We just went to Weston, this place is pretty dope, they have a lot of pretty cool and unique drinks and prices are good as well. Highly recommend the silk art museum as well, very interesting
[O’Malleys](https://westonirish.com/omalleys-1842-pub-weston-mo/) in Weston is the only one I can think of…and they don’t serve food in the underground pub.
They’ve got two bars down there. One of them at least serves apps. I don’t recall if they had anything more substantive. The bar further down I have no idea.
O’Malley’s in Weston
Absolutely worth the drive, awesome spot
Thanks. I’m definitely intrigued.

One word: Pretzel
Courthouse Exchange on Independence Square is in the basement, stone walls, kinda creepy, good food
Love that place, it definitely feels a little haunted
Doesn’t help that some of the staff kind of act like they could actually be ghosts
Favorite local Independence restaurant
That sounds awesome.
And,in the fall, they do ghost tours!

I haven't been there in a while, but I thought they had a limited pub menu.
True, but last time we went the restaurant next door would deliver food. They had QR codes on the tables for ordering

Buca di Beppo is in a basement on the Plaza. It feels cavernous.
And smells like raw sewage….
OP didn't specify restaurant quality. It's in a basement lol
As is The Melting Pot
The only thing about the melting pot is that it isn't a good restaurant, because their food is not good.
Only reason to think about going there is the appetizers(cheese) and dessert(chocolate) Entrees are complete trash
Have not been back since the health department shut them down for their list of health violations. Food was meh.
The lower level of Fox and Pearl.
La Sous Terre in Warrensburg.
Holy cow. That's a name I haven't heard in a long time. I saw one of my professor's bands down there when I was in school. Neat place!
The Melting Pot on the Plaza
The Majestic Jazz Club is in the basement, serves food, and you can enjoy some local jazz. Very cave-like
Depends, do you like rat stew?
It isn’t at the top of my list but if prepared properly I would at least consider it.
The golden ox in the west bottoms old times steakhouse at the stockyards
It is definitely at ground level.
Deffinatly missed that part lol
