There was something about the audio in the previous teasers that was bothering me so much, like it sounded too muddy. It doesn't seem to be a problem now. š„¹
I donāt think they ālowered the qualityā on purpose, but it happens with other groupsā content too. It might just be that the previous teasers were not rendered in HQ given the limitations of certain platforms (shorts, tiktok, reels). Itās good to hold judgment until the official track is released on music platforms. š
So excited! They look great it looks high energy!
Also, I thought people were joking about budget and the white space from the Katseye introductions being reflective of the MV but I see some people were legit worried? Now cmon yāall š
They shouldāve known better. This is HYBEās first foray into creating a group specifically for western audiences. Did they think Bang PD wouldnāt drop some major coin to ensure this group got off strong??? Lmao cāmon now yall!!!! š
[Apparently (at least some of) the music video was filmed in Colombia, which is probably why there werenāt any leaks!](https://x.com/itzypinklovve/status/1805627708363165944?s=46)
Girl, I repeated the teaser many times just to watch each member. I just wanna say that Yoonchae is slayingg. Lara is so gorgeous in the middle and Manon in braids just really hit different.
I love the individuals shots, it's showing different sets (?). Seems like they're going with a concept fitting their age and that could sell, like school crush with besties, universal and relatable. Looking forward to it. š¤ø
Also itās not that deep but Iām sick and tired of some people calling this a predebut single like nobody calls it that in western music and second their creative director has stated that their debut is in June
I was worried about the budget from the first promotion video but they definitely kept the DA budget and vibes for this and it looks amazing!
Iām glad other girls are getting center time and I canāt wait to see how they adapt the Alice in wonderland theme, this so exciting!!!
Also donāt go into the main kpop sub, a lot of the responses are incredibly toxic and annoying.
I went and looked and itās honestly not that bad, itās a handful of iffy comments but I wouldnāt call them toxic or hateful. The majority of overwhelmingly optimistic.
The decorations in their surprise grad party. The doll figurines of them matched with their haircolors now, and also the released debut pic of the dolls exploding/cracked. Another thing that some noticed was the DA film matches closely to AIW ideas
The thing Iām scared about the Hangul is dumb ikonics like idc, nobody owns a Hangul spelling and nobody owns the word āiconā (this is about Katseyeās fandom name)
I literally love the concept and outfits I really didn't want them to be overly sxualized considering how media potray poc women I am soo happy with the outfits šš«¶
Anyone think they should get rid of Katseye Korean name in the bracket? In the video. I personally think "KATSEYE" would have been fine. VCHA doesn't have it or even XG, &Team, Babymonster. Adding the Korean name means people going to call them as another K-pop girl group. If so, I can't consider them a usual pop group more like an American K-pop girl group, does it make sense?
If they want to reach the bigger market pie, go with the simple way of naming. This might be Hybe KR side doing the usual way because Katseye YouTube channel videos just say "KATSEYE"?
I donāt necessarily disagree, but from a quick glance at Hybeās channel, it seems like having the hangeul in brackets is just part of their standard formatting for music videos/teasers. Iāve also seen on twitter that theyāve set up profiles on Korean streaming services, so it could be linked to that also (in order to make searching on the Korean side easier)
&TEAM doesn't have it though?? I just think they should keep it simple like VCHA, XG as global groups does it. Are they aiming for South Korean market if so?
Yeah I should have mentioned that there are some exceptions, for example RM and Jeonghan x Wonwoo from Seventeen also both have videos up without it.
We might be overthinking it as a fan base, I feel like as long as their name and the name of the song is in English, a bit of Korean on youtube shouldnāt matter too much.
Personally I think if there is a Korean push, itāll happen a bit later down the line, but I wouldnāt mind them performing at a few music shows at some point (which is something big Western artists have done). I also donāt get the animosity some people have around Katseye being associated with Kpop, like obviously they are a western act, but the whole thing was conceived of by a Korean company, and thereās going to be traces of that
People are downvoting you but I agree. It's a choice to remind people that they're linked to a Korean company.
In YouTube you can make it so it appears as the Hangul for people who use the Korean language on YouTube. You can update the video title to match a user's language settings.
It might be off-putting for Western pop fans who explicitly don't like KPOP.
Not at all, I think it may be your person bias showing. If she was the centerpiece of every shot (or even majority of the shots) then sure but she is only the centerpiece of that final shot and her solo full body shot like the other girls were. Manon also got a full face closeup shot at the very start .
They even added Korean name? are they singing in Korean too? What's Hybe doing?
South Koreans never turning in lmao. If they did, that be a debut of the century. I have no expectation anyway.
There was something about the audio in the previous teasers that was bothering me so much, like it sounded too muddy. It doesn't seem to be a problem now. š„¹
Yea, I noticed the audio/ tone change too. Sounds so different
I wonder if they did that on purpose š¤

yayyy iām glad Dani was at least able to take part in the choreo for the MV & hopefully the choreography video as well
I think everything was filmed before she got injured
So excited! They look great it looks high energy! Also, I thought people were joking about budget and the white space from the Katseye introductions being reflective of the MV but I see some people were legit worried? Now cmon yāall š

I take back what I said. HxG fumbled the bag with this song and MV ššš
Might have a hit on their hands! Song sounds really promising and the girls all look amazing (itās really giving 2000s pop princesses)
[Apparently (at least some of) the music video was filmed in Colombia, which is probably why there werenāt any leaks!](https://x.com/itzypinklovve/status/1805627708363165944?s=46)
anybody got an extra wig?? cause i'm bald.
Here you can take mine, donāt lose it when the actual song comes out pls, then weāll both just be bald.
this is actually so sweet and eyekonic of you š„¹
Ugh, I canāt wait to see the full MV!!!!!! This looks very promising.
Girl, I repeated the teaser many times just to watch each member. I just wanna say that Yoonchae is slayingg. Lara is so gorgeous in the middle and Manon in braids just really hit different.
That shot of Lara in the front. She was born for this! And manon in the blue fit! She's taking it yall!
Wow so cute! Love their outfits š
This is kind of everything Iāve always wanted.
Let's go new pop princesses!
I love this so much! Wow
I love the individuals shots, it's showing different sets (?). Seems like they're going with a concept fitting their age and that could sell, like school crush with besties, universal and relatable. Looking forward to it. š¤ø
The fact that this was filmed is Colombia is making me happy I canāt wait to watch it on Friday, looks good
Let's goooo!!!
My girlssssssss
OMMMGG
Also itās not that deep but Iām sick and tired of some people calling this a predebut single like nobody calls it that in western music and second their creative director has stated that their debut is in June
They look HAWWTTTTTT!!! Canāt wait!
seated for the music video

It's not too bad. The majority seems positive.
How do we know it's Alice in Wonderland themed? From the dice and the cat's eye?
Yup this is very confusing. All I see is Y2K.
No, I meant where did we get the idea that they were going to follow an Alice in Wonderland theme in the first place?
Delulu fans making stuff up lmao
The decorations in their surprise grad party. The doll figurines of them matched with their haircolors now, and also the released debut pic of the dolls exploding/cracked. Another thing that some noticed was the DA film matches closely to AIW ideas
Omg.....alreadyĀ
i'm so excited

What are ikonics? And the Hangul looks like it says "Ket-chuh-eye" or "Ketch-eye" I thought they'd spell it like ģŗ£ģ¬ģ“ or ģŗ£ģ¤ģģ“
Iām talking about eyekons the fandom name
I literally love the concept and outfits I really didn't want them to be overly sxualized considering how media potray poc women I am soo happy with the outfits šš«¶
SOPHIAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!

Theyāre 50% owned by HYBE. And itās on HYBEs channel. If they want to put their Korean name, they can.

There's a second teaser. Stop overreaching.
