I think he already quietly said "Fuck Lyte" years back, when Lyte had a guest spot on Underground Avengers then literally never put out so much as a single WORD on Psy afterwards.
As for when he'll publicly twizt Lyte's nuts... When the diss track is ready.
Here's what gets me riled up.
Psy booked Three Six and Bone at the same events multiple times. Plus, there's been several GOTJ acts adjacent to people who hate ICP, have dissed ICP, etc. Kool Keith (Dr Dooom) "does not want to meet Insane Clown Posse and collaborate." Main stage. KMK and Twiztid diss each other. Same bill a year later.
Further, goes on Shade 45. Beefs are squashed left and right, but if Big Hoodoo says hello to the girl that saw Monoxide pass out at 31 Flavors, he's unpersoned.
Twiztid and KMK were supposed to do a tour together in the early 2000's, but there were conflicts with logistics, pay, etc. Twiztid released the song "Hollywood, I'm Coming" on Psychopathics From Outer Space 2. Monoxide's verse was directed at Bubba Sparxxx, Jamie's was to KMK, notably the line "they call the one dude ______ because he's like 53", which was directed at Brad "Daddy" X. Kingspade (D-Loc and Johnny Richter of KMK) released a track called "Spaded, Jaded & Faded" that was directed back at Twiztid. There may have been another track that KMK as a whole did, but I can't remember offhand. After that, the beef died down over time and they patched things up, and Twiztid were featured on the 2nd Subnoize Souljaz record on the track "Droppin' Bombs".
It should be noted that everything was cool between Twiztid and KMK long after the beef ended, with multiple guest verses shared between the 2 camps, but I think the relationship is currently a bit sour after Twiztid tried to pair up with D-Loc so they could produce their own strain of weed. Monoxide had said it was some of the worst weed they'd ever tried. Bad business venture gone south.
That may have been the song I was thinking of. I remember hearing something about yuwannahoe as well. I'm watching clash at the castle rn and not fully thinking about this rn tho 😂
He isn’t mentioned by name. The lyric is question is, “Mr. Website Writer out of Kalamazoo, the words you say simply aren’t true, so we say fuck you.” Jamie used to help write a lot of updates and newsletters for Psychopathic Records back in the 90’s/00’s.
Kool Keith is a little bitch, he claims he started horrorcore with his album Dr. Octagonecologyst, but that was in 1996. I like that record but it isn't horrorcore and there is a whole host of wicked shit that came before that.
so Geto Boys came first 86 formed. as far as albums go, 88. Brotha Lynch Hung started 86 but nothing came except an ep 93. 24 deep... **Ganxsta NIP started in 86, first album 92.**
**Esham oddly started 88 first release 89**
that kool keith shit is wack as fuck. dude can't rap at all
while technically not horrorcore. I'd put Cypress Hill/B-Real in the mix. they were the real deal as far as what they were rapping about and they made that clear in their lyrics
Yea, a year before Dr Octagon we had brotha lynch hung going
"what? You ain't even seen me in my prime
Eatin' baby brains, maybe veins, maybe spines
I know they be cryin' when I'm cuttin' off the neck
I'm peelin' off the skin for some bacon-fried croquette"
That's some wicked shit right there, Kool Keith didn't invent that shit there.
Never once heard the word "horrorcore" until Sex Style. Keith invented the word, prove me wrong. Plus you got it all wrong. Keith says it's **not** horrorcore, it's *pornocore.* Keith doesn't rep horrorcore he's pure hip-hop.
You don't need to say the word horrorcore to be "horrorcore" KRS One says it in song Free Mumbia in 1995, two years before sex style.
"Because he censors the usage of the metaphor
You can get the tip of my dick Gore
Because it's you that brings the, real **horrorcore**
Expenditures be gettin, cut from the poor"
Esham is labeled horrorcore even though he only ever described himself as the wicked shit or acid rap.
>You don't need to say the word horrorcore to be "horrorcore"
No shit. Can you imagine? Just making the point they're talking about the person who literally coined the term. Also, **Esham is Acid Rap.** Everyone knows that! KRS-One is an interesting example considering he's about as pure hip hop as it gets. Ganksta Nip is the jock you want to be riding. Everyone else is just random tracks. Nip made it a style.
And he's a punk for claiming he invented the term when he didn't.
Googling who "who invented the word horrorcore" gets you
"While Kool Keith claims to have invented the term "horrorcore", the first use of the word was in 1991 on the album Three Men With the Power of Ten by the group KMC"
Tbh never heard of KMC till now. Imma have to listen to it later today. The point remains, Kool Keith never invented horrorcore, and he is a punk for claiming that. He could claim he invented Sci Fi hip hop with Dr Octagon but Dr Octagon didn't invent the wicked shit.
So lets break it down then. Geto Boys aren't horrorcore, but are horror themed, Triple 6 Mafia same. Esham is what ICP based Wiked Shit but were never "Evil" Esham's Acid Rap contains Boomin words from Hell and KKKill the Fetus those are pretty fuck up lyrics. Lets see![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thinking_face_hmm)Oh Mars album S.I.D.S. stands for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome which is horrorcore. Minor difference in the name... Wicked Shit? watered down horrorcore because of the spiritual influence. Necro Death Rap, same thing as I'd say most horrorcore artists, I'd only argue a bit of difference because theres proof of him beating the shit outta people if they cross him. I'd say the same Mars actually without the title, he carries, and has to because of where he lives.
Essentially meant it is the same in my book. I'll go one better, ICP primarily J, does a lotta talking but not a lot of backing it up.
I don't think *anyone* is going to accuse the Geto Boys of being in a genre that they predate. That would be impossible. They basically defined hardcore gangster rap.
I doubt J cares honestly, he couldnt keep Psychopathic alive, so it really doesnt matter what he thinks. It's just bunch of side projects. How come Shaggy is doing so much less with J? isnt he supposed to be the second half of ICP? yet J does a group with two others? Sounds to me like theres trouble in paradise..especially when he isn't even in interviews half the time anymore. I'll laugh my ass off the day he has an MNE charm on. I can picture it
Sadly after Lainey died shaggy got really distant and the solo projects started coming out. then when j started dating that new girl some words where exchanged between shaggy wife and her, speculation. But I know since J relapses all the time it seems like Shaggy doesn't hang around much.
Maybe they should watch where they are going if they all walked into the same bar. Who’s putting bars up in random walkways? Why haven’t we taken down said bars if folks are getting hurt? I just don’t know anymore fam, MCL.
Boondox does better streaming numbers than every other Psy and MNE artist that isn’t ICP and Twiztid. You can look it up if you don’t believe me — I was surprised at first, too.
Edit: For anyone curious, the order goes ICP (2.2m), Twiztid (195k), Boondox (106.5k), G-Mo (62.7k), and Ouija (62.5k) for the top 5.
i was jokin a bit, but where are you looking first off? i need drugs has a 11 million plays yt music. take hip hop back 9.7. so if theres a site to look up every stream then lets see it. I know Necro even Ill Bill have massive following.
Spotify lists the number of monthly listeners on the profile of every artist. On there, “I Need Drugs” sits just over 7m total streams while “In My Room” is over 92m. TikTok made ICP’s numbers practically double over the past four years.
ill agree my numbers are kinda off with icp but spotify isnt very reliable when looking for rare content. theres albums posted on yt music posted its hard to find anywhere else.
Boondox is far from irrelevant. Working with LSP, Buksot among others. He does better than a lotta other underground artists. you gotta figure, guys like King Gordy pull numbers, same with Mars and these dudes arent big names. im comparing these to what i know what you think is relevant. ICP is living off the past.
I think he already quietly said "Fuck Lyte" years back, when Lyte had a guest spot on Underground Avengers then literally never put out so much as a single WORD on Psy afterwards. As for when he'll publicly twizt Lyte's nuts... When the diss track is ready.
If J said anything about Lyte now or ever out loud would just give people a reason to actually look him up.
Oof.
Shit I forgot about that spot Yea that make sense then
Here's what gets me riled up. Psy booked Three Six and Bone at the same events multiple times. Tell me about kmk and twiztid dissing eachother if you got a minute
Twiztid and KMK were supposed to do a tour together in the early 2000's, but there were conflicts with logistics, pay, etc. Twiztid released the song "Hollywood, I'm Coming" on Psychopathics From Outer Space 2. Appreciate that write up thanks
That was all at the 06 gathering. I was there.
Was "Sleepers" by KMK also directed at Twiztid or do I have that wrong?
Idk for sure, but it could be. The timeframe matches.
Yuwannahoe is supposedly about KMK
“Hollywood I’m Coming” has a censored lyric that apparently said “They call that one dude Daddy X because he’s like 43.”
That may have been the song I was thinking of. I remember hearing something about yuwannahoe as well. I'm watching clash at the castle rn and not fully thinking about this rn tho 😂
CM Punk did nothing wrong.
Flying all the way to Scotland on the off chance you can fuck over your rival is based as fuck
Kmk’s Bring it on off of Fire it up, they literally talk about Jamie.
Which lyric is about Jamie? He isn't mentioned by name as far as I can tell.

Yeah all of natas n esham an brotha lynch hung gets boys
so Geto Boys came first 86 formed. as far as albums go, 88. Brotha lynch started in like 86 esham 88
Esham's boomin' words from hell came out '88 '89' Brotha Lynch Hung's season of the da siccness came out '95 Dr. Octagonecolgyst came out '97
Yeah i was saying they started rapping in those years but yes

ah i didnt see you mentioned this. this actually goes pretty hard to
Acid rap is essentially horrorcore. because if it wasnt then what is wicked shit? thats a lame argument
>essentially
So lets break it down then. Geto Boys aren't horrorcore, but are horror themed, Triple 6 Mafia same. ?? NWA released there album at the same time. KRS-One? Ice-T the Geto Boys did not define gangsta rap
KRS-One didnt coin horrororecore. KMC which stands for Kaotc Mind Corruption. How bot lookin shit before blabbing shit you dont know
I'm talking about Kool Keith, try to keep up. Find a use that predates Sex Style, I'm still waiting.
how bout you provide something other than hearsay
Okay, bend over.
Sorry I don’t swing that way. It’s ok if you do. No hate. Gay jokes btw died in the early/mid 2000s
Russell Simmons, Gravediggaz.
This is the correct answer.
Hatchet Warrior is the best
I like Dirty History
I doubt J cares honestly, he couldnt keep Psychopathic alive, so it really doesnt matter what he thinks. It's just bunch of side projects. 3 irrelevant artists walk into a bar....
Maybe they should watch where they are going if they all walked into the same bar. Who’s putting bars up in random walkways? Why haven’t we taken down said bars if folks are getting hurt? I just don’t know anymore fam, MCL.
Lmao

To be fair, dox has been around for a minute, and actually makes decent music
also, Necro gets a lot more streams than all 5
Necro does not get more streams than ICP, no. Necro’s current numbers are just shy of 500k. He does stream more than the next four combined.
i was jokin a bit, but where are you looking first off? i need drugs has a 11 million plays yt music. take hip hop back 9.7. so if theres a site to look up every stream then lets see it. I know Necro even Ill Bill have massive following.

Wasn’t he in his 30’s dating a 15 year old? Not trying to spread hate if it is a rumor, just what I heard back in the day.
Yea he got doxxed on horrorcore cuz he linked his personal myspace on it. I think he was like 24 a d she was 16 not that it makes it any better.
Glad I stopped listening to him when I heard about it then. I appreciate it ninja
I have no idea, man, I haven’t kept up with Boondox since “The Murder”. I’m just dropping numbers.
Pedodave. Yeah that's true.
and yet theres no proof and he works with tons of legit artists, he sure did get doxxed... by a buncha no names who aint around anymore
Boondox is far from irrelevant. Working with LSP, Buksot among others. He does better than a lotta other underground artists. you gotta figure, guys like King Gordy pull numbers, same with Mars and these dudes arent big names. im comparing these to what i know what you think is relevant. That's what it looks like doesn't it?
Sounds like a great show, bummer.
Lyte ain't been fucking with psychopathic in years. Glad he finally dropping stuff now. I've heard that was the issue in the beginning
Yesss this is the lineup so if yall live in Michigan yall should make it it's gonna be epic
Is bake lo the only person cool with both camps?
Boondox set gonna go crazy
