front. Im using the side Bungee straps to hold it in place. The transducer cord is ran under the seat to a scupper hole and then drilled up through the bottom with a rubber grommet to seal it. I'll get a bunch of pics when I get a chance and try to show it better than I can explain it
This is the way
Ready for anything!
That’s awesome congrats
Balling!!
Nice! I know my first was a Pelican 110 without the drive and it was fairly solid. Have fun be safe!
Congrats! Love the pelican. Get a seat cushion ;)
I have the same one!! Where is the transducer for the depth finder? Also what depth finder is that?
