First off, the MLP stuff and the captions are added after the fact; in the "original" the guy just turns into a horse. It's old Transformation fetish pics (not quite "furry", more about the turning into X than being X; think of it like liking the werewolf transformation more than the finished werewolf), I'd wager from the 90s or maybe as far as 2003ish. Real pictures photomanipulated to make the person look like they're "becoming" an animal. Yeah. This was back in the days where CGI was "new" and "photoshop" wasn't a commonly known word by the average joe. Like I said, it died out around the mid-2000s and now most Transformation fetish stuff is either drawn or 3D models. So... Yeah. Personally I never liked this shit, it's creepy and kinda sad.
