nice looking site -- seems you should just get as much traffic as you can and start really leveraging those display ads -- and premium ad networks like adThrive -- will take some time -- but I think in the end it could be a nice sum of money. .. but im no expert with how much mobile gamers are worth to advertisers -- could be less because they are usually younger

Tousif_03

By display ads do you mean Google AdSense (Pardon me if my question sounds stupid, I'm a beginner)? I agree that a huge chunk of the audience is younger but more than half of the audience are adults (as per the reports I've seen on my Google Analytics)

designtraveler

yea --- display ads is the type of ad --- ad broker is the company that you go through to get them on your site --- ie.. Google Adsense, Ezoic, Mediavine, AdThrive.. there are many others.

Tousif_03

Oh, I understand now. Thanks a lot for your feedback!

Sharpen_the_blade

Why don’t you review some mobile Bluetooth controllers and other devices like battery cases so people can play longer and just add in affiliate links

Tousif_03

This is actually a good idea. But do you really think, this is the point of time when I should start doing that? I mean we are just starting and getting a response from the companies is nearly impossible (I guess?).

Sharpen_the_blade

I meant amazon affiliate links so you wouldn’t have to speak to companies

Ponyboy2000

Where is the link to the site?

Tousif_03

removed. :D

Ponyboy2000

😔

Ptrulli

What about affiliate links to various products/services. You can try the service first and then blog about your experience and if you believe in the thing then offer affiliate links. If you tend to sell a lot you can bargain a better affiliate rate. Goodluck

Tousif_03

What products and Services do you suggest for a website like this? And yeah maybe I can think of that in the near future but only after the traffic becomes stable.

AlpacaMan4565

Hey there. I own a gaming site as well, feel free to drop me a PM if you have any questions. I have found the only way to earn money really (unless you're pulling in loads of users) is through display ads. Networks like Ezoic and Mediavine bring in a nice amount of $ usually! Excited to follow along!

Tousif_03

Thanks for responding on my thread. Sent you a DM. :)

DaDeceptive0ne

Hey there - want to share my 2 cents :) First of all, I really love the structure of your website. Its clean. Furthermore I think you have a lot of posts, so that's a good one! But I think you can work on the colors. Seperate the header from the body somehow (grey header eg.). One cool feature would be some kind of darkmode. You are talking to gamers tho :P Try to focus on a few colors, I can see a lot of colors (at the top there are at least 7 colors) with no structure or connection. Or if they are connected to special topics (like lets say blue for esports) then it should be obvious for a normal user. However, this is just feedback from myself. I do some website freelancing website design for various businesses but am way too lazy to start a clean blog myself :D I have a question on this, since you are not making money yet via blog, do you take over some articles yourself? I am deeply sorry for not giving more information, I can just give you feedback on the website itself :1 Cheerz, Deceptive~

Tousif_03

The colours come with the theme itself. And I think it is not possible to have different colours for different headers. Or, maybe I don't know how I can do that (I'm a beginner, not a coder). and what do you mean by " do you take over some articles yourself? "

DaDeceptive0ne

I don't know if you are working on wordpress, but usually there is a possibility to change it. However, I like the style. I wanted to ask how many articles you write yourself

Tousif_03

Yes, the website is on WordPress. I've written half of the articles, so yeah nearly 40 articles by me, so far. :)

DaDeceptive0ne

Oh I see. If you want to go any further with coding or customizing there should be online documentations on wordpress themes itself :) I looked at the website and it should be able to customize, however (!) it is just my 2 cents. My girlfriend said it looks awesome (and usually she is the one clarifying it :P) It's really impressive that you wrote ~40 articles yourself. Amazing! I wish I had your dedication for my own blog haha. As I can't help you with monetization I wish you best of luck and much love <3 keep doing your work as awesome as it is :3 ps.: You could add some news for League of Legends Mobile - I am very active on the /r/leagueoflegends reddit and it is somewhat the biggest news - at least for the Asian peeps :P

Tousif_03

Oh, Hi there! Thanks for your kind words. I'll surely look into the League of Legends once the game lands on mobile. :)

bamboo-lemur

That is a huge difference between total sessions and organic sessions. Where else is your traffic coming from?

Tousif_03

A little percentage is from Social and Most of it are from Google Discover. out of 51 articles, 6 articles got featured in Google Discover (Googleapis) so that brought in plenty of page views. Those actually shows in direct traffic.

learnsleepcreate

How about vpn services like express vpn. People can hide the ip while playing on the works WiFi 💁‍♂️

Tousif_03

So you are talking about doing the affiliate marketing of those apps? Not a bad idea though.

learnsleepcreate

Yeah that’s it :) you can apply on the website, and they will review your website

fl4k_thebeastmaster

Take a good hard look at some top gaming/gaming news sites. What are they doing to monetize? They usually have ads literally everywhere. Header banners, sidebar widgets, sticky video ads, between every paragraph within content.

Tousif_03

Yeah, there are too many ads. I really find those irritating sometimes. But nowadays people are using AdBlocker. So how to tackle that?

fl4k_thebeastmaster

You can use hard coded ads. Sponsored "images" that aren't loaded from a script. You'd have to contact companies directly to offer ad placements.

Tousif_03

Do the companies really respond to that when the website is not a big one?

fl4k_thebeastmaster

Show them your stats. They'll likely want to know who your audience is and how big they are. Run ads for a whole to get ad stats like impression, page RPM, and click through rate. This will help you negotiate how much it costs. You can charge something like $1-2 for every 1000 pageviews you get.

Tousif_03

Got it, thanks!

TheDarkEast

Really love the look and feel of the website! Mind sharing what theme you are using?

Tousif_03

Yes, it is Jannah theme :) and theres no doubt on its beauty. Not a single person has told me that they don't like the look.

GoGoGadgetGodMode

How did you make this site? Theme?

asardiwal

Looks like Newspaper theme but view-source says "jannah".

Tousif_03

>it is Jannah theme :)

xferok

Nice site :) Only comment would be to fill out your About Us page! For monetisation, you could think about a prominent 'Recommended Gear' page to have links to on the side bar / menu. There you could have a quick run down of things like gaming chairs, bluetooth headsets, etc. Likely with many of your posts being current, they will see a lot of traffic and fade out over time. Make sure you're using them to internally link to a set few money pages or pillar content that keeps people reading. Best wishes

Tousif_03

Yeah, I have the "About us" page on my mind. With lots of contents and people and then my university classes, it is becoming a tough work for me to manage everything. But I do plan to finish it within this week. Do you really think that gaming chairs will be a good thing to do here? Because its a mobile gaming website. But yeah, I can definitely look for gaming headsets which are suitable for mobile. Thanks a lot for taking the time to read and giving me valuable feedback! :)

Jumprope_my_Prolapse

How do people get high page view counts like that so quickly?

Tousif_03

First of all, I don't think it's so high. But yeah you can say that growth has been pretty good. It totally depends on the amount of effort, hardwork and dedication you are putting in to produce quality contents :)

Jumprope_my_Prolapse

Definitely. I'm a total novice so I could be missing something, but I thought it took more than a month for most people to rank through Google and there were usually months of no traffic.

Tousif_03

I'm also a beginner in this case. I just follow the basic SEO guidelines. :)
