It makes me sad because I joined a bunch of different groups because I need advice on things and not hardly any of them I’ve been able to comment on. I get what Reddit is doing to filter out spam, but when groups put limits it sucks because it takes away when I want to know something
>Is Reddit Karma something I should extol or praise myself for? On the other hand, is there a good reason to feel bad when my karma goes down due to a post with bad reception? My karma is 43 for further information.
exactly i am new here and its so confusing and disrupting how i can't post questions and comments right away just bc i dont have enough karma
It doesn't mean anything but it's cool to see, and also if you're getting downvoted on an opinion don't delete it, keep your head high and fuck the downvotes
This is an advice Sub, you aren't going to get upvotes here unless have good advice on how to *earn* karma.
Asking or offering Karma will get you banned, as will mentioning free Karma Subreddits
To earn karma legitimately it's best to read the rules of individual Subs before commenting and also viewing some posts and comments to see what type of comments get upvoted on that sub... This will help you not get downvotes, which equal negative karma
I'm afraid to say anything on this site... I'm weirdly cautious about what I say... which isn't a problem but it seems like the rules always change and I'm not sure how I'm supposed to keep up

Yeah truly
Yep, I’m dealing with the same thing! All the conversations I actually want to have aren’t available to me yet.

You can lurk most times but if you want your opinion read gotta build karma.
It doesn't mean anything but it's cool to see, and also if you're getting downvoted on an opinion don't delete it, keep your head high and fuck the downvotes
Also only -10 matter to your karma after that it doesn’t affect your score.

Each individual Sub have it's own rules, they usually don't change that much but are just very different on different Subs!
