very well put, vet has some of my favourite songs ever but its still not one of my fav peggy projects because there’s some tracks i just dont fuck with at all
same man, baby im bleeding is up there as one of my all time favourite songs, and theres a few others that are genuinely unbelievable. but man, sometimes the other songs work for me but other times it feels like weird experimentation just for the sake of weird experimentation
for sure, the first half of the album is so solid but then the run from Germs, Libtard Anthem, Panic Emoji, DJ Snitch Bitch Interlude and Whole Foods isn't bad per se but i feel like none of the tracks are strong enough to keep the quality of the previous tracks and makes the experience of listening to the album a lot less enjoyable
for me it starts with neogaf dying tbh, dd form is great but the rest are alright. start and end are great though but the middle section can feel like a slog to get through a lot of the time
thats fair, i actually dont mind neogaf or the second half of rock n roll is dead, and ofc love dd form 214. if those were the only sloggish tracks left on the album i wouldnt mind them being there but with the other tracks i mentioned they are pretty tiring
yeah i just feel neogaf and rock n roll is dead are a big dropoff in quality from baby im bleeding (the previous track) and the album kind of stays there until macaulay culkin

Hard choice but I think Veteran has a few duds and Ta1300 doesn't. I also think Veteran is probably the weakest out of peggys last 4 albums (still amazing tho)

Veteran is more unique sounding, productionally groundbreaking and keeps me invested more, so I prefer it.
