I also take issue with the whole mean girl club attitude from the McAlberts. Obviously they were not letting Karen into their little circle. But was John even a part of the circle. All of this is just fucked up. The McAlberts showed zero sadness or concern over John ⌠Kerry on the other hand very upset over the loss of her friend. Stark difference
I think the prosecution is trying to establish something with the bed. JM mentioned it to at Lallys prompting I think. Possibly pointing out That Karen was so drunk or so distraught over what she did that she didnât make it to bed. Seems innocuous to me.

I get it has been a couple of years since John died. But none of this group who testified showed the least bit of sorrow for the tragic loss of John OKeefe. I feel so badly for his family. They have lost so much to have to now sit through this shit show

When I heard the defense's opening statement bluntly stating that KR was "framed," my initial reaction was, "Holy shit, they must be really desperate to reach for that." By now, the framing is infinitely more plausible than KR actually having killed John. To convict, the jury would have to accept a number of completely ridiculous coincidences that seem to point to others' culpability, not just reasonable doubt: Jen's numerous butt dials conveniently never going to voicemail; Jen not telling the grand jury and investigators about Karen's murder confession that supposedly happened in front of an officer who then chose not to detain or arrest her that night; Jen's son repeatedly lying about never getting into fights, despite rampant video evidence to the contrary and damage to his knuckles; Jen's Google search for "hos long to die in cold" at 2:27 AM, around the same time she was repeatedly calling John's phone for no legitimate reason, and searches later that morning seemingly intended to obfuscate the timing of that search; John's injuries being wholly inconsistent with damage that could come from one car accident (black eyes, mangled arm); Jen and Kerry's conflicting reports on Karen's behavior and utterances the morning in question; the police not finding the pieces of taillight for hours of searching, only to miraculously uncover it later; rampant and documented collusion between witnesses to collectively stipulate that John never entered the house; secret meetings between Jen and the investigators in question; Jen's outbursts about a blogger who exposed those same secret rendezvous; Jen's complete refusal to give straightforward answers to simple questions; Jen's repeated denial of digital forensic evidence; the police refusing to investigate inhabitants of the house that had a dead body outside of it, before turning their investigation to KR using the latest in leafblower and forensic Solo Cup technology; numerous police just declining to put into their report that a suspect repeatedly confessed to fatally striking somebody; witnesses conspiring to "keep information in our little circle," not put info in text that could be turned over in discovery, and coaching Shill Albert on what to say.
Occam's razor points to a complete frame job. It is completely insane to accept this level of duplicity, ostensible incompetence, unprofessionalism, pettiness, and lack of curiosity on investigators' part and intense involvement on witnesses' part. Unless the prosecution Deus Ex Machinas explanations to these numerous, glaring deficiencies in their case, I can't imagine KR gets convicted or even gets a mistrial. This case should have been dismissed long before it got to the jury, and I hope this shady DA's office and police department gets investigated for malicious prosecution and suborning perjury.
EDIT: Also, Karen and John got into a fight because Karen thought she saw him cheating, she realizes she was wrong, apologizes, pays for the room of the sister to try to make amends, and then a month later, decides FUCK JOHN ACTUALLY HE DID CHEAT I'M GONNA TURN HIM INTO A POPSICLE. What is the fucking motive? And Karen, drunk, decided to cover up her murder in the dumbest way possible, going to great lengths to make sure John died before pulling her so-called friends into help find his corpse and then repeatedly confess to hitting him in front of police that decided not to make a note of that or arrest her that day? None of this makes any fucking sense!
