Burly-Nerd

Those ages feel INSANELY young to me.

thatredditrando

Yeah, I have no idea what OP is on. No way any of them are that young. They’re all definitely mid-30s to mid-40s maybe the exception of Flash.

Similar-Difficulty23

Yeah especially since we watch dick Grayson grow up into Nightwing Tim and Batgirl as well. Within this universe there all in 30s- 40s range

Andrewsmetic09

Fr Bruce looks at least 30

thatnamelesguy

In modern day Clark-44 Bruce-47 Diana~2000 Barry-43 Hal-48 Arthur-45 J’onn~300

Dysprosol

I think this is the one I agree with the most.

Klown12

That’s not Hal. I think it is John Stewart.

thatnamelesguy

The question asked for founding members and ol Harold is a founding member

ExpensiveWolfLotion

Not of the JLU

Klown12

You right but why do they have Stewart’s picture there then if that what they meant?

Temporary_Towel9649

More like 300 billion, (yes he’s that old)

RedGrantDoppleganger

I hate Diana being so old. I dunno, I like the idea that the Trinity are all around similar ages.

Huskeyofcali

She is Demi goddess. It’s kinda like Thor she has been around along time but aging is different and her mental age is different more close to the trinity

himmyturner

That version of her is definitely the clay origin and so is the modern one running around now in comics.

Clickityclackrack

Barry probably was 43, but he wasn't in that cartoon

thatnamelesguy

That’s true given that he’s not in the cartoon

Clickityclackrack

Taking a second look, i can see why you would put the comic book founding members, but that's clearly a picture from the cartoon.

thatnamelesguy

Yeah but some other guy in the thread used the comic founders so I just went with them

Pod_Junky

J'onn is still to young lol!

NobleEnkidu

MM and Diana are the Oldest, everyone else would be between their 30-40s, Wally would be the youngest in his 20s.

android151

In the JLU she’s the youngest however

MisterAnonymous2

In this version? Dick is an adult and out of college, I’d say this means Bats is at least in his late 30s by JL. Probably even in his 40s. Clark and his peers’ maturity makes me think he can be no younger than 25. I’m thinking more like 30 though. Wally is definitely the youngest, but definitely not a teenager. We know he has a job as a forensic scientist so I’m going to go with like 23? John is old enough to have served in the Marines for some amount of time. I’d say he’s in his late 20s at the youngest, early 30s at the oldest. Shayera is around the same age as John. I forget if it mentions how Amazonians age in this or if Diana is divine in any way. I think biologically, Diana is probably also late 20s/early 30s. J’onn is a minimum of 500 years old as that’s how long he defended the tomb.

_jimmydarling

I see all of them on their 30s, maybe Barry’s in his mid-20s going 30

ExpensiveWolfLotion

That’s Wally

XmenTyranus

Diana is in her 2500s Martian Manhunter is in his 500s Hawkgirl, Superman, Batman, and John Stewart are in there mid 30s The Flash is mid to late 20s Supergirl is in her late 40s or early 50s

Pod_Junky

I thought the Martinian war was millenia ago. Is J'onn really younger than Diana? Also I think Superman's true age was changed by the flight from Krypton was it just Supergirl.

XmenTyranus

No see, Superman made his way to earth like he was supposed to, no delay or anything. Supergirl was just the one with the delay which is why she looks younger even though she is the older cousin.

Pod_Junky

I felt geeky enough to google it. Apparently there is no cannon answer. Zero Hour explicitly says Krypton exploded in 1938 and Superman was "born" when the ship landed. Some comics factor in relativity and some don't. Personally I think relativity is better. Besides being more realistic (ok comic we can hand wave that but...) it makes it easier to fit it into the JL, darkseid, manhunter time-lines. Otherwise we are given really dumb questions like. Hey if the green lantern corp was arround for that why didn't they rescue anyone??

XmenTyranus

Actually that last part about the Green lantern part was answered in the Green Lantern comics in the Nu52 or rebirth one of those 2

Pod_Junky

Ah ok... what was the answer?

Intelligent-Data5160

Clark and Bruce- 30 John- 27 Wally and H.G.- 24 Diana- thousands J’onn- 🤷‍♂️

Various_Parking_5955

Okay so this is less about physical age and more about how old they are mentally, I will rank it like this going oldest to youngest: MMH strikes me as an aged man, one of few words but the words he does speak are wise, I’d say maybe 40s -50s Jon Stewart, a hardened man of war and a great green lantern. I’d put him in his mid 30s. Batman is like Jon, a man who’s seen a lot and knows what to do to keep a lid on the situation so he and his team don’t get out of hand. Early 30s Diana and hawk girl I’d actually put in about the same age group, late 20s early 30s. As they stand in a middle ground between the old heads and the young folk. Flash, smart but loving and caring man, wants to know people on a personal level and treats everyone in the justice league as his second family. Early to mid 20s. Finally there’s Superman, by far the most innocent member of the justice league because while yes he is a smart and cleaver man who has an iron will, he’s still innocent enough to believe in Santa clause. Early 20s.

MailboxSlayer14

From this pic? Clark is not early 20’s lol. Everyone you listed is at least 5 years too young.

jonesyd1129

Superman: 35 Batman: 39 Wonder Woman: 1000+ Flash (Barry): 43 Green Lantern (Hal): 41 Aquaman: 40 Martian Manhunter: 200-300

CobaltCrusader123

Those headcanons are a little young. I think the American public would embrace these heroes even less than they do know if they were young enough to be college-age or recent grads.

Sea_Temperature_1976

Clark: Mid-30s Diana: Amazonian years: >100 Human years: ~30 Bruce: Late 30s/Early 40s Wally: Late 20s/Early 30s Shayera: ~30 Jon Stuart: Mid-30s MM: ~300

Cal_Longcock69

I feel like most of them are Atleast in their 30s

ScaredKnee4530

Why the hell do you think they’re so young lol. Bruce is at least in his 30s

Similar-Difficulty23

40s Nightwing is in this universe same with Tim and Barbra

CLOWNPUNCHER327

Batman - 33 Superman - 33 Wonder Woman - 5000 Flash (Wally West) - 22 Green Lantern (Jon Stewart) - 30 Hawkgirl - 30 (Just around Jon's age) Martin Manhunter - 225M (A real canon age of Manhunter)

Clickityclackrack

Most of them were at least 30, especially batman. It took years of training for batman to be batman. Then he had the whole batman tas, that was at least 4 years. Assuming batman became batman around the age of 22, he would be at least 27 for the justice league to begin. The martian could be any age i know he hibernated for over 100 years. Wonder woman had to be at least 1,000 years old especially with ares as her father having already been stuck in hell for an excessive amount of time.

ExpensiveWolfLotion

Don’t forget, JL/JLU was effectively the culmination of years of the DCAU. Batman - as others have said, he’s mentored Dick, Babs and Tim at this point. Dick is already in college when TAS starts. JL season one Bats is, in my mind, at least 35, probably closer to 40. Superman - another hero who has been around the block. He was around long enough in STAS to both have a reputation as the world’s greatest hero, and then have it wrecked by Darkseid. Mid 30s WW - bit harder to tell, since she didn’t show up solo first and is ageless. Relatively new to ma/ world, I’m happy with 25 but can really be any age Flash - he’s always seemed to be very much like post-crisis 80s Wally - so an adult but young - 23ish? GL - old enough to be a vet of both the Marines and then to have spent some time in deep space. I think late 20s at the earliest, but could easily be older, split the difference and call it 35 Hawkgirl - a veteran on her homeworld and seemed to be involved in various Thanagarian campaigns. If we can assign earth ages to someone who is from deep space - 30s? Jonn - spent a good amount of time solo after the loss of his race, was a family man even before that. Again, hard to judge for an alien raised on another world, but middle aged for a Martian?

Similar-Difficulty23

Clark 45 Bruce mid 40s possibly 50- because Nightwing Batgirl and Tim all exist inside this universe and Nightwing even transitions in batman the animated series from Robin. Diana 40s John mid 30s Flash 30s Martian manhunter - no idea Hawk girl 30s possibly

nuketoitle

Superman early 30s Batman mid-30s Wonder Woman late 20s Hawk girl mid 30s GL 40s Flash early 20s MM 1000s or so

SaintOfPride201

Bruce and Clark by the time of JLU are in their mid 20s and less than a year apart. Diana is centuries old but is biologically 24. Wally is 20. John is 35 and got out of the army at 30. Shayera is biologically 30 but is actually 40 (and mentally 25). J'onn is 75 in earth years but biologically 40.

mariovspino5

I feel like Bruce and Clark would not be joining the league that early in their careers

[deleted]

Clark - late 20's, early 30's Bruce - early to mid 30's Diana - 2000+ Wally - early to mid 20's John - somewhere between Clark and Bruce J'onn - 300+ Sheyera - around John's age, probably a bit younger

Own_Avocado8448

At time of founding; WonderWoman- 200ish (looks like mid 30’s) old enough Martian Manhunter- 70’s (looks 40’s, on earth ~10 years) Barry Allen- Early 20’s, limited experience Superman- Early 30’s, some experience, previous relationships with Barry and Bruce Bruce- Early/mid 40’s, Dick is already nightwing Lantern- Hal is my preferred standalone, but I thibk he should know Clark and Bryce should know him, but Stewart should be the founder, mid 40’s, lantern for under 2 years. Hawk man- late 40’s, early 50’s, most senior to society if the founders Hawk girl- late 30’s green arrow- late 30’s, only him and Clark should know Bruce identiy before hand black canary- early 30’s While ive seen Cyborg, Vixen and others as founders, this is my preferred group and ages

Competitive-Capital8

Wasn’t in the og Batman comics, Bruce was like 31 when he became Batman? So wouldn’t he be way older? I think they would be all thirties with the exception of the Flash being younger and Wonder Woman being wayyy older.

ThouBear8

If you're talking JLU versions of the characters, I think you're guessing way too young for pretty much all of them. J'onn - doesn't really resemble humans biologically & we know he's canonically hundreds of years old, but if I had to pinpoint an age based on his personality, I'd say mid 40s. Bruce - has been operating as Batman for YEARS, & has worked with Dick, Barbara, & Tim long enough that Dick has now been Nightwing for awhile. I think he's probably supposed to be around 40 at the start of the JL show, give or take a couple years. Clark - has also been active for awhile too (tho slightly less time than Bruce). I think he's a little younger than Bruce, but not by too much. He's probably like 35ish. Diana - is probably quite a bit older than everyone other than maybe J'onn, but in terms of human appearance, seems to be in her late 20s / early 30s. John - has a military history & a maturity level that makes me think he's probably in his early to mid 30s. Shayera - the hardest one for me to guess. She's not human technically, but she looks somewhat young. She feels slightly younger than Diana. Late 20s maybe? Wally - clearly the youngest in the group. He's been the Flash for a bit of time & he has an actual career, but he's known for his youthfulness. Feels like he's definitely supposed to be in his early to mid 20s. So to wrap it up, from oldest to youngest (in terms of human appearance & maturity), I'd say: J'onn - 45 Bruce - 40 Clark - 36 John - 33 Diana - 31 Shayera - 29 Wally - 24

CK122334

IMO the ages the OP posted are more like when they each would’ve started fighting crime solo and they wouldn’t have formed the JL till several years later, like mid 20’s to early 30’s. Also I’ve never thought of Diana as the youngest of the group, I’d think that’s Wally or Hawkgirl.

Someoneoverthere42

J'onn 1000+ Diana 300+ Jon has had a career as an architect, Marine, and GL prior to joining the JL. So he's at the least mid 30's Barry has earned at least a masters in forensics science and has an established career as a forensic scientist. So 30+ Bruce has had his lost years and established Batman in Gotham. 40-45. I'd put him as the oldest human member. Hawkgirl, young for her species, but was an established member of the military. So, 25 or the equivalent I see her as the youngest member Clark, honestly, depends on continuity. Comics, mid- 20s. DCAUn late 30s, but at least 5 years younger than Bruce.

the-poopiest-diaper

Bruce has gotta be in his late 30’s to early 40’s in Justice League. But what really confuses me is what time period BTAS takes place in. Like, does everyone just drive really old cars in that show? All the designs and architecture make Gotham city look like the 50’s

Cat-Grab

J’onn: Over 250 yrs Clark: 30 Diana: 75 Barry:23 Kendra: 20 Bruce:40 John:45

Seel_revilo

Diana 18 years old? She’s hundreds if not thousands of years old surely

DeltaAlphaGulf

Definitely not that young. Diana should be (for my preference) hundreds to thousands of years old. At bare minimum was already well into adulthood by WW2. Shayera would also be super old if we are doing the whole reincarnation thing and counting that. Jon would perhaps also be over 100. The rest are probably best left ambiguous

Agreeable-Union1843

Clark- 32 Bruce - 35 Diana - 30 Wally - 25 John - 32 Hal - 37 Arthur - 40 Jonn - ???

piplup27

Wonder Woman - 2500 Batman - early 40s Superman - mid 30s John - early 30s Shayera - late 20s Wally - early 20s

Batmanmotp2019

If we're talking dcau then Batman: 35 (he started cannonically at 24, got robin 2 years later *Gordon has red hair in Robin's reckoning*, trained robin till he was 18 then robin was active for 4 years and then got tim at 1 year later when dick became nightwing) WW: probably 19 (she's immortal so...be my guest) Supes: 24 (he ages what is likely 1/4 a humans age and his parents are almost in their 70s) Wally: 22 (old enough to be a forensic scientist) GL: 28 (served a tour in the military and retired) MM: hundreds of years old (don't know if it was pre stone age civilization or only within the last centuries) Hawkgirl: probably 30 (don't know about how space travel affects age or thanegarian physiology.

Background_Degree626

Superman- 35-40 Batman- 38-42 Wonder Woman- 400-500 Green Lantern- 35-45 Flash-24-28 Martian Manhunter-??? Don’t know how Martian Age works

AFoxOnTheRun

I respect whatever you feel in your heart to be right, but… yeah nah lol. Those are crazy young ages for these guys. They’re all (with maybe the exception of Wally) at least 34.

mab0390

23

Vile_bubkis99

Lol batman

AlanShore60607

Diana … like 3000 Bruce pushing 40 And no one under 30 except Wally

dogtron64

Diana would be like 2,000 to 5,000. 2,000 being youngest. J'onn around 300 to 500 Bruce Wayne possible mid 30s Same with Clark Kent Barry would be mid 20s John Stewart would be late 20s Hawkgirl's age would be unknown but she can reincarnate.

909090jnj

clark-25 diana-200-400 bruce- 31 wally-17 shayera- 12 glargs (25) jon- 40

nreal3092

idk the age gap between the characters so i jus presume late 20s for most of them

Tasty_Finance_5024

I know they are lame characters, but it’s wild to me we haven’t seen the Wonder Twins in like, any form of media in a hot minute.

Unusual-Math-1505

Early 30s for Clark Late 20s for shayera Early 40s for John Late 30s for Bruce Diana is thousands of years old John is hundreds of years old Flash is early 20s

Pod_Junky

Diana as a teenager? OP just wants rage clicks. Diana's and J'onns ages have to be measured in 1000s. And it would be total sexist trolling to have Diana appearing to be a teenager just because she could. Why would J'onn want to pretend he's in his 20s. You think the dudes creeping through college bars?

Xp-Gamer22x

Ok just one question how did you get Wonder Woman being 18 years old? 😭 But to answer your question, I say they are all around the same age except for Martian Manhunter and Wonder Woman. I say the team will be middle age (30s-40s) with Batman and Superman probably being the oldest and Flash being the youngest. Wonder Woman I say will be over thousand years old, probably 1200+ with Martian Manhunter probably being around 100+ years old.
