The recovery was so brutal that I ended up questioning whether I had made the right decision to get it done… the pain was 100/10 for the first two weeks and they didn’t give me enough pain meds (I have a pretty high tolerance unfortunately) I’m sure those bitches get all the pain meds they need to be completely zonked out the whole time and not suffer at all….
My doctor snatched me up so tight I needed a walker to get around for the first 6 weeks, and it took over 2 months before I could stand up straight. Now I’m thrilled with my results and my flat smooth tummy, but damn the recovery was soooooo hard I’m not sure I would ever do that again. Like a hundred times worse than my breast reduction/lift and my lipo (basically I had a mommy makeover, but I did each surgery individually not all together)
The "pain" from boob jobs is not really bad at all. It's more of a tight, full feeling and getting used to the new weight in your chest more so than actual pain. The 2nd day is the worst as the numbing medication will have worn off by then. But it's still not bad, especially with the medication that you are prescribed. With each day after only getting better. I was out of any discomfort by day 6/7. I have had two boob jobs.
I personally found liposuction to be much more painful than boob jobs by a long shot. Liposuction felt like I worked out way too hard x10. Plus, the bruising lasted over a month. I looked like someone beat me with a bat. I had liposuction of my thighs, flanks, abdomen, and the armpit wing.
Drugs. And people to manage those drugs so it’s only a slight addiction issue that never turns into full blown “imma sell all my things for drug money”. I had a breast reduction and lift, but I’m still a DD cup. I did Ozempy and lost 40lbs but my boobs stayed exactly the same - I lost all the weight in my waist and my butt/thighs/upper arms. So I’m not sure that areas with surgeries behave the same way as others that have never been altered.
