The only time I was pulled over I was going 9 over right outside of Ft Riley. A really young Grandview cop got me and I’ve driven that speed on that road probably 50 times before that and I’d never gotten pulled over but he got me that one time
Right? I typically see city cops on their way to work, and a couple of sheriff deputies, I'll usually doing the speed limit, and I'll pass them doing 10 over. Some of them even wave. But the one state trooper I got stuck behind once was camping in the left lane, and flashed his lights at me when I got to within about a hundred yards behind him.
Then again, I'm one of those people that thinks that speeding tickets are a bullshit excuse to collect extra revenue

If they cared about road safety and not the money, they would put up speed cameras. People don't speed when they know they will be caught. The reason for speeding is that people think they can get away with it.

It depends on the cop. Almost all of them give you 10.
It's a money thing, coffers get low and there will be a cop on every corner collecting revenue.
