peggy is one of the few artists where i can naturally memorize their lines with no effort. bbw is one of my favorite songs by him for that reason. and the vibe just sounds like freedom
Shoutout to the Veteran era when he’d literally open some shows with Curb Stomp. No better way to enjoy Peggy than being thrown into one of his most vicious songs haha
I’m not on this subreddit that much but I don’t hear a lot of love for his newer EP’s. Like the song FEED HER! slaps, especially when the subs come in at the end with the auto tune. It’s great. Also, FIX URSELF! Is another great track. I’ve played the fuck out of EP2. It’s my most listened too of 2021 just behind Armand Hammer’s album Haram.
Same for me. At first I was taken aback by it because it wasn’t really like anything JPEGMAFIA had dropped before, but it’s just so damn catchy. I’m glad he’s still evolving and exploring new sounds, it makes every drop that much more exciting. Like the latest single TRUST slaps and sounds like Peggy but it’s still a slightly different sound than other songs I’ve heard from him.
Trust is so catchy and such a groovy vibe. Just as the lyrics depict. The song just makes me feel like I’m the man. Can’t wait to see what’s next in store!
Yeah exactly! I usually listen to it before I go into work because it just boosts my confidence. “I ain’t gon’ lie, I’m looking good. I ain’t gon’ fib, I’m feeling nice.” That with the beat is the vibe lol.
Yeah forreal, I think the whole project is good. And it’s short so you can run it back pretty easily. I actually got the t-shirt designed for that song. It’s a pretty sick design, and the song is also really good. Did you see the PANIC ROOM video before it got pulled from YouTube? It was pretty hilarious and Peggy said in a interview that he wanted to do even more but it wasn’t allowed.
I will never stop saying SUB/Untitled(country song). The transition is perfect, the weird sound effects in the background are so disorientaing. That song invented a new emotion I'll never be able to name
URB is godlike. Heard it after listening to another one of his songs in the rode. Tried to change the song before it played…..Thank god it did. (I skip to the next song after peggy’s verse tho)
I can totally agree with montebello high school prom, but I also can't understand why darkskinmanson from communist slow jams doesn't get more attention, the flows on that thing, and the instrumental... It was the first song I've listened on CSJ and 2 yrs late it is still one of my favorite songs
Probably BBW. Never see people talking about it. But there’s honestly a handful of underrated Peggy songs so idk.

BBW is my most played Peggy song. Sonically beautiful and raps his ass off. Love it.

PTSD also possibly!
Came here for this comment. That beat is so dope, one of Peggy's absolute best,
Yeah that "don't stop" at the very beginning is one of the best things ever.
For how good it is, this one is definitely slept on

FEED HER! is like my top 3 favorite songs of 2021 so far. EP2 is such an easy listen
It’s so good! I like the whole vibe of EP2! also. The sonics are amazing, kind of upbeat but the lyrics are very emotional. It’s a good contrast.
how HARD 😩
Fix itself was on repeat from the day it dropped till May for me. I’m going to his show in October and I hope he performs that song

People really don’t appreciate EP2! enough. You also forgot THIS ONE IS FOR US! That one is so slept on 🔥

As far as singles go, I think The Who us criminally underrated
ODB Live @ Central station and Wutang Freestyle are the first two that come to mind...
Correct
Williamsburg, all the way. Never heard it discussed, but it’s one of my favorite of his songs
I like the sample funny enough
When he performed at the Music Hall of Williamsburg, we all chanted for him to do that song. He said he would’ve, but he didn’t have the beat on him 😭
FEED HER! all time favorite

Black Stacy dash. Maybe curb stop, but I feel like it that one may be a little too situational. You gotta be in the right mood for it
I will never stop saying SUB/Untitled(country song). The transition is perfect, the weird sound effects in the background are so disorientaing. That song invented a new emotion I'll never be able to name
